Fingers crossed!

DGrin looks like a robot of sort.

RE: BB-114 Vari Ares D:D - Chups - Jun. 12, 2011

I don't know what to Think. I think TT is trying to Mirror the Gimmickness of the Plastic/HMS Era which is what some of our BeyHearts have been mourning for. I'm extremely interested how this Turns out.

Its hardly even HWS anymore. The MW - Wow another Escolpio.....yay... Lips_sealed.

The D: D is very Weird. I think it could be Sort of useful if it works. Meh maybe not. VERSATILITY WIN.

:?

RE: BB-114 Vari Ares D:D - Ultra - Jun. 12, 2011

@chubs if they are trying to mimic the gimmicks of the plastic and hms series then they should make a bearing core already. Who cares about a dranzer f bottom!

RE: BB-114 Vari Ares D:D - ControL_ - Jun. 12, 2011

To me it looks like D:D can be tuned with a finger to a different mode, through spinning it it should lock into position in eithr F/WB/S?

The whole thing looks very advanced even for 4D.

Agreed, hopefully we see that soon.

As for Vari Ares, I'm hoping that there is going to be a locking mechanism. The extra weight of this bey, when compared to a Dranzer F, would make this bottom be one that could wear easily.

RE: BB-114 Vari Ares D:D - th!nk - Jun. 12, 2011

Why do you all want a Bearing Core? Zombies were a pain to deal with, and pretty boring. Uncertain

RE: BB-114 Vari Ares D:D - Serotonin - Jun. 12, 2011

you'll all be sorry when it comes out

RE: BB-114 Vari Ares D:D - BeyFan - Jun. 12, 2011

Hmm, optimistic...or pessimistic? I mean, am I meant to take that as a threat or as a warning? XD

RE: BB-114 Vari Ares D:D - Kujikato - Jun. 12, 2011

Why???? and seriously, Why would Vari Ares be such a fail? look at that thing!

RE: BB-114 Vari Ares D:D - Ultra - Jun. 12, 2011

Pretty sure he was talking about a bearing core for MFB.

RE: BB-114 Vari Ares D:D - Annoying-Fork - Jun. 12, 2011

An ES-based 4D bottom will be weird as hell.

RE: BB-114 Vari Ares D:D - Azlanslayer - Jun. 12, 2011

Sorry if I'm late. Thanks Kai-V for the Always Updated UPDATE!!!! Grin.

Vari Ares is indescribable. The sheer awesomeness from this Design/Beyblade is WHOOOAAA. (I'm starting to sound like Kungfu Panda xD). I know this comment isn't needed, i guess we all is going to predict this is going to be an Attack Bey, to beat Basalt (Yay). I guess Takara Tomy realized Basalt is still dominating the metagame and they wanted 4D to be Attack Oriented (or at least it is). D : D for me is kind of cool, the locking system kind of makes (Sharp Mode) to Wide Defense, who knows? D : D could be a Top-Tier bottom, you will never know till you try it ya? However, being in the safe side, i'm going to wait till this is tested Tongue_out.

RE: BB-114 Vari Ares D:D - Dan - Jun. 12, 2011

1. We have many combinations to beat Basalt.
2. If you mean exclusively 4D attack beys; Beat and Fang do really well against most, if not all Basalt combinations.

Anyway, I generally agree with what you said.

RE: BB-114 Vari Ares D:D - Raigeko13 - Jun. 12, 2011

Yeah, agreed. Hopefuly Vari Ares will pose a threat to Basalt...
But if it can beat Basalt easily then wouldn't that make it the new "king" of the metagame?
Speechless carp.

RE: BB-114 Vari Ares D:D - Chups - Jun. 12, 2011

We dont have a 'King' of the Metagame, at the Moment it is Very if not Perfectly Balance. But I do see where you are coming from.

RE: BB-114 Vari Ares D:D - funkyblader - Jun. 13, 2011

i can't believe this bey only has three parts...
but i'm likin the design!

RE: BB-114 Vari Ares D:D - taz465 - Jun. 13, 2011

im getting it no matter what even if it has bad performance im getting it!

This.
Total Metagame meltdown will occur (especially if it's rubber tipped).

RE: BB-114 Vari Ares D:D - FrenchFrieZ® - Jun. 13, 2011

I think Vari Ares would be a great recoil/smash attack wheel due to it's spikes and protrutions
D : D can move side to side and convert either Flat, Wide ball, or sharp, it could eiher be a 4D bottom or a bottom

probably, that will happen and we may regret getting so excited.

also it may have unbelievable bad balance on S angled. just an idea MF-H Basalt Kerbecs D:D, with S angled, TBH i would be frightened to rip it

WB on this may be useful tho

RE: BB-114 Vari Ares D:D - Raigeko13 - Jun. 13, 2011

I'm just hoping that the plastic on F, WB, and S will be SOMEWHAT stronger than Dranzer F's plastic tips. That thing broke so easily it isn't even funny to me.
And a 4D bearing core bey?
Oh god.
MF Basalt Bull B:C (Bearing Core)
Why have the bey gods forsaken us?!

RE: BB-114 Vari Ares D:D - Mc Frown - Jun. 13, 2011

Gravity Perseus and a rubber tip would be worse.

RE: BB-114 Vari Ares D:D - Kai-V - Jun. 14, 2011

There will be an extremely rare recolour called "Blue Phantom Ver.", which we will highly likely never see at all, unfortunately. Not even on Yahoo! Japan Auctions ...

Furthermore, the character who owns this Beyblade is called King. There was already a King in Beyblade 2002 though ...

RE: BB-114 Vari Ares D:D - RustyXD - Jun. 14, 2011

Any Ideas how the recolour will be released? and it looks quite cool .

Thanks for the news Kai-V
