It’s a great counter to most left spin combinations. Spicy yet actually pretty good. But how did he know he would go against a left spin combo? "Curse Hyperion Bearing 2D (Deck Format Finals Only)" Because it's Deck Format. Because in Deck Format, if your opponent wins a match, and you don't force a replay, they pick their bey (stick or switch) first, and then you pick your own bey, knowing full well exactly what the opponent is using and what spin it's in. That's right. In case you haven't read the Deck Format rules in any of the WBO rules formats, it's a first to 5 match. Bursts worth 2, KOs worth 1 or 2 depending on format (let's just say 1, assuming we're in burst standard). Each blader brings 3 beys with non-repeating parts. Bladers look over what the other has. Bladers select the first bey they're going to use in secret. Round 1, blader A outspins blader B. Blader A gets 1 point out of 5. Blader B is first presented the option of forcing a replay. If they take it, both bladers use the same beys in the next round. But let's assume they don't. Blader A now has to choose which of their 3 beys to use in the next match. They pick one of them, let's say Rage Longinus 3A, I'm not creative. Blader B now has to pick from one of their 3 beys. A can't change Rage at all now. Blader B, if they have Curse 2D in their deck, could very easily pick that to counter rage. Blader B wins the next match, outspin, the score is 1-1. Now A can choose the replay or not, and B selects a bey, and then A selects a bey. Whoever did not win the previous match gets an advantage in the following match. First to 5 points. Go for it. RE: Winning Combinations at WBO Organized Play Events - g2_ - Aug. 31, 2020 Thank you DeceasedCrab, I appreciate that. RE: Winning Combinations at WBO Organized Play Events - Ryuga......Win - Sep. 01, 2020 Hmm I think Rage On Generate and 1D would be cool but most Rage combo's are Rage Loninus 3A,Destroy/Quick/Evolution Also how do I see the battles RE: Winning Combinations at WBO Organized Play Events - DeceasedCrab - Sep. 01, 2020 (Aug. 21, 2020 4:32 PM)Mikuri Wrote: No one's talking about the Emperor Forneus. Very surprising to see it in the list. Now that I think about it, that almost can't be right. Squeenis, did you really make it to the finals using nothing but Emperor Forneus 0Cross Destroy' in the first stage? You had 4 wins, you can't seriously tell me they were all that Cho-Z era Emperor Forneus combo. :D Also, Ryuga......Win this is the wrong thread to speculate about non-tournament match winning combos like Rage 1A. If you want to see tournament matches, look for them in the Beyblade Videos thread. As I heard the rL one spins better than previous ones RE: Winning Combinations at WBO Organized Play Events - DeceasedCrab - Sep. 03, 2020 Folks, I get it. A lot of you are just confused. You read the words Winning Combinations at WBO Organized Play Events And somehow think to yourselves "Oh, this is a great place to post my combo ideas, instead of being a space for the combos that won matches for the top 3 bladers in tournaments, and the discussion of those combos." I don't know how you did, or why you did, but you did. Now, if we tell you "Hey, this thread isn't for your random combo ideas", and you continue to post random combo ideas here, that's when you get into trouble. Please, read. And if someone tells you not to post random combo ideas in this thread again, don't do it again. I used to use the clear cyan Ds' from Shelter Regulus, and I don't really detect any differences, save for a slight difference in the smoothness of the rotating piece on the driver (but this seems to be completely random and not at all attributed to the specific color/release of whatever it came on). Read my report to find out more about what parts were successful, how I prepared for the event, and how it was managed with consideration for COVID-19. Nice report Kei! I knew of that tempest combo beforehand but didn’t think that Rage would counter it well before me and Zankye tested it later. Can’t wait for JustinTC’s Birthday Bash this weekend. I don’t think we’ll be able to exactly shove anyone’s face into a cake like you did that one time with Mitsu on your birthday a while back, but I think it’ll be fantastic nonetheless. ![]() RE: Winning Combinations at WBO Organized Play Events - Kei - Sep. 18, 2020 Justin TC’s Birthday Bash - 9/13/20 Toronto, ON, Canada - Burst Format 1st: Kei Tempest Diabolos Wheel Xtend Plus 1S Tempest Diabolos Wheel Atomic 1S Brave Lucifer Evolution Dash 2A (Deck Format Finals Only) Mirage Fafnir Wheel Mobius 1S (Deck Format Finals Only) Rage Diabolos Xtreme’ 3A (Deck Format Finals Only) 2nd: originalzankye Tempest Solomon (Metal Chip Core) Xtend Plus 2A Brave Solomon (Metal Chip Core) Destroy Dash 2A 3rd: LuinorBlader Tempest Lucifer Wheel Destroy 1S Rage Fafnir Xtend Plus 2S (Deck Format Finals Only) I wrote a report for this event as well.
