I wanted to confirm if young children can participate in the tournament (ages 6 and 8)? Also, do accompanying parents need to purchase tickets as well?

Yes, all ages are welcome!

As for accompanying parents: I am not 100% sure, but I think that everyone entering the convention will need a ticket (as the ticket is not just for our tournament, but for entry into the convention venue and access to all the other activities happening that day). You should try contacting Anime Shogatsu staff to confirm: http://animeshogatsu.com/contact-us/

Also, if you haven't already please be sure to create accounts for both children and have them click the "Join Tournament" button at the top of the page. It's important information for us to help prepare for the tournament and if we hit 40 confirmed participants they can give us more room at the convention. Thanks!

Yes you can use takara tomy beys, you may also use hasbro, but you may not use fakes and you must not mix hasbro and takara beys (example: hasbro layer + hasbro/takara tomy disk + hasbro tip = legal, hasbro layer + hasbro/ takara tomy disk + takara tomy tip = illegal. Same with takara tomy layer + hasbro/takara tomy disks + hasbro tip = illegal. The only parts that are allowed to be mixed are the disks.)

The admission for 3 people would be $60 ($20 X 3 =$60) keep in mind the tournement is technically free since you are not paying to play in the tournement, you are paying to get into the venue. This means that you still get to explore the convention even if you don’t or can’t participate.

Sorry, not for sale as it isn't on my list. That picture is just from the package when I received it ... I kept some stuff for myself of course (including Left αpollos and Right αrtemis).

I am taking my son to the tournament. He is very excited. He was confused as to why in the rules it said that battles start with "3,2,1 Go Shoot!" instead of "3,2,1 Let it Rip!" like in the shows... Anyone know why?
