Hi, Kellin, are you saying that you would like to come, or that you will be joining us for this event?

And welcome to the WBO!

Definitely wish I could've made it out for the event, hoping to see some in Maryland this weekend though!

So I'm going to the Slipknot Concert in VA Beach on the 31st of July. Would anyone want to do an event on the 30th? I believe i can get one of the game shops.

I'm definitely interested! Pit me up as a maybe though if it's happening.

Edit:* Put.

For anyone in Northern VA, is anyone interested in setting some kind of thing up? I'm sure stores up here like Victory Comics or Anime Pavillion or any other stores of the sort in the area would be interested or we could go ahead and do a grassroots thing at any one of the local parks. Anyone down for something, PM me or just go ahead and reply, cause it'd be really nice to have an event up here in NOVA.

Not sure how close you are to Richmond, but I'm planning to start something up semi-regularly if I can get enough players once I'm back in school.

VCU sounds nice but it's a pain going down 95 to Richmond. It'd be an idea though.

carp, looks like I may be in South Carolina that weekend for a Scouts trip. I would get back the 31st which is the funniest part, so maybe I could rough through it and drive down after coming back or maybe something not too long after or before.

I've hosted in Sterling thrice before so it's not a dead region. When I lived there we got a pretty nice turnout.

Some kind of meetup would always be nice, just gets more practice in and you can be around people who share the same hobby haha.

I mean I'm down with stuff but my schedule is always unpredictable so I'm always going to be a maybe haha. Try to get some other member especially from the nearby Silver Spring, MD community. That's how I did it.

RE: [Virginia, USA] Tournament Discussion #2 (Updated: 4/12/2016) - The Supreme One - Aug. 26, 2016

So now that I'm settled back in at UR, would anyone like to attend/co-host a Richmond tournament? I'll be talking to the owner of a local board game store next week & can mention Beyblade if there's an interest.

RE: [Virginia, USA] Tournament Discussion #2 (Updated: 4/12/2016) - Angry Face - Aug. 26, 2016

Welcome back!

Hm, now that school's started for me as well, I doubt I'll be making it to Richmond anytime soon, but I remember Prubame used to host at a neat card shop in Carytown called One Eyed Jacques. They'd be another good candidate in case the shop you're looking at right now doesn't work out. And IIRC, there's a pretty nice park by Carytown called Byrd Park, so that could be another decent choice.

RE: [Virginia, USA] Tournament Discussion #2 (Updated: 4/12/2016) - BeyCrafter - Aug. 26, 2016

If the tournement is on a Saturday, and I don't have any homework, then count me as a possible.

Thanks for the suggestions! That's the one I was referring to haha & I know a few other parks in the area that we could use if people are interested Smile

BeyCrafter Great! If I'm able to host an event, it will definitely be on a Saturday.

I can get One Eyed Jacques pretty easy. I also have a contact in a VA Beach card shop/Game Shop.

Would you be interested in hosting there? I don't know the guys there particularly well, so if you're able to get in touch with them, that would be great too.

I'm still up for helping host one if we can get one or two more people interested! Could even aim for the end of October if there's a strong interest.

So my birthday is coming up in November, and VA is kinda cool, and Richmond has a lot of good memories. So Nov 12th or 13th, who would be down for tournament?
