Finally we see Valt battle again, even if it's for 5 seconds. Overall, I was really stasfyied with this episode.
RE: Beyblade Burst GT Episode #52 (March 27, 2020) - Jinbee - Mar. 27, 2020
So, this is the ending for GT huh?
Episode Review:
I decided to watch this one right away since it was the last episode and... it's alright. The battle itself was pretty cool to see, but not on the level of spectacle as Aiga VS Phi. I will say though, the Rainbow Turbo looks amazing, it's so beautiful in this episode especially, and the rainbow wave looks super cool. So the battle was pretty intense overall, with so many moves and effects, and is a decent last battle.
My personal issues with this is the ending scene feels a bit empty. There is something to it, and I'm glad that unlike Chouzetsu, we have an actual last scene after the tournament. The ending has Valt, Aiga and Drum all battle each other at the same time which is cool, and could lead to the next season well, but part of me wishes we saw more of this.
The worst part for me personally is that we don't even get a final shot of every other characters, only Pot and Lodin. What happened to Joe? Is Joe's last appearance seriously him whimpering and walking away? The last time you properly see his face is him shrieking... way to send off your characters Burst... and what about Blind? But one could argue his final scene completes his thing, so whatever. The last we see of Arthur is him kneeling down in defeat? No end speech or anything? Really? What's gonna happen to HELL?
The reason it's so concerning is because we know Burst, unlike other gen animes, almost never ever shows their extra characters past their debut season, not even a cameo. The only exceptions being the supporting characters in Season 1 in the final episodes of Burst God, and Kurtz in Chouzetsu. I didn't count Sisco as he counts as a main character in God, and will return in Sparking. This really needs to stop, I get that they aren't important, but can we please make the Burst world feel bigger, and not just feel like "separate Universes with new casts, never seeing the old ones again unless they're very major ones", please can we at least feel like some characters in the past four years actually still exist?
Overall, an okay episode with a cool battle but still lackluster elements. It's a better ending than Chouzetsu, which was really empty to begin with, but not as good as the other endings, especially Burst God, which had a nice and fulfilling feeling ending.
My overall thoughts on GT is that it's average, in my honest opinion. It lacks the cast size the previous seasons had, at least in my opinion, however I blame that on the RBV prizes not having anime beys. Still, I hardly found myself tuning into an episode unless it sounded interesting. While I'm glad it's more lighthearted now, the plot is just a little lacking, it got a little better later on, but not enough to save this season overall for me. I found GT to be a weaker version of Chouzetsu, and sadly the weakest Burst season as a result. But if you enjoy it, that's perfectly fine, I just didn't find it all that good.
Let's just hope Sparking is way better.

Beyblade Burst GT 5/10
Beyblade Burst S1 10/10
Beyblade Burst God 10/10
Beyblade Burst Cho-Z 8/10
Ngl imo gt was probably the worst out of the 4 seasons we got so far i liked it but not to the extent of the season 1. I really wish in sparking they bring back the season 1 aesthetic feel and bring back the og ost for it. I dont wanna see another evil blader destroying beys without a good reason

I see your main point is that the RBVs didn't have anime Beys, but at least we know that Sparking will. That's one thing that's working in GT's favor I feel like the combination of 12 minute episodes, an almost completely new cast of characters, and a lack of type variety is also something that worked against GT. There wasn't enough time to develop every new character, so they ended up throwing them at us with little to no backstory. Also, something that I was excited for when I first saw Ace Dragon was the idea that the anime would take advantage of Layer customization more often than with just two characters. I once again hope for this to happen in Sparking, but it probably won't. At least it looks like some characters will be able to take advantage of how the Ring and Double Chassis line up in order to create "mode changes."

