Dude, they nerfed sparking so much dude.

Remember in the dub version when Aiga said "The bond that we share, it won't be destroyed ever!"

Seriously, comparing to when he said that, it's like he's not even trying to win.

Same with Valt. In his battle against evil Shu, compared to now. He's not even trying.

Think about Drum. Drum vs Gwyn was one of the most epic battles in burst. In sparking Drum isn't even winning at all.

I ust don't like this.

Im so mad at Sparking.
Dude what is the point of Shu even battling Lane if Lane said himself that he has reached the limit for his flare meaning that after the battle with Valt?

To be fair what did you think was going to happen? They can’t be invincible and the only balanced way for a burst series to progress is for everyone in a generic character archetype to lost consistently save for the antagonist. All in all the entire concept of sparking would have to be altered for this to have been avoided.

They could've nerfed them. BUT NOT THAT MUCH.
Sadly, they did this so they could make lane overpowered.

Lane would lose to all of them if they kept their OG strenghts.
This entire argument has gotten very old and stupid. I honestly agree with the points Zeutron made, the legends can win every now and then but they need to lose at some point (yes!! including Valt!) in order for the story to progress. Tbh Lanes victory over Valt was a satisfying way to end the festival.

Also why can't people just get over the fact Valt lost and accept it and move on? I mean its been nearly a week, and people are STILL complaining?! Hilarious.

Valt has been training for 5 years. To lose to a rookie.

Yeah,I mean the writers decided that the legends shouldn't use their full power.
Sparking was exciting but no it is a disaapointment

I've already seen 31, mate, and none of what y'all are talking about happened in that episode. Just Helios/Hyperion breaking and like, 30 seconds of Valt losing the first round against Lane.

Edit: Nvm I'm big dumb

So, I just checked aaaaand... you're completely right. KissAnime lied to me...  Argh!

Not only that its not like this hasnt happen in any type of anime. I didnt see that much heat For aiga who beat lui to take not only his national title but also the asian title, plus valt lost to aiga despite aiga being a rookie compare yo both lui And valt Who already got 3yrs of training. Cause ive seem the 5 years argument thing it doesnt matter if you have 1 million years of training if the plot requires it you'll lose. The legends weren't nerfed lane Just got buff the same way gwynn got buff in only few episode to be stronger the delta And drum Who both comes from a place where valt, free, sisco And Rantaro are from. Didnt see fans go that heated ok gwynn For that. Its simple lane is the new antigonist like all antigonist his gonna get buff to look like a threat. Whether we like it or not
Bruh when Shu battles Lane its gonna have no meaning. If Lane has already reached the peak of his flare then whats the whole point of Shu stopping Lane's Flare. He could have done the before
I did not know sparking was a character i think it should be buffed to a tier lol jk jk.
Sparking is trash now but not the beys just the anime.
Sparking is trash because lane now is technically stronger than everybody.
Wow takara you messed up big time.

Lane main target was always shu him reaching his peak was always part of his plan thats why he said Shu when my flare reach its max i'll throw everything at you until then we wont see each other . He literally said it  lane has a personal thing with shu its simple
Aiger still is trying to win. That was talking about the bond they share. He wanted more speed with no armor, but didnt have the power to break through the barrier due to that.

Valt vs Red Eye has alot more personal stakes than Valt vs random strong purple guy. Either way it would make nosense from a plot standpoint for Valt to win that match.

Dante vs Gwyn was epic, but thats a terrible example. Dante lost almost all of his battle with Gwyn lmao. Either way with the match ups hes going against, it completely makes sense why he would lose. When he bursted to Hyuga, he was hit with 1A. Thats a completely different build compared to Super and an un expected hit. He won all of his other matches. Wow. Aiger beating Dante obviously makes sense.
And Dante was the worst protagonist even Hikaru and Hyuga are better than drum

Valt is by miles the best

And AIGER is the 2nd best

I just started re-watching beyblade burst with like Ken, and Ukio, and Rantaro, and Zac and I’m getting so nostalgic right now. I want Valt to lose miserably just so we can make him protagonist again, man I love Valt as a protagonist. He’s so cool.
