This is exactly what they did for MFB — Metal System launched with blister packaging almost identical to the Burst blister packs, and then switched to boxes for the anime launch.

I guess because, with a brand new product, they want you to be able to see it more, to be able to figure out what it is if you are new to the series. And then, with the new system and for the bulk of series, they go to the cheaper packaging to make more money
They look cool either way. I honestly don't care if they wrap em up in old bubble wrap and throw em at me. Lol. I can't wait to play with them!

Pretty sure you nailed the rationale. Blister packs are way more expensive.

It is mostly normal that there are leaks, yes. TAKARA-TOMY is honestly too uptight sometimes.

D2 looks wild. I'm ready.

W2 looks like it could be really good for defense, and maybe even attack. Hard to say, since these are just sillhouettes, but that's the impression I'm getting.

D2 just looks awesome, can't wait to see it fully.

Wild Wyvern looks quite similar (in terms of the stickers) and the layer does have somewhat of a resemblance to the old Wyvern layer (except with more crooked spikes).

Dark Deathscyther looks amazing, it reminds me so much of the original Deathscyther (which is my favourite layer) so I'm excited for this. I really hope that it has a Driver with a metal flat (I seriously hope they down give D2 Accel or Assault because that would be boring) but we'll have to wait and see.

I think that Jeir Jormugand will be released as starter on 24-26 december 2016.
Probably his owner is the blader whit light blue hair.

Not sure if it's been mentioned already, but this month's CoroCoro contained sticker sheets for Victory Valkyrie, Storm Spriggan, Kaiser Kerbeus and Rising Ragnaruk in alternate colours, as well as stickers of the seven main characters and two BeyLogger inserts as well. I'll scan those in later with the manga chapter.

Too bad the quality of the stickers were horrible. They were printed on paper and not the usual quality plastic

I can only import 2 times per year to my country, thanks to that I would only be able to buy beyblades 1 time this year (without asking help to friends or relatives) because I need to buy other things that would come in another package

Any info may change WHEN and WHAT I will buy

And the idea of a Jormungand based bey has me REALLY interested
