Despite the Base's shape resembling Wyvern, the width of the gaps between the blades creates noticeable recoil, making Rock unsuitable for Defense combinations. This problem is further exacerbated by the aforementioned reduction of teeth length Defense Bases create. So even with Gatinko Chips with strong teeth, such as Dragon, Rock combinations are severely Burst prone.

==Overall==
Despite the Base's shape, Rock has too much recoil for Defensive purposes, even with Gatinko Chips with strong teeth, leaving it outclassed by previous Layers such as Archer Hercules and Hell Salamander.

As such, Rock is recommended for collection purposes only.

Rock's really bad? That's kind of upsetting considering it's the best looking one of them all. Welp, I guess the same was said for S2 and then we found out the hard way.

Seems that Rock in the Dragon Layer Chip seems to have Dragon Bursting more than Grand.

Well Grand is pretty circular, so I don't think that's surprising. Still disappointed that Rock isn't decent, at the very least.
