Valt: “I’ve ratted you out, Shu! Your plan has failed! I got the doctor you got the poison from to prove the sugar packet had poison in it! The police put on their way, and you’ll be going to prison for a very long time, Shu!”
*Shu went into a hot sweat. He knew he was going to be screwed over if he didn’t do something to save himself*
Shu: “But Valt! Of course I didn’t think I’d be able to get away with this! I came back here to surrender.”
Ken: “Don’t believe him, Valt. Being a bad guy before, I can tell the difference from truth and untruth.”
*Valt nodded to Ken in agreement, realizing Shu was lying. Kento then walked out using a cane, looking a bit better*
Kento: “I can’t believe a son of mine, biological or not, would try and kill me. I’m having you removed from the Aoi fortune.”
*Shu knew it was over for him. There was only one thing he knew left to do. The police arrived at that moment to come arrest Shu*
Shu: “Humanity has held me back! My bey is far too weak to fight against guns as is! But with your blood, Valt, I can upgrade Spriggan as well as myself and surpass the human race! I will strike you down, Valt!”
*Shu quickly launched Spriggan towards Valt’s heart at a quick speed. Kento jumped in front of Valt, Spriggan going right through Kento’s chest*
Valt: “Father!”
*Valt lifted Kento’s hand*
Kento: “It’s ok, Valt. I’m glad to see who you have grown up to be. I’m proud of you, Valt. Do whatever you have to do take down Shu.”
*Kento’s hand fell to the floor, dead. Valt had only a moment to shed a tear, because the blood that Kento had shed had splashed onto the relic, which Shu placed right above Spriggan’s core, and Spriggan was right above Shu’s heart*
Shu: “Now I shall surpass the human race!”
*The relic reacted to the blood, going right through the core of Spriggan and Spriggan going right into Shu’s heart. The police officers saw what Shu had done and started shooting. The shooting caused Shu to fall out of the first floor, and onto the grass right outside the Aoi mansion*
Police Chief: “This will take a while to clean up. We’ve got two dead bodies and a broken window.”
*Valt was relieved. At last this was all over. His father may have died, but Shu was dead as well. The police chief, however, felt like something was watching him*
Valt (Thinking): It almost looks like a figure of some sort is lurking right above the window Shu fell out of. Speaking of Shu-
*Just as Valt was about to think about looking to see if Shu’s corpse was still there, Ken looked over there instead*
Ken: “Shu’s body. It’s gone!”
*Ken ran away from the window the police chief was by. A Beyblade was launched from above and went right through the police chief’s head, killing him instantly and causing blood to pour around him as he dropped to the floor. The Beyblade started ricocheting all over the room, and went right through a couple of the police officer’s bodies. Valt got a quick look at the Beyblade and realized it was Spriggan. It had taken on a more aggressive shape than before, and seemed to be designed more as a killing machine than it had been before*
Valt: “Get out of the mansion before the Beyblade kills you!”
*The remaining police officers ran out of the mansion, one being killed by Spriggan’s wrath as they ran out the door*
Ken: “Let’s stop this menace together, Valt!”
*Valt nodded in agreement, and at the same time as Ken, he launched his Beyblade. Kerbeus was sent flying by Valkyrie and Kerbeus headed towards Spriggan. Spriggan easily sent Kerbeus flying back towards Ken, and Kerbeus went right through Ken’s right arm*
Ken: “S-save yourself, Valt. It’s too powerful.”
*Shu came out from the top of the window and caught Spriggan with his bare hands*
Shu: “It seems you two are no match for my upgraded Spriggan. I’ve decided I’ll call it Storm Spriggan! Now to finish this guy off.”
*At that point, the only people in the building were Valt, Ken, Shu, and a dead Kento. Shu launched Spriggan again and Valt picked up Kerbeus as well as Ken before Storm Spriggan could hit them. Valt had Ken hide, and Valt launched Valkyrie. Valkyrie got shut down by Storm Spriggan*
Shu: “No matter how many times you try to defeat Storm Spriggan, you’ll never get a direct hit on it!”
Valt: “I wasn’t aiming for Spriggan.”
*At that moment, Valkyrie sliced off Shu’s left arm. Shu didn’t even notice until a second later. The area wasn’t bleeding at all*
Valt (Thinking): The area where Shu’s arm was cut off isn’t bleeding. What’s going on?
*Shu picked up his severed arm, and put it back onto his body. A few seconds later, he was able to move his fingers on his left hand*
Valt: “Shu, what have you become?”
Shu: “The Ultimate being. I could have my head cut off and I’d still be able to live! Paired with Storm Spriggan, I’ve become unstoppable.”
Valt: “We’ll see about that!”
*Valt had started a fire with Valkyrie’s incredible speed. Valt quickly picked up the burning Valkyrie and launched. Shu was caught off guard by it and Spriggan was unable to deflect Valkyrie. Valkyrie went straight through one of Shu’s right fingers. The finger melted right off of Shu’s hand*
Valt (Thinking): So extreme heat, or maybe even light, seems to be Shu’s weakness. I know what to do now.
Shu: (Thinking): So it seems I’m weak to extreme heat, or maybe it’s light. Either way, I can’t let Valt defeat me with this knowledge.
*Valkyrie smashed into the curtains on the other side of the room, and started a fire. Valkyrie ricocheted back to Valt, who caught Valkyrie. The fire spread very fast and was already started to burn the carpet flooring of the first floor*
Shu: “Trying to burn me to death are you?”
