Shu couldn't change Lean as a good guy.
So what I think, Shu hasn't become evil. He's acting like a bad guy so he could change Lean xD
I know it is a weird theory.

Maybe Hyuga and Hikaru can actually beat them. They are main characters so they can technically beat the antagonist.

I wanted Valt and Shu to be partners so bad.

Tbh no; Rantaro has always been a better friend in my opinion; Also i think valt delibrately did not ask shu as he knew that shu would want to partner with lean to show him the fun aspect of beyblade.

I’m sorry to hear that you didn’t get the outcome you wanted but honestly, I’m not really upset. Finally Valt’s real best friend is going to be his partner.

People have their different thoughts on that, but I wanted that duo. I really believe those two are truly best friends. No disrespect to Rantaro. Valt and Shu together are quite the powerhouse.

Do people not think before writing stuff? I get if you are joking, but seriously, stop pointing at every character and go “Is he going evil”? “Is he going to have dark resonance”? This is literally just another way for Shu to teach the boy about beyblade.... or to at least stop him from being consumed by his own flare.

Pretty happy with all the pairings. Valt and Rantaro is simply awesome as Rantaro has always been there for Valt when he was the protagonist (Valt and Shu would have been awesome too). Aiga and Ranjiro for the same reason. Apparently, Lui considered Drum worthy (because that's probably the word Lui would use) after that single tag battle. Also, those two have kinda rubbed off on each other (notice how Lui presses his face close to Drum and Drum's maniacal laughter). Free and Sisco are two strong BC Sol bladers (also the staff probably realised Sisco losing to Free isn't funny anymore and didn't want Sisco defeating Free either so just paired them up). Hikaru and Hyuga being paired is the only reason this tournament arc is happening in the first place. Shu and Lane is pretty interesting as well. Shu is probably trying to change Lane by fighting alongside him as fighting against him only made the situation worse. Also, Shu's probably the only one willing to put up with Lane.

I have to agree with you there 100%. Shu was treated as Valt's "best friend" who shoves him one day because he wants to be the best. That alone makes me place Rantaro above Shu for Valt's friends list.

I know I just watched the episode and I’m going crazy. He doesn’t look like he wants to just “teach” lane the right way. And the shocked expressions on valt and rantaro justifies it. My favorite sparking episode so far.

If your talking about his turn to Red Eye, there was a lot more to that whole situation.

Don’t really think you should even assume that until we see the next episode. I mean who knows it seems pretty promising that shu is going red eye. But I can’t make assumptions

I think it's highly unlikely that he's going Red Eye. There's really no evidence to support that.

This was, in my opinion, a pretty boring episode that I'll be skipping if I rewatch Sparking. It was basically Hyuga, Hikaru, and all of the legends picking a tag team partner. I get that animes have filler episodes, but this was probably one of the most boring fillers I've ever watched, and that's saying something since I've seen Naruto. Alright, time for me to quit ranting and continue reviewing the episode. Rantaro and Valt teaming up was something I expected, same with Ranjiro and Aiga and Hyuga and Hikaru. Lane and Shu was a little surprising, and that was probably the highlight of the episode for me. I feel that Drum and Lui were just forced to team up to get both of them into the tag team tournament, but we'll see how that goes.
Overall, if you really like fillers, this episode is for you. I'd give it a 3/10.

Dante and Lui have great synergy and were a popular duo in the Festival. They also are both Dragon bladers.

Silas and Free? I guess that was good. But man was Rantaro crying so much lol
