Yes this show will be amazing! Who cares about all the filler they had in Journeys we’re finally getting what we deserve and it’s a full set of returning Pokémon, and a full set of returning characters. I also love the whole travelling part with Leon but I hope it’s not just for the opening and they actually do it in the anime.

They made Iris kinda annoying when she kept saying kid every 5 seconds but besides that she's a very enjoyable character.
Can’t wait for Iris and Leon to have an episode with them in it.

A problem I have with Journeys is that lots of Pokemon caught are practically never used again. Ash has a full team but pretty much only uses Pikachu, Lucario, Dragonite, and now Farfetch'ed. What really pisses me off is that he's neglecting a Gengar with trauma due to being neglected, but I doubt they'll touch on that. With Goh, it's pretty much the same, he has like 4 go to Pokemon. It's kind of worse with him though since he has so many Pokemon, and so many of them will never amount to anything substantial in the story.
Here's how I would create the next Pokemon Season. This should go without saying, but obviously include Ash. The Pokemon Anime is an entirely different series without him.
1. Region(s)
I would certainly confine it to one region. Journeys being multi season causes a huge mess and brings up lots of problems that make it a lot less enjoyable for me to watch.
2. Main Cast
I would go back to the 3-4 character formula, but 2 protagonists isn't bad in concept. With Goh I feel like there's a lot to be desired and he has a few flaws to work out, but you could certainly make him a good second protagonist, or anyone for that matter.
3. Tone
I think a more mature one would be the way to go. Not anything extreme, but just like Diamond and Pearl for XY/Z. It's still pretty fun at it's core and it can still handle more mature topics, and that ends up bringing good development for our main characters, which I enjoy.
4. Animation
XY/Z and Sun and Moon both had amazing animation throughout. Journey's has it's moments, but it's certainly not keeping up with the quantity. I think it would be nice if they got some Sakuga Animators, people who specialize in creating really good animation, and make another series with really good animation throughout. They've done it before, so it shouldn't be to big of a task.
5. Designs
I think settling for something like Diamond and Pearl would be best. It's a natural evolution of the first designs but isn't to crazy to work with.

Tomorrow's episode is about Darkrai, and next weeks is about Cresselia. The week after that, the anime should be returning to Alola for at least an episode.

I feel like this needs to be talked about Goh catching Suicune with one Pokeball first of all it's a Pokeball the chances of catching a legendary with a Pokeball are very low but possible but the thing that makes me madder is that he used only one Pokeball and caught it like first of all the chances of this happening are lower than finding a shiny pokemon in the wild without a shiny charm and Suicune doesn't even stay with he's just off purifying lakes but I seriously feel like what they should've done is save Suicune then Suicune wants to stay with Goh but no, it's anime logic