*Shu launched Storm Spriggan towards the fire, and it ricocheted off the wall after it had been exposed to fire. It went straight towards Valt’s head, but Valt had already retrieved Valkyrie and launched it, allowing Valt to be protected. Valkyrie made impact with Spriggan, and got deflected back hard. Valt picked up Valkyrie and noticed the core was cracked*
Valt (Thinking): Valkyrie might break soon. If I get out of this mess alive I’ll have to get Valkyrie fixed.
Valt: “Ken! Get out of here while you still can!”
*Ken proceeds to run out the entrance of the mansion without Shu noticing. By then, the fire was spreading quickly on the floor. Valt tried to run out to the door but then a piece of the roof fell in front of the entrance*
Valt (Thinking): Looks like my only way out of this is going up.
*Valt ran up the stairs, which were already crumbling as the first began to spread to them. Valt managed to get to the second floor before the fire spread to the second floor. Valt grabbed on to the outer part of the door frame, and climbed onto it. The fire had spread onto the second floor and the stairs collapsed. Not long after, the entire second floor flooring collapsed*
Shu: “You can’t escape me by climbing up, Valt! Storm Spriggan will get to you eventually!”
*Storm Spriggan started ricocheted off the walls. Shu realized this could damage Spriggan, so the only option was to climb up the wall Valt was on, which was risky. Spriggan dug into the wall, and created a space where it could freely spin without losing too much stamina. It did this every time it climbed up, little by little, getting closer and closer to Valt*
Valt: “You can’t get to me if I strike Spriggan down before it can get up here!”
*Valt launched Valkyrie, but Valkyrie was immediately deflected back hard by Storm Spriggan. Valt caught Valkyrie, and noticed the crack had turned into several bigger cracks that’s spread from the core*
Valt (Thinking): This is not good. If I continue to use Valkyrie, it’ll break.
*Storm Spriggan continued to climb up. By the time it was right below Valt, Spriggan had too little stamina to climb up more, so it dug into the side of the wall and was going to be used as a thing to hold onto by Shu*
Shu: “One good thing about my new form is that my incredible feats of strength allow me to jump all the way to you!”
*Shu prepared for a large jump, and went for it. The floor below him had been completely eaten up by fire, and Shu was getting close to Storm Spriggan to latch onto it*
Valt: “You won’t be getting up here!”
*Valt launched Valkyrie again, and Shu caught it with his bare hands*
Shu: “You forget my strength allows me to catch your high speed Valkyrie.”
*Shu latched onto Storm Spriggan, and took another leap, his plan to kill Valt as he took Spriggan launched. However, it seemed Valt had a plan*
Valt: “You forget I still have another bey, Shu.”
*Valt launched Kerbeus, and Kerbeus deflected Spriggan’s attack just barely, as Shu was caught off guard by Kerbeus. Valt took Valkyrie from Shu’s hands, and launched Valkyrie straight into Shu’s heart. Shu nearly fell, but launched Storm Spriggan again onto the wall and latched onto it*
Shu: “I won’t let you win, Valt! I shall become the superior one of this world, and I won’t let a mortal stop me!”
*Valt had to think quick. Shu launched Storm Spriggan and Valt deflected by launching Valkyrie. Valkyrie put in one last big attack, which deflected Spriggan and pushed Shu back. Shu tried to launch Spriggan into the wall again, but Valt deflected again with Valkyrie, causing Valkyrie to break into three pierces, Shu started falling down to the mansion floor.
Shu: “You think the fire is going to kill me, Valt?”
Valt: “It will if it pierces through your brain.”
*Shu realized at that moment what Valt had done. He had deflected Shu right above a piece of the house with a large piece of sharp wood sticking up from the floor of the burning Mansion*
Shu: “Valt. If anyone was to defeat me, I always thought it would be you.”
*Shu fell straight into the large piece of sharp wood, piercing right through Shu’s brain and instantly going limp. Valt fell onto the mansion floor as well, having no energy left after the fight with Shu*
‘A few hours later, in the morning’
*Ken was standing 30 feet away from the mansion. It had been 3 hours since he had escaped, and there was still no sign of Valt. The mansion had burned to the ground completely*
Ken (Thinking): Valt. Did he die? Did Shu win?
*Just then, a figure came limping into the ground, and fell into the grass. It was Valt*
Ken: “Valt! Are you ok, Valt?”
Valt: “Yes, but I’m severely injured after that fight.”
Ken: “Is Shu dead? Did you kill him?”
Valt: “Yes. Shu’s brain was pierced and he went limp. He burned in the fire. Shu is no more.”
Ken: “Well, we need to get you to a hospital as well as me.”
*Ken and Valt managed to walk to a nearby hospital a few miles away. Meanwhile, the doctor that had give Shu the poison rummaged around for the relic in the remains of the Aoi Mansion. The doctor wanted to experiment with it*
Doctor (Thinking): This relic. It looks to have special powers. I have to find and experiment with it.
*When the doctor had found the poison, and hand reached out of the remains, and pulled the doctor in. The figure bit into the doctor’s neck, and the doctor went limp instantly*

Kento: “It’s ok, Valt. I’m glad to see who you have grown up to be. I’m proud of you, Valt. Do whatever you have to do take down Shu.”
