i'd gladly do it!
While I am anticipating Metal XS's release, I honestly think that MFB's overall design is superior to that of Metal XS. That's not to say they don't look good though! Perhaps I just prefer how simple the design of MFB is, relative to Metal XS at least.

MFB is definitely more simplistic and technical in its design. It was a conscious decision for us to go in a more organic, detailed direction. I don't think we would have gained anything by doing a style similar to Beyblade because then we will just be seen as copiers. It was better for us to go in a completely different direction, even if some people may not like it as much, as I'm sure a lot of kids will like this more "alive" style more.

I really like the new designs I'm seeing, and from the looks of things Metal XS is going to be a lot nicer.

I haven't gotten to play with them at all, but based on the old Strikers, I've heard from a friend that they're rather uncontrollable. Has the size reduction helped with this?

Also is there still the potential issue of another's controllers affecting your Striker?

Yeah, I definitely don't disagree with the reasoning behind this more detailed design direction. I wouldn't be surprised if it appealed more to children. It would be interesting to present both an Metal XS Striker and an MFB to a child and see which they preferred, based solely on it's design.

EDIT: LOL, I was mostly referring to pre-HWS, but the Metal Wheels themselves are still simple.

Anyone who says the original line is hard to control doesn't know what they are doing. It is not hard. That said, Metal XS is easier to control for sure.

As for the other player interfering with your Striker ... yes, it is possible. Because of the physical involvement in the game it's possible for something like that to happen, but it's obviously against the rules. Many games and sports manage to exist despite there being vagaries so I don't see it as an issue.
Ah, I was more concerned with the smaller size of Metal XS compared to the older Strikers meaning the controller was somehow "more" powerful.

I actually like the design of the latest Strikers, though I have to admit some of it is... "little kid" flashy for me. Like Ninjutsu, that little ninja star... it bugs me haha. I really like it despite that, and Scimitar as well however. I've decided to pick them up if I see 'em.

Have you guys considered a web comic of sorts? It seems even Magic The Gathering has dabbled a bit in that with their recent Planeswalkers campaign, and the way the Strikers are looking, it would probably be pretty interesting. Even if it's just a few strips of neat fantasy match ups and "mystery" Striker owners duking it out for a panel or two with no real finish.

Like Scimitar versus Ninjutsu or something.
I like the idea of a webcomic actually. Thanks.

The controller is more powerful. The magnet in the core is also more powerful.

Are you talking about the series 1 Ninjutsu or the Metal XS Ninjitsu?

(i am not responsible for the name. i said this was going to happen!!)
Er, the Series 1 Ninjutsu I believe. I haven't seen Ninjitsu yet actually :3

I believe Poison Serpent is a travesty >>

Have you guys considered reverse polarity for the magnets or some sort?
I've talked about reverse polarity. I want to do a special release with it, sort of like L-Drago has left spin. I haven't talked anyone into it yet though LOL

Metal XS Ninjitsu is on the teaser page.
where's the teaser page is it in this thread what page?
Just be sure not to turn it into a sort of anime/manga because I think that's what makes it unique!

We definitely won't do it. Like I said before, any time we do something we have to think about it relative to Beyblade. We don't want to follow their path. I want to find a unique way to communicate the story of Battle Strikers to fans.
Dude Ninjitsu is the blue one right? It looks damn epic dude. It looks like a sharp metal outline to me. Damn Epic.
Also, Vids plz. kthx.
Yeah, that one is Ninjitsu Grin

I don't know when I can get vids, but there will be vids ... eventually.
Alright thanks also any samples >.>
All my samples are spoken for.
Hmm alright thanks anyway. :]
To help steer away from the Beast or Animal spirits, what about more ....Mechanical or Non-Animal based tops. Eg. in the first series there was Tank and Ninjitsu. Why not lead some of them more in those directions. There are mostlikely more that we didnt get pics of that do go that way but if not....
There is Ninjitsu in the upcoming series. We decided we wanted to go in a more creature bases direction, but there are some surprises ...