Beyblade Burst Gachi - Episode 52 (Review)
The finale to GT is alright. There's a lot more closure to the main cast of characters here than there was in Cho-Z as we now see the aftermath of the tournament between Team Victories VS Team HELL. Drum, Delta, Amane, Ichika and Takane are still training to become stronger and we see that now, Fumiya have now joined Team Victories, Gwyn turns good and sees the value of friendship, and Valt and Aiga want to settle things with Drum after his win. It's very reminiscent to the first Burst season's finale which is kinda cool.
The final battle was pretty good but some things were a bit of a mixed bag for me. A lot of very nice special effects and great animation was put to use here in the final battle, as well as some scenes, which made it very nice to watch. It was a pretty epic clash of a variety of special moves and their own Turbos, Rainbow Turbo and Superior Turbo. However, what holds it back for me is how it concludes... I'm fine and expected Gwyn to lose, but I felt like after Bigbang Genesis bursted, Master Dragon should've kinda wobbled a bit to show how much of a struggle the battle is. Here, it felt like Gwyn was just like any other opponent. Still, it was a nice battle overall.
I think what holds this back from being a great finale for me is the lack of conclusion for HELL or Arthur, he just kneels down in defeat and says nothing. I wish we knew more about what happens to him and whether he changes his ways, even with just one or two lines. I also wish we saw what happened to Joe, after his humiliating send off from Episode 33, like maybe we saw that he was watching the match along with the other side characters. Yeah, he's not a particularly important character but we saw Lodin and Pot watching the match too so why not Joe.
Still, I thought it was a pretty decent episode and with only twelve minutes, I can excuse the rushed pacing and appreciate what they did.
Beyblade Burst Gachi - The WHOLE Season (Review)
This season is another very mixed bag for me. That's not to say that I thought it was bad overall, but just a lot is holding it back from being great. The fact that the season was cut short also really hurt it more as well, as it meant that we had less character screen time and less time to develop everyone else outside of Drum and Delta.
On one hand, I wasn't a huge fan of the first half of the season as it felt like the pacing was pretty slow, most of the episodes weren't as interesting (with a few exception), there was mostly filler and Drum was kind of annoying in the first half (though, not without some funny moments). There was also a huge case of not balancing the cast well in the first half too, as Amane was treated as Rantaro 3.0 at first and it felt like the only ones who were allowed to win were Drum and Delta, everyone else lost after their bey's debut. I know it's a toy commercial, but I don't want to see everyone else get thrown to the wayside like "Okay, Drum/Delta beat you, now go away".
It also felt like not a lot happened nor do we get any indication for the plot until near the halfway point, not a lot happened besides the same formula of "New opponent gets introduced, Drum beats them, they leave the show" and some bits with Delta's journey, which was also not terribly interesting to me either.
On the other hand, once Arthur hit the scene and the second half of GT began, the show really improved for me and made me interested again. Not only was it because Arthur was actually a genuinely huge threat to the main cast and the other bladers, but he actually opposed the WBBA which is the first time that has happened in Burst, which made things the more interesting (if, a little bit ridiculous). The fact that it's left up to Team Victories to help defeat HELL... twice, it does also start making me appreciate the main characters more and start to care about them. There were also some very interesting character arcs with Delta, Gwyn and to a lesser extent, Fumiya.
The animation for this season remains as awesome as ever, par for the course with every Burst seasons and a lot of cool special moves and effects used for this season were very well done
As for my opinions on the major characters so I'll be excluding Valt, Aiga, Tango, Joe, Lodin, Pot and Blind since they aren't really that important and don't get much to do anyway. For my opinions: - Drum - As I've said, I wasn't a huge fan of Drum at first as I found him kind of annoying but as time went on, I grew on him over time because of his selflessness and kindness overshadowing his craziness. However, he's still just okay for me because whilst he is likeable enough, he doesn't particularly stand out for me out of every Beyblade protagonists as he feels like another Valt, but not as developed. With other protagonists, there was something that stuck out form me. Tyson suffered from a lot of different personal issues and had to grow out of it, Gingka had a very tragic backstory which gave him a drive to win, Zyro met the #1 Legendary Blader during his childhood who gave him a bey and motivated him to surpass his expectations, Valt was childhood friends with his biggest rival since the beginning so he had a personal journey regarding his friendship and rivalry with Shu, Aiga was the most corruptible of every protagonist so he could go either way on the side of good or evil so his journey was to break out of it to become good. Drum does have small elements that make him stand out, but they aren't really as prominent as the others and his only defining trait is making scary faces, so he just kinda blends in for me, but I think he's alright overall.
- Delta - Much like Drum, I wasn't a huge fan of him at first either. It's not because he was supposedly "a copycat of Shu" as some people would claim, but rather because he kind of started off as a bland rival character IMO. I'm not sure if this is correct, but I think his motivation for his why he was brooding and aloof towards Drum has something to do with Valt picking Drum over him to face against the first GT bey, Slash Valkyrie, which seems like such a petty reason to act like a complete jerk, though could say he genuinely thought that Valt had favouritism in the mind, which is why he felt upset and wanted to upstage Drum. It did show some signs of insecurities on his part if that was the case, which is interesting. Like Drum, he did eventually grow on me and I began to like him more as I've gotten to know him and what did help me appreciate him more is his character development from being a complete jerk to being a humble and friendly blader which was pretty neat.