*Kento’s hand fell to the floor, dead. Valt had only a moment to shed a tear, because the blood that Kento had shed had splashed onto the relic, which Shu placed right above Spriggan’s core, and Spriggan was right above Shu’s heart*
Shu: “Now I shall surpass the human race!”
*The relic reacted to the blood, going right through the core of Spriggan and Spriggan going right into Shu’s heart. The police officers saw what Shu had done and started shooting. The shooting caused Shu to fall out of the first floor, and onto the grass right outside the Aoi mansion*
Police Chief: “This will take a while to clean up. We’ve got two dead bodies and a broken window.”
*Valt was relieved. At last this was all over. His father may have died, but Shu was dead as well. The police chief, however, felt like something was watching him*
Valt (Thinking): It almost looks like a figure of some sort is lurking right above the window Shu fell out of. Speaking of Shu-
*Just as Valt was about to think about looking to see if Shu’s corpse was still there, Ken looked over there instead*
Ken: “Shu’s body. It’s gone!”
*Ken ran away from the window the police chief was by. A Beyblade was launched from above and went right through the police chief’s head, killing him instantly and causing blood to pour around him as he dropped to the floor. The Beyblade started ricocheting all over the room, and went right through a couple of the police officer’s bodies. Valt got a quick look at the Beyblade and realized it was Spriggan. It had taken on a more aggressive shape than before, and seemed to be designed more as a killing machine than it had been before*
Valt: “Get out of the mansion before the Beyblade kills you!”
*The remaining police officers ran out of the mansion, one being killed by Spriggan’s wrath as they ran out the door*
Ken: “Let’s stop this menace together, Valt!”
*Valt nodded in agreement, and at the same time as Ken, he launched his Beyblade. Kerbeus was sent flying by Valkyrie and Kerbeus headed towards Spriggan. Spriggan easily sent Kerbeus flying back towards Ken, and Kerbeus went right through Ken’s right arm*
Ken: “S-save yourself, Valt. It’s too powerful.”
*Shu came out from the top of the window and caught Spriggan with his bare hands*
Shu: “It seems you two are no match for my upgraded Spriggan. I’ve decided I’ll call it Storm Spriggan! Now to finish this guy off.”
*At that point, the only people in the building were Valt, Ken, Shu, and a dead Kento. Shu launched Spriggan again and Valt picked up Kerbeus as well as Ken before Storm Spriggan could hit them. Valt had Ken hide, and Valt launched Valkyrie. Valkyrie got shut down by Storm Spriggan*
Shu: “No matter how many times you try to defeat Storm Spriggan, you’ll never get a direct hit on it!”
Valt: “I wasn’t aiming for Spriggan.”
*At that moment, Valkyrie sliced off Shu’s left arm. Shu didn’t even notice until a second later. The area wasn’t bleeding at all*
Valt (Thinking): The area where Shu’s arm was cut off isn’t bleeding. What’s going on?
*Shu picked up his severed arm, and put it back onto his body. A few seconds later, he was able to move his fingers on his left hand*
Valt: “Shu, what have you become?”
Shu: “The Ultimate being. I could have my head cut off and I’d still be able to live! Paired with Storm Spriggan, I’ve become unstoppable.”
Valt: “We’ll see about that!”
*Valt had started a fire with Valkyrie’s incredible speed. Valt quickly picked up the burning Valkyrie and launched. Shu was caught off guard by it and Spriggan was unable to deflect Valkyrie. Valkyrie went straight through one of Shu’s right fingers. The finger melted right off of Shu’s hand*
Valt (Thinking): So extreme heat, or maybe even light, seems to be Shu’s weakness. I know what to do now.
Shu: (Thinking): So it seems I’m weak to extreme heat, or maybe it’s light. Either way, I can’t let Valt defeat me with this knowledge.
*Valkyrie smashed into the curtains on the other side of the room, and started a fire. Valkyrie ricocheted back to Valt, who caught Valkyrie. The fire spread very fast and was already started to burn the carpet flooring of the first floor*
Shu: “Trying to burn me to death are you?”
*Shu launched Storm Spriggan towards the fire, and it ricocheted off the wall after it had been exposed to fire. It went straight towards Valt’s head, but Valt had already retrieved Valkyrie and launched it, allowing Valt to be protected. Valkyrie made impact with Spriggan, and got deflected back hard. Valt picked up Valkyrie and noticed the core was cracked*
Valt (Thinking): Valkyrie might break soon. If I get out of this mess alive I’ll have to get Valkyrie fixed.
Valt: “Ken! Get out of here while you still can!”
*Ken proceeds to run out the entrance of the mansion without Shu noticing. By then, the fire was spreading quickly on the floor. Valt tried to run out to the door but then a piece of the roof fell in front of the entrance*
Valt (Thinking): Looks like my only way out of this is going up.
*Valt ran up the stairs, which were already crumbling as the first began to spread to them. Valt managed to get to the second floor before the fire spread to the second floor. Valt grabbed on to the outer part of the door frame, and climbed onto it. The fire had spread onto the second floor and the stairs collapsed. Not long after, the entire second floor flooring collapsed*
Shu: “You can’t escape me by climbing up, Valt! Storm Spriggan will get to you eventually!”
*Storm Spriggan started ricocheted off the walls. Shu realized this could damage Spriggan, so the only option was to climb up the wall Valt was on, which was risky. Spriggan dug into the wall, and created a space where it could freely spin without losing too much stamina. It did this every time it climbed up, little by little, getting closer and closer to Valt*
Valt: “You can’t get to me if I strike Spriggan down before it can get up here!”
