It's not really a consideration for Standard, but it's good in Classic where it's not pushed down under heavy weights and doesn't have to worry about Xtend+ at all, and Bearing is super limited due to being TT only.

Also, Absorb is more controllable than you think.
I've also heard that the Nothing in this thing has a stronger spring to handle the heavier weights. Is this true, and if so how impactful is this?

Got mine today. Aestethically isn't as good as I thought it would be, it's small and the yellow is dull. Performance wise so far so good. Counter mode has massive r oil and can ko attackers

So from the Battles I've done Mirage Fafnir is pretty good in certain scenarios. It was able to somehow KO Master Bahamut Sting Xt+ defense mode on Nothing and in counter mode. I'll do some tests tomorrow and posts results in a Mirage Fafnir testing thread.

I would definitely say this is the best Fafnir, although it probably ties with drain for being the best of it's time (best Fafnir of its time)

That is only if Mirage Fafnir is top tier. We are still not sure whether or not we can make that claim yet, but testing will prove whether or not it is.

Exactly. Drain Fafnir was top tier for stamina/defense back in the day. I am hoping Mirage Fafnir will have a top tier status as well, but only time will tell with testing.