- Amane - Amane had a pretty cool personality and could act like three different people in one body. He could either be a trainer, a knowledgable one or a blader. What did concern me about him at first was that I thought he was just going to be the generic best friend to main character/resident test dummy for new beys for this season and whilst it did seem that way at first, he did develop much later into the season. What I really liked about him over say... Ranjiro, is that he did question if he was good enough as a blader to earn the Gold Turbo, because despite his experience in blading being longer than Drum's, Drum quickly surpassed him and was miles ahead of him which made him question his worth. He did lose so many times but once he had everything set with more confidence, perseverance and connection to his bey, he did become a better blader and defeated one of GT's most powerful bladers, Arthur... WHO USED THE BIGBANG ARMOUR ON PRIME APOCALYPSE... and Amane countered it and bursted it! That is just freaking awesome!
- Takane - Takane has no character development... or any interesting moments for that matter! He was just the resident token mini-moe character. Admittedly, I was probably too harsh towards his character, considering he never actually came off as unlikeable. However, despite that, I still don't like his character which is saying a lot considering that I'm not a fan of the mini-moe characters. Besides being exposition, he really has nothing and came off extremely irritating and grating whenever he did the battle commentaries, worse than AJ Topper from the OG series dub. His screaming was annoying, he felt like he tried way too hard to be hip and appeal to little kids but I think even kids would find him annoying. I know he's just a kid character, but he was still annoying and even without those issues, he was just... there. Even the other mini-moe characters had more of a presence and unlike Takane, at least they weren't one of the core main cast which made them more tolerable. Takane's best (and only good) moments were whenever he supported his big brother, I wish they focused on their relationship as brothers rather than make him generic mini-moe 5.0.
- Ichika - She didn't do to much in the season but I did think she was a decent character. She developed a bit as she started off as a bit of more quiet and serious character but became more social and friendly towards everyone else. The reason she started off as somewhat cold was because of her brother Fumiya, who wanted her to join his team but when she joined Team Victories, they developed a sibling rivalry relationship. Even then, she still shows signs that she cared about her brother and wanted him to open up or become nicer to her team, even having nice moments where they both bonded... even if Fumiya can be creepy towards her by constantly trying to beg her to join his team.
- Fumiya - Fumiya is my favourite GT character. He had a lot more of a personality which I loved, a neat little arc with his relationship with Team Victories in the first half of the season, he was hilarious and had more character flaws than Free which made things more interesting. He was the first character who owned a spin-stealing bey (like Ryuga and Free) to be heavily flawed as a blader which made things the more refreshing and unique. Ryuga (from MFB) and Free were almost perfect bladers who were cool, but it was admittedly getting boring seeing them easily defeat almost every opponent with a stoic look on their face and showing little to no signs of struggle just because their beys had the ability to steal spin. Fumiya on the other hand, was heavily flawed and was too arrogant with it which is why he fell short. I like that, as he had a lot of room to improve despite his bey's amazing spin-stealing abilities and wasn't just blowing through everyone. His rivalry with Team Victories was always fun to watch and to see him grow from hating them to liking them was also pretty good development on his part. Asides from that, he was just really funny too.
- Arthur - I really like Arthur as he felt like the first legitimate threat to the main characters in GT and was the first character in Burst to oppose the WBBA. Unlike Phi, Arthur had a huge organization which made him opposing against other bladers more threatening and made his god-complex a bit more understandable and make more sense. He was also the one character in GT who actually pushed the story forward and made things more conflict-heavy which made him stand out. Even when he was defeated the first two times, he never gave up and kept persevering with his plans and recruited Gwyn so his organization was unstoppable. He had a cool personality and a cool design, as he came off as pretty menacing and intimidating.
- Gwyn - Even though Fumiya is my favourite GT character, I think Gwyn is the best written character in GT for me. He kind of reminds me of Brooklyn from Beyblade G-Revolution, as they were both prodigies who were immediately skilled bladers from the beginning of their career as well as lonely geniuses who didn't understand the power of friendship, which causes them to break down when they cannot figure out their one flaw. As the main antagonist, he was better than Phi since his reason to becoming a villain was better-written. Gwyn has always been able to figure things out and solve problems using his extremely high intelligence so he was used to being always right but when he made his first major miscalculation after failing to destroy Drum's bey, he was clearly horrified. The reason he wanted to destroy Drum's bey in particular, was because for me, I always saw it as Gwyn wanting to surpass his master as Drum was the person who taught Gwyn the basics of Beyblade in the first place. The problem for him was that Drum was hard to calculate and kept outpacing him causing Gwyn to make more mistakes as Drum kept surpassing his expectations. He probably expected his calculations for Drum to stay the same and when he realised that Drum was quickly growing, he had to keep up the pace of his calculating skills with Drum's ability to quickly grow.
Originally, I wasn't a huge fan of this season and wrote it off as being potentially the worst season, judging by the first half, as it felt like the slow pacing, the amount of boring fillers and lack of story in the first half made it unengaging as well some of the characters being annoying (Takane and initially Drum) or bland (initially Delta). However, the series has aged a bit better on some rewatches and the second half definitely improved it for me too. The animation and some of the characters were pretty enjoyable and the battles were pretty fun too.
I still can't say it's a series that I think is really good, though the series isn't bad either. It's alright, but it only started getting good by the second half and that's not such a great introduction to the series unless you have the patience to wait for the good parts to finally start.