*Valt launched Valkyrie, but Valkyrie was immediately deflected back hard by Storm Spriggan. Valt caught Valkyrie, and noticed the crack had turned into several bigger cracks that’s spread from the core*
Valt (Thinking): This is not good. If I continue to use Valkyrie, it’ll break.
*Storm Spriggan continued to climb up. By the time it was right below Valt, Spriggan had too little stamina to climb up more, so it dug into the side of the wall and was going to be used as a thing to hold onto by Shu*
Shu: “One good thing about my new form is that my incredible feats of strength allow me to jump all the way to you!”
*Shu prepared for a large jump, and went for it. The floor below him had been completely eaten up by fire, and Shu was getting close to Storm Spriggan to latch onto it*
Valt: “You won’t be getting up here!”
*Valt launched Valkyrie again, and Shu caught it with his bare hands*
Shu: “You forget my strength allows me to catch your high speed Valkyrie.”
*Shu latched onto Storm Spriggan, and took another leap, his plan to kill Valt as he took Spriggan launched. However, it seemed Valt had a plan*
Valt: “You forget I still have another bey, Shu.”
*Valt launched Kerbeus, and Kerbeus deflected Spriggan’s attack just barely, as Shu was caught off guard by Kerbeus. Valt took Valkyrie from Shu’s hands, and launched Valkyrie straight into Shu’s heart. Shu nearly fell, but launched Storm Spriggan again onto the wall and latched onto it*
Shu: “I won’t let you win, Valt! I shall become the superior one of this world, and I won’t let a mortal stop me!”
*Valt had to think quick. Shu launched Storm Spriggan and Valt deflected by launching Valkyrie. Valkyrie put in one last big attack, which deflected Spriggan and pushed Shu back. Shu tried to launch Spriggan into the wall again, but Valt deflected again with Valkyrie, causing Valkyrie to break into three pierces, Shu started falling down to the mansion floor.
Shu: “You think the fire is going to kill me, Valt?”
Valt: “It will if it pierces through your brain.”
*Shu realized at that moment what Valt had done. He had deflected Shu right above a piece of the house with a large piece of sharp wood sticking up from the floor of the burning Mansion*
Shu: “Valt. If anyone was to defeat me, I always thought it would be you.”
*Shu fell straight into the large piece of sharp wood, piercing right through Shu’s brain and instantly going limp. Valt fell onto the mansion floor as well, having no energy left after the fight with Shu*
‘A few hours later, in the morning’
*Ken was standing 30 feet away from the mansion. It had been 3 hours since he had escaped, and there was still no sign of Valt. The mansion had burned to the ground completely*
Ken (Thinking): Valt. Did he die? Did Shu win?
*Just then, a figure came limping into the ground, and fell into the grass. It was Valt*
Ken: “Valt! Are you ok, Valt?”
Valt: “Yes, but I’m severely injured after that fight.”
Ken: “Is Shu dead? Did you kill him?”
Valt: “Yes. Shu’s brain was pierced and he went limp. He burned in the fire. Shu is no more.”
Ken: “Well, we need to get you to a hospital as well as me.”
*Ken and Valt managed to walk to a nearby hospital a few miles away. Meanwhile, the doctor that had give Shu the poison rummaged around for the relic in the remains of the Aoi Mansion. The doctor wanted to experiment with it*
Doctor (Thinking): This relic. It looks to have special powers. I have to find and experiment with it.
*When the doctor had found the poison, and hand reached out of the remains, and pulled the doctor in. The figure bit into the doctor’s neck, and the doctor went limp instantly*

Chapter 4: Bey Spirit Overdrive

*Valt had been in the hospital for a few days now, getting better and better. The fight against Shu had taken a toll on him, but within the next few days, he would be out of the hospital. Ken decided to visit Valt on this day. Ken was right at the door when he saw a nurse treating Valt’s wounds. The nurse’s hands were dirty with blood, as if she had been working on him for a while. Ken respected that, and decided to come in. The nurse noticed and questioned Ken*
Nurse: “Are you a friend of the patient’s?”
Ken: “Yes, I am. I already was approved to come up here to visit him, and noticed you were working on him.”
Nurse: “Yeah, I’ve been working on him for the past few days nonstop. He hasn’t woken up since he was admitted.”
*Ken could tell that the nurse had been up for quite awhile without rest. Just then, the nurse fainted, and Valt’s hand swung out and caught her*
Valt (quietly): “Nice to see you came to visit me, Ken.”
*Valt looked at the nurse she’d just caught. He came to a realization that he recognized the nurse*
Valt: “K-Krystal!?”
Krystal: “Nice to see you after a few years, Valt. I’ve been the one treating you while you’ve been in this hospital.”
Valt: “To think you have been the one treating me this whole time I have been here. No wonder your hands are so worn out and bloodied.”
*Ken decided to show himself out, and let the two catch up with each other, which they did for a few hours*
‘That night, in London’
*A well known murderer around the city, named Killer Gabe, or KG, was quietly walking on the streets, looking for a victim. This very night, he chose a young woman, who he decided to kill and take a prized possession he could sell off for a hefty price. He waited, walking quietly behind her, until the time was right. In the darkest area, he knew it was time to strike. Gabe got out a launcher and launched a bey right through her chest, killing her upon going through her. She fell to the ground, a pool of blood starting to form. Gabe took the amulet, and began covering up the murder*
Gabe (Thinking): Good thing I brought a knife and wore gloves. Now all I have to do is place this knife right where her wound is, and it’ll be shrugged off as a suicide.
