That doesn’t fit the description of a phobia. A phobia is a irrational fear, and the fear of getting murdered seems pretty rational to me.

When I was 9, my friend told me about FNaF, and basically what I got from his description was (I wasn't a good listener back then)-
"Five Nights At Freddy's is a game about robots, a bear, duck, fox and rabbit that try to get to you in an office at a pizza shop because they think you are a skeleton. It's not scary, it's actually cute."

And then he googled FNaF and I came face-to-face with Freddy's power-outage jumpscare (with sound). I then had nightmares for 4 weeks. They mostly involved me being decapitated by Foxy, suffocated by Chica or having my head bitten off by Golden Freddy (and this was in 2014 before FNaF 4 came out......) I've now gotten over my fear and love FNaF. I'm not even scared by jumpscares in most games anymore.

man i remember when there was only 4 games and when my friends played fnaf they were all trying to be Golden Freddy cause he is OP
