*Dark Deathscyther Down Cycle vs Valkyrie Gravity Xtreme
D2DCy: 16 (12 SF, 4 BF)
VGX: 4 (4 KO)
Draw: 0
*Picked D2 for its awesome defense and stamina, capability of exploiting angular attacks provided by Cycle, and also because its slightly unbalanced. Picked Down for similarity to Knuckle and a lower center of gravity.

Kudos to TT for this awesome driver. It can effectively block attacks from a wide variety of angles, and this matchup was an absolute joy to watch. I've never been this excited witnessing spin finishes over and over again.

Benchmark:Dark Deathscyther Down Orbit vs Valkyrie Gravity Xtreme
D2DO: 16 (13 SF, 3 BF)
VGX: 3 (3 KO)
Draw: 1 (VGX BF, D2DO KO)

I'd say Cycle is comparable to Orbit, although the latter is more resistant to KO.

D2DR: 13 (11 SF, 2 BF)
VGX: 7 (5 KO, 2 BF)

Special thanks to @[NEET no Kami] for the following tests:

WSCy vs V2GX
WSCy: 6 (6OS)
V2GX:  4 (1BF, 2KO, 1OS)

K2GCy vs V2GX
K2GCy: 8 (6OS, 1BF, 1KO)
V2GX:    2 (1BF, 1OS)

notes

tried it on neptune, didn't work very well.

it works well on polish for some very minor LAD but still better than on spread.

If Cy was circle, instead of having a H145 shape, it would have been even better.

MHX Vs D2Cy
MHX:     5 (4BF, 1OS)
D2HCy: 5 (4OS, 1BF)

Victory Valkyrie Gravity Xtreme Vs Lost Longinus Heavy Cycle
V2GX: 4 (2 SF, 2 KO)

Summary:
Cycle is a pretty unique driver. It doesn't have a lot of stamina due to scraping, and may lead to more frequent bursts as it increases contact with the opposing bey with its gyroscope-esque movement pattern. Therefore, it is generally not recommended to use it with layers that have minimum burst resistance, which includes most dual layers and even B2. However, it may be used as a defensive driver on layers such as D2, L2, K2 and Wyvern, and any battles involving this driver is definitely a joy to watch. While it pales in comparison with Orbit as Orbit can avoid the problem of losing a lot of stamina through scraping, I personally consider this a worthy purchase.
Could you try Deathscyther.Heavy.Cycle vs Valkyrie.Heavy.Xtreme please
If possible can you try some 2 same layer and disk setup with Revolve and Cycle and compare em?

I'm happy it's atleast good for defence lol

Added solo spin time tests of DH_ with Cycle, Revolve, Weight and Claw.
Thanks for your tests, Bastillon! Would you mind doing a benchmark with the same attack type against D2DS or D2DR? Since you used D2, I'm not convinced the Driver contributed much more to the overall combo's defense.

And like FIREFIRE requested, a mirrored matchup between Revolve and Cycle would be great.

Added. Do note that my layers are slightly worn, so don't take my word for it on this one.
And here we see the key problem with Cycle. Anything that goes on it must be incredibly burst resistant to compensate for its frequent contact with the opposing bey.

I don't have a duplicate layer to do so.
I love the cycle driver. It's off balance effect and its inability to lose balance makes it great for attack whilst having stamina

While Cycle is not the prime contributor to the combo's defense, I expect it to be a good destabilizer and deflector. Added results.
Thank you for the tests. Smile

Mind if I add these results to the OP as well?
Never really considered K2 on Cy... perhaps it was the "stamina type" label that fooled me at first. I'll try it out later this weekend.

Updated with K2HCy tests.
As you may see, Cycle isn't exactly good at defense as well. Then what does it excel in? Surprisingly, it's counterattack. Remember that "shield crash" move in the anime? Orbit was sadly, too slow to make this happen. Cycle, on the other hand, outright smashes into the opposing bey. I've quite frankly never seen K2 get this many bursts in a 20 round match, especially against V2. Looking forward to test it on B2 as well.
Updated with L2HCy tests, and added summary.
Will be doing defense tests next week. The general combos would be D2/K2/L2 Heavy/Spread/Gravity/Knuckle/Down Cycle, against Orbit, Claw, Press and Needle combos.