*For reasons such as this, Gabe got away with many murders. Tonight, Shu, accompanied by his new assistant Wakiya, was walking down this very road, hoping to find the murder Killer Gabe. The doctor had taken on a false identity, and Shu had revealed his true identity, once he turned him into a vampire, to be Wakiya. Eventually he saw Gabe, and slowly walked up to him, with the assistance of a cane*
Shu: “Killer Gabe, is it? You’re exactly who I was looking for.”
Gabe: “You’ve got one second to start talking or I end your life.”
Shu: “I simply need help ending someone’s life. Someone who could be a threat to my plans.”
Gabe: “It’d be easier to end your life then work as a pawn.”
*Gabe ran towards Shu and launched. The Beyblade rushed to slice into Shi’a throat, when Shu launched and deflected the Beyblade. Storm Spriggan then sliced into Gabe’s foot. Shu jumped into the air and bit Gabe’s neck, causing him to go limp instantly. Shu took Spriggan out of Gabe’s foot, and waited a few seconds*
Shu (Thinking): Any moment now he should become what I am.
*A few seconds later, Gabe got back up, with his new zombified look*
Shu: “You’re going to go find Valt, and whoever is with him, and kill them. Find a carriage they’ll ride on, and hide inside one of the horses.”
*The new Gabe nodded in agreement, and went off to do so*
Wakiya: “Why let someone else go after Valt for you?”
Shu: “If Valt can defeat Gabe, I’ll know just how powerful he is. Then I’ll be able to prepare for the worst.”
‘The next day, on a road near the hospital’
*Valt had been released from the hospital that day, but had to use a cane to get around for now, since his leg was still fractured from the fight. Krystal was walking alongside him. They noticed as they were walking a man sitting on the grass right beside the road. He was staring at Valt, almost as if he was preparing an attack*
Valt (Thinking): This guy is kinda creepy. I need to be ready for if he attacks me.
*The man ran in for an attack, launching his Beyblade and striking Valt right where the diaphragm was. Valt fell to his knees, wheezing for a few seconds*
Krystal: “What did you do to him!?”
Man: “I didn’t hurt him or anything. In a few seconds he’ll notice his leg is no longer fractured.”
*A few seconds later, Valt noticed the pain in his fractured leg was gone, and that he could walk around on it*
Valt: “H-how did you do this? You fixed my leg.”
Man: “My Beyblade, Rising Ragnaruk, struck you right in the diaphragm. I stuck you just right so it corrected your breathing and allowed your body to open up a new ability that would otherwise stayed dormant.”
Valt: “You’re saying that my breathing fixed my leg?”
Man: “Pretty much. Let me introduce myself. My name is Rantaro, and I’ve come to tell you that Shu is not dead. He still has the core relic and he intends to make an army of zombified bladers to take you down.”
Valt: “How would you know about any of this?”
Rantaro: “Because I was fated to meet a young man, being you, and help him take down an evil power that could take over the world. I overheard the discussion you had with Ken yesterday evening, so I know now you are the one.”
Krystal: “What is he talking about? What’s going on?”
Valt: “I never told you, Krystal. That Shu guy wanted my family’s fortune, and would do anything to get it. Now it seems he’s become zombified and is wanting to take over the world.”
*Krystal looked at them both in confusion*
Rantaro: “How about you two follow me down to a nearby river, so I can teach Valt about the technique I used on him?”
Valt: “I wouldn’t mind doing that. How about you Krystal?”
Krystal: “I guess so.”
*The three walked towards a nearby river, where Rantaro was prepared to teach Valt*
Rantaro: “One thing I noticed is that this Shu was weak to extreme heat, or sunlight, correct?”
Valt: “Well, yes. When Valkyrie landed a hit on Shu, his leg melted right off.”
Rantaro: “Well, my technique will be needed if you are to take down Shu. It’s called Bey Spirit. Without it, you’ll never be able to defeat Shu. It involves breathing techniques, but also forming a bond with your Bey. May I see Valkyrie for a moment?”
Valt: “Sure, but Valkyrie broke during my fight with Shu.”
*Valt handed over the broken Valkyrie to Rantaro. Rantaro held the bey in his hands, closed his eyes, and used his Bey Spirit he had with Ragnaruk. Visible energy that looked like electricity flowed through Rantaro’s hands. A few seconds later, Rantaro handed back Valkyrie, now fixed, but also with a new look. The wings now looked much more like wings, and in the center, a V for Valkyrie*
Valt: “H-How did you do this!? This is incredible!”
Rantaro: “I’ll put it in simple terms. The Bey Spirit that flowed through my hands melted the plastic on your Bey and fused it with the other three parts. I also had to give it a new shape and look for it to work with Bey spirit, since the one you were using isn’t designed to attack people.”
*Rantaro handed back Valkyrie, now Victory Valkyrie, to Valt*
Valt: “Still, that is incredible! I’ll call Valkyrie...Victory Valkyrie! I’ll train in Bey Spirit so I can take down Shu!”
Rantaro: “Ok then. First, let’s show you a somewhat simple technique.”
*Rantaro readies his launcher at an angle towards a rock*
Krystal: “Don’t launch it there! There’s a frog on that rock!”
