RE: Questions about the WBO - Whatzzer - Dec. 17, 2011 http://worldbeyblade.org/Thread-Physics--24192 Here it is,LeonTempest. RE: Questions about the WBO - th!nk - Dec. 17, 2011 It is generally not something discussed as a separate issue, but as a component of other discussions, as "physics of spinning tops" is a very broad topic. Also, there aren't really that many people who have a solid enough understanding of physics to contribute to such a thread. I certainly don't, having dropped out of physics midway through my final year of high school because "it is boring, I suck at it, and I need more time to focus on things that don't suck, okay?" EDIT: Well, yeah there's that 3-post topic in the advanced forum, but that... doesn't really count as a general physics discussion, just an absolutely amazing post by Mc Frown. RE: Questions about the WBO - Hov - Dec. 17, 2011 I got a question, do advance have warning levels too? Liek if you have 30% or 50%, could you still stand a chance in the advance forums? Or do you have to get 0% and a positive contribution to the WBO and get into the advance forums? RE: Questions about the WBO - Ga' - Dec. 17, 2011 If moderators have warning levels, I'm pretty sure that advanced members would have them too. RE: Questions about the WBO - th!nk - Dec. 17, 2011 A warning level is not technically a block for veteran status, but it is indicative of behaviour that would need to be addressed thoroughly before that would occur. RE: Questions about the WBO - Kai-V - Dec. 17, 2011 (Dec. 17, 2011 5:03 PM)th!nk Wrote: EDIT: Well, yeah there's that 3-post topic in the advanced forum, but that... doesn't really count as a general physics discussion, just an absolutely amazing post by Mc Frown. Yo, there is that six-page topic in the Beywiki Project forum with exactly the same title : http://worldbeyblade.org/Thread-Physics RE: Questions about the WBO - Primal - Dec. 17, 2011 Would there be a point in having a 'Random Thoughts about the WBO' thread? It could have the same purpose as Beyblade Random Thoughts, but have people post their thoughts about the site. For example: WBO Member Wrote:I'm really excited about the Face Contests! Hope I win at least one of them. Then again, some of the posts there could probably belong in the Organized Play Random Thoughts or Make your suggestions threads, but we could probably cut down on that if we tried. RE: Questions about the WBO - Hov - Dec. 17, 2011 Lol yah, I miss those threads. Its better than having seperate off topic threads when they all belong to the Random Thoughts Thread. =/. Are we going to have it again or is it going to be locked forever? RE: Questions about the WBO - th!nk - Dec. 17, 2011 (Dec. 17, 2011 5:23 PM)Kai-V Wrote:(Dec. 17, 2011 5:03 PM)th!nk Wrote: EDIT: Well, yeah there's that 3-post topic in the advanced forum, but that... doesn't really count as a general physics discussion, just an absolutely amazing post by Mc Frown. Skipped my memory, though I should have searched. Anyways, the Beywiki Project forum doesn't seem to be the most sensible place for it, seeing as it isn't really working towards an article any more, given Nic isn't really around that much (though, it's a good target, if a very hefty one)... Maybe it would be an idea to move it to general discussion, or create a thread for it there? RE: Questions about the WBO - Primal - Dec. 17, 2011 Whoa, since when did you become an Advanced Member? Grats, leprechaun Also, J o n, I didn't really have the idea of the general Random Thoughts thread in mind; those were closed because they eventually became too SPAMmy. Something like this would *hopefully* be more well-managed and have posts pertaining to the topic. RE: Questions about the WBO - th!nk - Dec. 17, 2011 As of about 3 seconds ago, seeing as your post was what made me notice, and I thought it was a joke until I checked. I would actually think a "WBO Random Thoughts" would be a useful idea, especially seeing as a lot of people get confused and post that sort of thing in Beyblade Random Thoughts. RE: Questions about the WBO - Hazel - Dec. 17, 2011 The problem with that is that it has a similar problem to managing the old Random Thoughts thread - people will inevitably entirely ignore what they should be posting there. RE: Questions about the WBO - Primal - Dec. 17, 2011 Right, but where doesn't that happen? Not trying to be sarcastic, but I see at least three posts a day that have absolutely no connection to the thread. I understand where you're coming from, though. RE: Questions about the WBO - Hazel - Dec. 17, 2011 It's a lot more ambiguous, though, than Beyblade Random Thoughts and such. RE: Questions about the WBO - Toto Sakigami - Dec. 19, 2011 What's the Beyrank? RE: Questions about the WBO - Hazel - Dec. 19, 2011 It is your ranking amongst the WBO's Bladers, based on points accumulated/detracted based on performance in WBO-hosted tournaments. Use the search function for more information. RE: Questions about the WBO - Mickey - Dec. 19, 2011 It's right under the banner with the name "BeyPoints". If you still can't find it: http://worldbeyblade.org/match_rank.php RE: Questions about the WBO - Arupaeo - Dec. 19, 2011 Going to the help section first wouldn't hurt either. RE: Questions about the WBO - twisted leone - Dec. 19, 2011 how do you make a spoiler RE: Questions about the WBO - Ga' - Dec. 19, 2011 Click Help, then MyCode for your answer. Or just search beforehand, this questions has already been answered previously. RE: Questions about the WBO - Lord L-Drago - Dec. 19, 2011 Okay I have a question, how eaxaclty does a roudn robin work, I read over the description in the offical format about 10 times but STILL don't get it, I think I just don't comprehend the way that it is worded, if someone could reply with simply the description of a round robin realtively basic please. RE: Questions about the WBO - Ga' - Dec. 19, 2011 Or you could just look it up on Google or somewhere similar: http://www.answers.com/topic/round-robin First one. RE: Questions about the WBO - Lord L-Drago - Dec. 19, 2011 (Dec. 19, 2011 4:30 AM)GaHooleone Wrote: Or you could just look it up on Google or somewhere similar: Ooooh okay so it is sort of for example A battles B, A battles C and B battles C ? RE: Questions about the WBO - Kai-V - Dec. 19, 2011 The Event Guide is very clear ... "Each Blader is to BeyBattle each other Blader once." If you cannot understand it, perhaps you do not have the logistics to be a judge or host yet. RE: Questions about the WBO - TimelessOne - Dec. 20, 2011 How come ♥ isn't a mod anymore? |