RE: Beyblade Burst GT Episode #52 (March 27, 2020) - Limetka - Mar. 27, 2020
This was interestingly a really chill episode. I would actually say that the battle in the previous episode had me a bit more on the edge than this one. Although that isn't necessarily a bad thing, since they focused a lot more on the characters this time (and there have been enough Dragon vs Genesis battles already xd)
There were two things I really liked this episode though:
- The shot of Genesis bursting didn't last really long and immediately changed to Gwynn smiling. He wasn't suprised at all. I'm pretty sure he realised halfway through the battle that Drum's right and he does indeed need friends, so he probably knew he was going to lose, but still gave it his all. I don't think they've ever done anything like this in any of the seasons, and especially not in a seson's finale, so it was really powerful.
- After Genesis bursted Dragon was still spinning a lot. Definitely a thing without a precedent in a final battle. I personally find it really cool, not everything has to be ultra close, and Drum didn't seem to really struggle in this battle. ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Now, if I had to judge Gachi as a season, I wouldn't necessarily compare it with the previous 3 . I think it works really nicely as something like an OVA or a side story., since it:
- Isn't really concerned with things like the champion title or winning a huge tournament.
- Follows characters that aren't the strongest in the world right now. This in my opinion is especially important. Characters like Valt and Aiga have a few cameo at best battles and Free and Shu appear only in flashbacks.
Meanwhile we follow a group of young bladers who struggle with their own problems. Outside of maybe the 2 or 3 Aiga champion title battles, the only arc I would classify as main story directly related to the world of beyblade would be the HELL arc (which was like the worst arc in the whole 4 seasons tbqh, HELL was more like a bey-team so why did it oppose WBBA? Why? No really, seriously, why? Wbba is just an organization that organizes tournaments, was Arthur going to make his own tournaments? Did he not like the way they were run or something lol), since what was happening there was pretty important to everyone.
Outside of that, it was mostly about Drum and Delta and the people around them. What was cool is that Delta got like almost as many battles as Drum did. He often went on his own tours to battle others and the anime focused on them A LOT.
The final battles were among the best battles in beyblade, and/but confirmed to me that this is indeed a self-contained story. Because of it being twice as short as other seasons, I don't think I can fairly rank it in terms of quality, but my enjoyment when watching it was on par with Chouzetsu. If Sparking can achieve an overarching plot that feels important, this season can be a breather - a nice change of pace for a while between two seasons very different from it.