*Rantaro launches Rising Ragnaruk somewhat weakly, and Ragnaruk hits the frog lightly and bounced off of it. The Bey Spirit energy flows through the frog, prompting the frog to jump off the rock right before the rock broke into two pieces perfectly*
Valt: “I’m a bit confused. How did you not kill the frog when you hit it?”
Rantaro: “When Rising Ragnaruk hit the frog, it was done so lightly, and the Bey Spirit went through the frog and into the rock just as the frog jumped off when only its feet were touching the rock. The lesson you should learn here is that Bey Spirit can travel through any living thing, and when enough Bey Spirit is directed into a smaller area, like the frog’s legs, it can make a clean cut through things.”
Krystal: “I’m not making much sense of this, but this is an amazing thing you can do.”
Valt: “I think I’m getting the sense of this. Guess you’re like my partner now, eh Valkyrie?”
*Rantaro noticed a small amount of Bey Spirit flowing from the hand Valt was holding Valkyrie in*
Rantaro (Thinking): This kid is definitely destined to be the one to take down Shu. Just from a few minutes of observing Bey Spirit, he has already began to form a bond with Victory Valkyrie.
‘In an abandoned castle’
*Shu had found a place where no one roamed, and he could regain power. Wakiya, with his Wyvern, brought back corpses for Shu to suck the blood out of, so he could slowly go back to full health. Right then he was sucking the blood out of a corpse, and was getting close to regaining full health*
Shu (Thinking): Gabe should be able to track them down within a week or two, and kill them if they get too close to my location. Even if he can’t defeat them, by the time they get to me, I will have already regained my full health and would be able to easily deal with them myself.
Shu: “You can have the remains of this corpse.”
*Shu threw the corpse to Wakiya to eat the remains*

Valt: “Well, yes. When Valkyrie landed a hit on Shu, his leg melted right off.”
Rantaro: “Well, my technique will be needed if you are to take down Shu. It’s called Bey Spirit. Without it, you’ll never be able to defeat Shu. It involves breathing techniques, but also forming a bond with your Bey. May I see Valkyrie for a moment?”
Valt: “Sure, but Valkyrie broke during my fight with Shu.”
*Valt handed over the broken Valkyrie to Rantaro. Rantaro held the bey in his hands, closed his eyes, and used his Bey Spirit he had with Ragnaruk. Visible energy that looked like electricity flowed through Rantaro’s hands. A few seconds later, Rantaro handed back Valkyrie, now fixed, but also with a new look. The wings now looked much more like wings, and in the center, a V for Valkyrie*
Valt: “H-How did you do this!? This is incredible!”
Rantaro: “I’ll put it in simple terms. The Bey Spirit that flowed through my hands melted the plastic on your Bey and fused it with the other three parts. I also had to give it a new shape and look for it to work with Bey spirit, since the one you were using isn’t designed to attack people.”
*Rantaro handed back Valkyrie, now Victory Valkyrie, to Valt*
Valt: “Still, that is incredible! I’ll call Valkyrie...Victory Valkyrie! I’ll train in Bey Spirit so I can take down Shu!”
Rantaro: “Ok then. First, let’s show you a somewhat simple technique.”
*Rantaro readies his launcher at an angle towards a rock*
Krystal: “Don’t launch it there! There’s a frog on that rock!”
*Rantaro launches Rising Ragnaruk somewhat weakly, and Ragnaruk hits the frog lightly and bounced off of it. The Bey Spirit energy flows through the frog, prompting the frog to jump off the rock right before the rock broke into two pieces perfectly*
Valt: “I’m a bit confused. How did you not kill the frog when you hit it?”
Rantaro: “When Rising Ragnaruk hit the frog, it was done so lightly, and the Bey Spirit went through the frog and into the rock just as the frog jumped off when only its feet were touching the rock. The lesson you should learn here is that Bey Spirit can travel through any living thing, and when enough Bey Spirit is directed into a smaller area, like the frog’s legs, it can make a clean cut through things.”
Krystal: “I’m not making much sense of this, but this is an amazing thing you can do.”
Valt: “I think I’m getting the sense of this. Guess you’re like my partner now, eh Valkyrie?”
*Rantaro noticed a small amount of Bey Spirit flowing from the hand Valt was holding Valkyrie in*
Rantaro (Thinking): This kid is definitely destined to be the one to take down Shu. Just from a few minutes of observing Bey Spirit, he has already began to form a bond with Victory Valkyrie.
‘In an abandoned castle’
*Shu had found a place where no one roamed, and he could regain power. Wakiya, with his Wyvern, brought back corpses for Shu to suck the blood out of, so he could slowly go back to full health. Right then he was sucking the blood out of a corpse, and was getting close to regaining full health*
Shu (Thinking): Gabe should be able to track them down within a week or two, and kill them if they get too close to my location. Even if he can’t defeat them, by the time they get to me, I will have already regained my full health and would be able to easily deal with them myself.
Shu: “You can have the remains of this corpse.”
*Shu threw the corpse to Wakiya to eat the remains*

Chapter 5: Journeying to Find Shu
*Valt had shown interest in training in Bey Spirit, so Rantaro decided to train Valt in Bey Spirit for one week to prepare against Shu and any other foes he was with. It was the same day Valt had met Rantaro, and Krystal decided to leave for now and come back everyday to see how Valt was doing*
Rantaro: “All right then, Valt! Let’s get started! For our first lesson, you will learn how to harness Bey Spirit. It require a specific breathing of keeping the most air in your lungs as you can at almost all times when you use Bey Spirit. Once you learn it and use it enough, it’ll become second nature to you. Watch closely at my breathing and try to replicate it.”
