I think that's by virtue of the bladers he was facing in Sparking being stronger, not the move being weaker.

everything wears down with time. I'd say about a maybe 10-20 thousand battles to be fast atk driver flat(though it would probably be broken by then). My first plastic only driver(press, had for 3-4 years) is a bit worn, but it's nothing major. Attack drivers wear down way faster, My Destroy-s, Jaggy, etc. shapes have changed(not insanely, but still for the better). I got Destroy-s about a year ago, but Leopard is my favorite attack stock, so....