I agree that what you say, but honestly I don't want Arthur him to change his mind and appeares back in the new season. And I don't think gwyn is not the main antagonist. As you said Arthur had a huge organization which made him opposing against other bladers more threatening and made his god-complex a bit more understandable and make more sense and was the first character in Burst to oppose the WBBA.

Whoever said it’ll be like takao v Brooklyn. I don’t expect that, Beyblade burst power scaling doesn’t align with hms. Those hms blades would trash these Burst ones in anime and in power. I’m pretty sure if there was a battle most like takoa vs Brooklyn in Burst would be Aiga vs phi
RE: Beyblade Burst GT Episode #52 (March 27, 2020) - Legend Red Eye - Mar. 28, 2020
Alright I've watched the finale and I'm going to do a proper review and my thoughts on this episode AND This season which updates couple posts back when I blindly stated my opinions on GT season.
From the start we see Drum and Gwyn have a little conversation about how they invented Imperial Dragon, and Gwyn running through flashbacks. Later, Gwyn and Genesis resonate where in this scene which I believe is about they both talking about Drum's strength and it was not part of his calculations of a "Rainbow Turbo" where as the math disintegrates and what I thought Gwyn hair's will stay up like Lui's showing his corrupted side. Surprisingly, his hair goes back to normal maybe suggesting that he is starting to realize Drum's enjoy to blade. What I think, instead of Gwyn being all frustrated and desire to break Dragon according to his calculations earlier. He is battling Drum like the normal way with no evil. Only 2 rivals clashing. Then, they both clashed and when Gwyn analyzed Dragon, Drum and saw Delta and Amane. He goes through a motivation sequence which explains "friendship" between the three bladers thus creating the phenomena "Rainbow Turbo" and Gwyn realized every bits of Drum's strength and losses. Resulting Drum, and Victories' victory against HELL Tower. We then saw, a couple short cutscenes of Audience, Drum's parents, Arthur, Pot, Lodin, the legends Valt and Aiga. They all were saying "I knew you could do it." or "Good Job, Drum" etc. (This is my educated guess, and I believe all were maybe saying completely different from here.) After when Drum and Gwyn collapsed and got up. They had a little conversation where Gwyn learns the value of having friends and maybe isn't much into his math, analytical, and geek ego he used to have. I mean he still has it, but he maybe has an alter-ego now where he realizes the value of friendship and maybe is a little extroverted. Then, we see the Victories racing to their training ground. While, Valt and Aiga appeared to battle Drum after that historical battle. Then, GT ended with a clash of the 3 protagonists like we all wanted but with no result. (Insert LAME MOMENT, but it suited very well for a finale ending of Drum's story-line of a main character. He rose to the top of GT generation.)
Now let's get to my thoughts of the episode - Overall, I expected too much from this episode with the best animations since Arthur vs Drum, and Drum/Delta vs Arthur/Gwyn (5th game) had great graphics and were improving. I thought this episode will beat everything from the burst gen. But that's a disappointment, o well, maybe there's a reason to that. Gwyn's realization was quick compared to Shu's and Phi's so maybe that's the reason? Still not sure, but this episode was an average one in terms of action. Story-line this episode was close to be there to the top. But I still think Episode 48 is the BEST episode in terms of story-line and development. It showed so much of Delta's and Drum's friendship. Now let's away from that episode, back to ep 52. Another complaint I had is that run sequence to Victories' training ground. That scene I don't understand the point of it, besides Valt and Aiga appearing and challenging Drum. Another thing I complained was no appearance of Blind and Joe not even a single cut-scene of them doing something random similar to Lodin and Pot. Arthur's reaction was lame, he needed a few moment to describe his humiliating defeat of HELL Tower besides that fall. I think the Manga does a better job ending GT, I don't recall if it was a Special corocoro issue, or part of the GT Sto. .ry-line but when Drum, Gwyn and Valt create Brave Valkyrie that could have been implemented in this episode to close the season and start a hook immediately towards Sparking so nicely.
My thoughts of GT Season after watching the finale - I'm going to admit both God's and Chouzetsu's ending scene were bland and not the best. Season 1 had the best ending and it felt like it HAD a nice closure, well GT does a very good job closing the season. I'd say it's a DRAW for me which closure is better between Season 1 and GT. In terms of action, clearly this episode wasn't the best. I think this finale battle was the worst in terms of other finales of burst we ever had. If I'd to rate my opinion of GT from either 1 to 10 out of 10. I would rate GT 7/10. Some may say why this high? GT does a better job with the development rather than Action portion of any other season. What made both God and Chouzetsu not get high scores was due to this factor it's ending and the development.
Now if your reading this I have to thank you for doing it, and I appreciate it very much. From the beginning of Jan 2020 I'd decided that GT will be my final season that I'll keep ties with beyblade, and after that I'll bid adieu to the community, to WBO, to YouTube/Discord and everything really I wanted to move on in life, and I feel now is the right time. I wanted to say goodbye to everyone since this community is nice majority of the time. I'll miss Shu, Aiga and Delta. I really hope Delta makes it, but fingers crossed I can't even see my boys in the next season. Oof. But yeah, adios amigos.

I'm glad people give their opinions about GT without saying "Where are the old characters? GT is the worst because Shu/Free/Lui isn't here, Burst sucks now" xD

Overall I’m sad the Gt’s anime wasn’t the manga quality. The anime wasn’t to bad, but the manga is way better.
One thing I did like is that they provided very satisfying closure.
The other seasons did that to tho (2 others at least)
In Burst I cried after Valts loss. But we were all able to except that wasn’t the end I think. It was pretty sad for me tho.
In god it was about the same as Gt to me. I liked shus transformation through the battle, and the buildup too.
In chouzetsu in really wanted to flip off a certain fictional character
Another cool thing Gt did, was save insane animation for episode 49 rather than 52. And episode 49 definitely had the best animation in Burst.

I agreed the manga did gt better maybe if the anime has the same quality as the manga probably it will be my second favorite season