*Rantaro started doing the breathing technique, keeping as much air in his lungs as possible while breathing, and Bey Spirit energy started to spark out of Rantaro’s arms*
Valt: “Doesn’t look too hard. Let me give it a try!”
*Valt attempted to do the breathing correctly, but after a few seconds, nothing was happening*
Rantaro: “Your breathing is too fast. Try breathing a bit slower and see if you see even the smallest amount.”
*Valt tried again, but this time he still couldn’t get a reaction after a few seconds*
Rantaro: “You’re letting out too much air. You’re going to need to keep in as much air as possible and stay at that amount as new air comes in and old air comes out.”
*For the rest of that day, Valt practiced his breathing, and even got some hiccups on one attempt, to which they had to take a break to wait for them to go away. Valt was still going at it even after they had dinner*
Valt (Thinking): I’ve gotta give it one more go. I have to do this to take down Shu.
*As Valt was thinking that, he steadied his breathing, keeping as much air in as possible, and Bey Spirit started to flow from his hands. It stuck a nearby tree and left a burn mark on the side, akin to a mark a fire would leave behind*
Rantaro: “You got it! Keep that kind of breathing up, and you’ll be strong enough to defeat Shu in no time!”
*The next day, Rantaro taught Valt how to control the Bey Spirit he could now generate, and Rantaro decided to keep the training area the area by the river*
Rantaro: “The key to controlling your Bey Spirit is your thoughts. You want to think about what part of the body you want the Bey Spirit to flow through. Like this.”
*Rantaro thought about his Bey Spirit flowing to his finger, and as soon as he did, the Bey Spirit flowed to his finger, and he zapped the ground*
Rantaro: “Make sure to clear your mind as well so you can focus on the thoughts you need to for this, by the way.”
*Valt attempted to clear his mind and think about where he wanted the Bey Spirit to go. It ended up not working and the force of the Bey Spirit shot him into the ground*
Rantaro: “You seemed a bit stressed. Try to keep calm, so you can concentrate and make sure that doesn’t happen again.”
*Valt kept trying, each time a reason why he hadn’t been able to. It took a few hours, but one on attempt at that point, Valt thought about the Bey Spirit going through his right index finger, and the Bey Spirit started to flow through his right index finger, and Valt struck the ground*
Rantaro: “That looked very controlled. Good job, Valt!”
*Valt continued to train throughout the week, taking several hours to properly learn each skill needed to properly use Bey Spirit. He learned things such as how to send Bey Spirit through his Beyblade, as well as how to do the technique Rantaro had done several days earlier, and how to send Bey Spirit through hard objects. Valt struggled with sending a Bey Spirit through hard objects, and wasn’t able to do it well at all. Six days after Valt had started Bey Spirit training, it was his final day of training. Today, he was going to be doing a Bey Spirit match against Rantaro*
Rantaro: “Today, Valt, you will fight me in a Bey Spirit battle. What matters most is that you use what you’ve learned this week to try and defeat me. I will not be holding back.”
Valt: “I understand. I’m ready.”
*The two pulled out their launchers and readied their beys*
Both: “Three, two, one, shoot!”
*The two launched their beys. Riding Ragnaruk took the ground, and held it*
Valt: “Go for it Valkyrie!”
*Victory Valkyrie slammed into Rising Ragnaruk. Ragnaruk held its ground and Valkyrie was thrown from the impact*
Valt: “Keep going for it Valkyrie!”
*Valkyrie kept slamming in Ragnaruk, Ragnaruk not budging*
Valt: “Valkyrie! Use your Bey Spirit Overdrive!”
*Victory Valkyrie had Bey Spirit flowing through it, and Valkyrie went in for the attack. Rising Ragnaruk tilted slightly, and Valkyrie made impact with Ragnaruk. Valkyrie burst on impact*
Valt: “Wait a minute. How could you possibly have won when I went in for the attack?”
*Valt picked up Victory Valkyrie*
Rantaro: “Ragnaruk tilted slightly, which allowed me to make contact with a Bey’s spot of weakness: It’s disc. I sent in Bey Spirit through it and Valkyrie burst.”
Valt: “So am I ready to take down Shu?”
Rantaro: “Not entirely, but we have used up enough time. This morning I heard of a zombified looking creature roaming around a town called Ivanten. We need to go check it out.”
Valt: “Ok then. Can we get an ally that I think could help us? They have a Bey too and even though they can’t use Bey Spirit, I think he’ll be helpful.”
Rantaro: “I guess. We got to go quick though.”
*Valt agreed, and once Valt paid a proper goodbye to Krystal, they set out to Lost Road to get Ken. When they got there, Ken agreed to help out Valt and Rantaro, and they set out to go to Ivanten by carriage horse*
Valt: “Thanks for the ride, Ken.”
Ken: “No problem. I’m just glad my friends agreed to let me borrow it, or otherwise we’d be making this journey on foot.”
Valt: “By the way, Rantaro, how long should the ride be?”
Rantaro: “By carriage, I would say a few hours. By foot it would have taken us half a day to get there.”
Ken: “I knew it was a good idea to use the carriage.”
‘A couple hours later’
Ken: “Looks like we’re coming across a tunnel.”
Rantaro: “That means we’re almost there. A few minutes after we come out fo the tunnel, you should be able to see the town in the distance.”
