Ok so turns out I skipped some chapters in the middle, which makes sense now that I'm thinking of it. About "making it more appealing", it's appealing already, I just needed (and still need) to catch up a lil bit (and re-read it, it has been some time). Also write as you like, I'm not THAT important to single-handed change your plot.
