RE: Hasbro's Beyblade Burst – Out in Canada and Australia, international launch 2017 - MagikHorse - Aug. 06, 2021 (Aug. 06, 2021 2:36 AM)BladeKingX Wrote: Hey guys, how do you think the new QuadDrive system will be? I want to see more before I try to judge it tbh. I do like the idea better than just "flatten everything that isn't already flat enough" for sure, and it does at least look like it'll have a shorter mode to it. RE: Hasbro's Beyblade Burst – Out in Canada and Australia, international launch 2017 - Dracieleone - Aug. 06, 2021 (Aug. 06, 2021 2:47 AM)MagikHorse Wrote:(Aug. 06, 2021 2:20 AM)Dracieleone Wrote: I never started this argument, though. My original post wasn't even directed at Magik. They just decided to jump on it. They could've just ignored it and moved on, but they didn't. Because you were jumping on me with this mindset that it was impossible. Also, you're not exactly trying your hardest to end it, either, especially with that condescending attitude of yours. You're trying to avoid blame by calling me out for not doing the thing you could've done in the first place. Rules for thee, but not for me, I guess. Quote:Your logic continues to be flawed/contradictory/nonexistant, your middle ground still doesn't work the way you think it does and opens it up to damage, and either way you're missing the entire point about why things are done the way they are anyways so literally none of that even matters to begin with. I'd find better arguments by shouting at a wall at this point, and I'm just tired of wasting my time on you. Frankly, I'm tired of this, myself. Let's just agree to disagree, and leave it at that? (Aug. 06, 2021 2:36 AM)BladeKingX Wrote: Hey guys, how do you think the new QuadDrive system will be? Of all the gimmick drivers Hasbro's put out, this is probably one the better ones by virtue not completely messing up the diver's original design. If Illya's beyblade doesn't end up being Magma Ifrit, I'll probably pick up Dynamite Ifrit. I just hope it's actually good. I'm tired of getting burned by Hasbro and Takara TOMY, when it comes to "I" beys. RE: Hasbro's Beyblade Burst – Out in Canada and Australia, international launch 2017 - TitaniumNinja74 - Aug. 06, 2021 (Aug. 06, 2021 2:36 AM)BladeKingX Wrote: Hey guys, how do you think the new QuadDrive system will be? I'm honestly looking forward to it, especially with the possibility of 2-in-1 drivers. I also hope we get plenty of Hasbro exclusives, as we only got Dullahan for SpeedStorm. RE: Hasbro's Beyblade Burst – Out in Canada and Australia, international launch 2017 - MagikHorse - Aug. 06, 2021 (Aug. 06, 2021 3:27 AM)Dracieleone Wrote:(Aug. 06, 2021 2:47 AM)MagikHorse Wrote: This argument is as flawed as they come. Just as much as I didn't have to jump on it you didn't have to respond to my critique either. Sure you didn't start it, but you certainly didn't try to end it did you? This is a child's excuse to avoid blame, and it does not work in the real world. I was in the mindset of setting things straight, knowing how these things work apparently far better than you do (as do the others in the thread that have also called you out for being wrong, I've simply been the loudest and most thorough). There's several people I've been talking to on Discord to back that claim up, if you really want to see what was going on in my head. Heck, ask Hakaishin, he's there. Still, when I have things to set right I don't like to back down, so why would I end it when there's mistakes to be fixed? The answer is because I'm getting nowhere with you, so I might as well save both of our time instead of beating against a wall of stubbornness harder than Minecraft's Obsidian. This whole line is condescending itself anyways though, just saying. You're also caught in a mindset of it being possible, similar to your accusation against me. Maybe it's better not to point fingers at others when you're doing the same things too. While you're over there, go do a little research or make some test models or something. You'll figure out the truth someday... maybe. Even tho we should keep our expectations low, i got to say it looks promising so far but whether or not it ends up being "SpeedStorm 2: Electric Boogaloo" remains to be seen. This seems unlikely to me, as it does look like sharp tips exist here instead of being flattened out so badly. That's a major reason who Speedstorm wasn't always great, not just the taller heights. The answer is because I'm getting nowhere with you, so I might as well save both of our time instead of beating against a wall of stubbornness harder than Minecraft's Obsidian. I'm in no mindset. I've seen your perspective of Hasbro's Burst line. In fact, this perspective has in plain view for 5 years, now. I'm merely offering another perspective; one that, for some reason or another, triggers you. Heck, you even admitted that it would be possible in your attempts to claim it impossible. You say I should've been the one to end this, but when I finally actually try to, you just continue argue, regardless. RE: Hasbro's Beyblade Burst – Out in Canada and Australia, international launch 2017 - Vtryuga - Aug. 06, 2021 Lets not have a competition to get the last word in please, I think it would be prudent to leave this topic now. Regarding the new Quad drive system; I am very skeptical after the debacle of Speed storm. Hopefully Hasbro can pull up its metaphorical socks this time. RE: Hasbro's Beyblade Burst – Out in Canada and Australia, international launch 2017 - BeybladeManiac0 - Aug. 06, 2021 To be honest, I don't have many high hopes for QuadDrive. I'm just gonna wait until official pics are dropped to make an opinion. Also, kinda impressive how an argument over something very simple has spanned several pages. (I'm not saying that it's bad, I'm just genuinely impressed, as I've never seen a discussion between a few people reach that magnitude on a forum like this) RE: Hasbro's Beyblade Burst – Out in Canada and Australia, international launch 2017 - Dracieleone - Aug. 06, 2021 (Aug. 06, 2021 4:59 AM)Vtryuga Wrote: Lets not have a competition to get the last word in please, I think it would be prudent to leave this topic now.Yes, I agree. I declare you to have the last word. Anyway, I'm curious about the armor. As a fan of Beyblade customization, I am curious if there's any potential cross-compatibility. Doesn't look like the blade's gonna have it, but the armor appears to be very similar to Takara TOMY's armor in the right places. Unfortunately, I don't have a DB bey, so Youtube videos is all I have to go off of. We'll just have to wait and see. It looks like it's got a totally different shape to what TT uses near where they would connect, so I really doubt that they'd be cross-compatible at all. It could possibly be Rashad's real unique bey name, but it could also be an exclusive. Seeing how Magma Ifrit was a thing though, it's definitely possible. Apparently Guilty wasn't changed, although listings can definitely change. Decay could be Hasbro's Devil blade or a new unique base for Hasbro's Perseus. |
