All I can think of when I hear Bound Savior is some knight guy that’s all tied up with a rope. Not something that should be an attack
The move is not called bound savior. I don't know if you guys noticed, but all Beyblade moves end with a noun/verb used in the verb form. "Savior" is not a verb. An attack that is named after a noun is not an attack. (Except for Turbo Sword, as that's kind of Beyblade exclusive.) Let us replace rush launch with Rush Blue and gold Horse. That would make them look like an idiot, and the move would be renamed by the fans.

I dont think there is any point in discussing about the name any more. Its just a waste of time. I personally believe that there has been a mix up as the katakana is same for both the words. But the official box says Savior so we need to accept it and move on.
Lets discuss about the bey instead not the name as this is a product thread

I think Savior Rebound could have been a much better name. On a separate note; Even though I’ve been kinda hating on shot, I kinda hope it does well. The gimmick seems fun and unique, but it’s just seems like it’ll be inconsistent and drain out stamina from the bey. Shot Vs Shot battles will be interesting, just like volcanic vs volcanic battles.
I wonder what hasbro will call the driver. The definitely won’t call it shot, that’s for sure.

Really? Are you sure about that? The only thing that was reveal was Sh driver gimmick , that it jump and make super upper attacks with jump. And after accelerate. This what was showed in advertisement. But Savior gimmick they didn't show. But it also have more gimmick than Bomb gimmick

Well they left Bullet alone, so maybe it will still be called Shot. Yet again, they have been weird with names lately (Zoning, Zephyry, Revolving, etc.)

The difference is that all of these drivers end on a less aggressive mode, and have shapes built smooth and round for LAD. This isn't the case for Shot, which ends on a more aggressive mode and adds extra height when activated that makes it easier to destabilize and hurts LAD. This isn't an issue with these other drivers, and that added height in particular is a huge disadvantage.
Hybrid and Ignition' both excel in same spin, so LAD isn't a huge issue. Generate isn't the greatest in theory, but its aggressive anti-staller movement, less aggressive end step, and sufficient LAD make it usable in Limited in particular. What is Shot gonna do? Lose spin early then try to stall late so it's not winning same spin easily as a purely plastic tip? Fail in LAD being so tall? Shot just lacks a win condition compared to other tips, including it's fused predecessors, short of landing on top of a for.
I really hope Big Bang Pegasus has shot and not ultimate Reboot, because shot is effectively reboot but with Pegasus’s special move. Also L-drago is sure to have generate, so since they’re meant to mirror each other it would be nice for them both to have the only not electric disk-driver combos (other than infinity)

Ultimate Reboot is the exact same gimmick that Final Drive has, it wouldn't make any sense at all for Big Bang Pegasus to have Shot, the Shot driver would make more sense for a release that actually had a jumping gimmick similar to it.

Ultimate Reboot is the exact same gimmick that Final Drive has, it wouldn't make any sense at all for Big Bang Pegasus to have Shot, the Shot driver would make more sense for a release that actually had a jumping gimmick similar to it.
I remember when Ultimate Reboot was out, and people were making comparisons to Final Drive, appropriately so.
If Shot had a dish on the driver, it would be good for a theoretical Cyber Dragoon remake, which had a jumping gimmick.

Anyway I should give my thoughts on this new Valkyrie.
The new layer looks great, I'll admit that I kinda disliked the "spikier" design at first, when looking at the silhouette, but it has grown on me and now it makes sense with the awakening gimmick. The chip is absolutely gorgeous and easily one of my favourite DB chip. The idea of the chip turning any layer base into a bound gimmick, while useless is really cool. I haven't got much to say for the weight, honestly.
The Driver is very interesting gimmick wise, like I mentioned, it sorta reminds me of Cyber Dragoon's jumping gimmick in a sense that the jump can be activated mid battle. Competitively it looks completely useless, but it could be very fun nevertheless. I will say that I don't like the way it looks, I think for Valkyrie, this is a bit too round and bulky looking, whereas most Valkyrie's had a more sleek look, even Ul to a certain extent.
[Valkyrie] core: built-in spring, so that any blade installed can move slightly horizontally
[Saviour] blade: As the rubber blade wears out, new attack blades gradually appear, "Awakening"!

i hoe shot isnt bad tbh. i could see the layer being viable, but definitely not the driver. there was always that gimmicky starter of each season choz was revive, gt was diabolos, sparking was variant, and now is valkyrie. i think revive was the only good one out of the bunch, but thats just me idk

tbf shot would always be the one of unique drivers with absurd gimmicks, which it makes sense to where the layer being usable for comp/deck building
but from a casual standpoint, it might as well be a bey that could jump high (possibly deal attacks from above)