*As they were entering the tunnel, one of the horses started to act up*
Ken: “Down, boy, down! It’s just a bit of darkness!”
Rantaro: “Ken, I don’t think the horse has any issues with the darkness. I don’t know how, but we might be being attacked by a foe sent from Shu. Get in the carriage, Ken!”
*Ken jumped into the carriage. The horse started jumping around more and more. Rantaro noticed the underside of the horse was wide open, and blood was pouring out onto the dirt road ground*
Rantaro: “I think the enemy’s inside the horse! You two get down!”
*Ranatro used his Bey Spirit and made it go inside the horse. A couple seconds later, a man opened the back up of the horse and jumped out. The horse laid in the ground, dead, and in a pool of blood. The man launched a Beyblade, and it started to attack the brick arching of the tunnel. The walls began to shake and after several big hits, the walls began to crumble*
Rantaro: “Get out of the carriage! The tunnel’s falling apart!”
*The three jumped out behind the carriage, and many the tunnel bricks fell onto the ground, killing the other horse and destroying the carriage. The tunnel was still there, but many of the bricks had fallen and broke*
Rantaro: “We have to kill whoever is in that tunnel. Valt, how’s my chance for me to tell you what’s been holding your Bey Sprit powers back.”
Valt: “What is it?”
Rantaro: “You’ve been wasting a lot of the energy, and it’s been going into other areas of your body. Your lesson today is to defeat whoever is in that tunnel without Valkyrie taking a single click.”
Valt: “But that can’t be possible! If I’m trying to defeat an enemy, it’s going to take at least a couple click.”
Rantaro: “If you’re using all of your Bey Spirit towards Valkyrie, you can prevent it from taking any clicks. Ken, stay out here, and Valt and I will go check out what’s in the tunnel.”
*Ken nodded in agreement, and Valt and Rantaro went into the broken tunnel. The tunnel had turned darker than before, as some broken bricks blocked the light coming from the exit. The two heard footsteps as they walked deeper into the tunnel. Eventually, the man came into sight and launched his Bey. The Bey landed on top of a broken brick and tilted its layer down towards the brick, flinging sharp tiny pieces of brick towards the two*
Rantaro: “Valt! Get Valkyrie out and launch!”
*Valt got his launcher out quickly, and the two launcher their beys. Rising Ragnaruk deflected the attacks and Victory Valkyrie slammed Ragnaruk towards the Bey, still on the broken brick. The Beyblade started wobbling, and pushed Ragnaruk off the brick as soon as it came down towards the Bey*
Rantaro: “His face! It’s Killer Gabe! Which means this Beyblade is Gigant Gaia!”
*Gaia continued its attacks and slowly backed Valt and Rantaro into a corner*
Rantaro: “Valt! Now’s your time! Use what you’ve learned to take down Gabe!”
*Vallt nodded in agreement, and launched Victory Valkyrie. Gabe as well as again went into hiding, and Valt was lost on where Gabe went*
Rantaro (Whispering): “Valt, I see a shadow up ahead. He’s closed off the place he’s hidden into. You’ll have to try and send some Bey Spirit through the wall he’s made.”
Valt: “Why can’t you do it? I’m not sure I’ll be able to do something of that difficulty.”
Rantaro: “Because, Valt, it was a part of your training. I wouldn’t have trained you in a Bey Spirit if I hadn’t seen any potential in you, but I did. With every opponent you beat, you’ll grow stronger both in Bey Spirit and strength.”
Valt: “I guess you’re right. I’ve got to do this for my father. So I can take down Shu.”
*Valt readied his launcher towards the wall. He had to get in through a crack so he could send in as much Bey Spirit as he could. Valt then launched Victory Valkyrie into the wall as hard as he could*
Valt: “Valkyrie! Bey Spirit Absorption Overdrive!”
*Victory Valkyrie slammed into the wall. The wall conducted much of the Bey Spirit, and much of it went through the wall where Gabe was. Gabe had trapped himself in, so his attempt to escape was too slow. The Bey Spirit went through his right arm, and left a hole. The Bey Spirit bounced off the bricks where Gabe was trapped. Gabe tried to cover up his arm, but it was too late. His arm started to melt off and the remaining Bey Spirit went inside of his arm, burning him from the inside out and disintegrating him into ashes. Gaia was laying on a brick right beside the ashes, and a large brick fell onto Gaia, crushing it into pieces. Valt and Rantaro smashed the wall down and saw the remains of Gabe and Gaia*
Rantaro: “You did well, Valt. I have no doubt that if someone will be able to take down Shu, it will be you, Valt.”
Valt: “Thanks. We should probably go get Ken now that this is over.”
Rantaro: “Good idea.”
*The two traveled through the tunnel, and got Ken, who was still standing at the entrance. They walked through the tunnel, and were only a few minutes away from Ivanten*

I’m planning to make this go all the way to part 8 if I can. It’ll require me to have to get more original by making entire systems of new beys starting with part 6 but I really want to continue this crossover for as long as I can.

Essentially, yes, but they will be called bit beasts, since that’s technically the official name for them.

This crossover will not involve any metal fight characters, and unfortunately for your ideas I already have my pillar men decided, but thanks for the suggestion anyways.

Each part is going to represent a season from Beyblade Burst. This one represents season one. Valkyrie Tendency will represent season 2, so no Cho-Z, GT, or Sparking characters.
