I woulda liked to see ya compete. Probably woulda made it more interesting. Us other judges are just waiting for Sparta to call us, cause everybody's entries are in.

Okay, I was looking through my PM's and I figured out what I was missing. Here's how the tournament really looks:
1. Noodoosoup VS Insomniac.
2. Leone19 VS The Supreme One
3. Thunder Dome VS Odin
4. Kyler_The_Best VS Sepentrione
5. Temporal VS Bye
This makes sense, because that means there are 9 entries - all of which have been sent to the judges. The judges will then make the thread for the Round 1 battles, and decide on each battle as the viewers cast their opinions.
LMAO entered right? But Sepentrione couldn't, says the 104th post. So the 9th entry was LMAO's not sepentrione's

Congrats to the winners!! Time for me to say what I wanna say. Now everybody, don't take this criticism as a bad thing. I'm trying to help. I've wrote some good stories in my days, and I think I can help. If not, oh well, it's your opinion, and you can ignore this...
Noodoosoup VS Insomniac.
Insomniac., I think your match here with Noodoo was the closest of the rounds. Yours had a very interesting storyline with a futuristic setting and great plot, but for me, the main reason that Noodoo got my vote was because of the use of time. It added a certain tone to the story. I think you did a great job and shouldn't change a thing.
Leone19 VS The Supreme One
I couldn't quite understand Leone19's story at first, but reading it again helped it make sense. I found it more humorous than related to the topic of A Fatal Error. Don't get me wrong, it was good, but I just didn't feel it matched the subject as much as TSO's did. It was a decent length, and I liked that TSO wasn't afraid to go outside the normal level of writing and took up PG-13, kind of like my style.
For you Leone, I'd suggest making your writing a bit longer. That's really my only big deal.
Thunder Dome VS Odin
Quite frankly, I didn't think this one was that hard to choose. A chess game? That already makes it interesting. It felt like the simple game of chess was like a warzone. There were soldiers fighting and everything. It immediately gained my vote. Well done, Odin.
Don't feel too bad, my fellow NC writer. You have plenty of time to improve and get better. I've never seen many of your writings, anyways. I didn't know you wrote, either (LOL). I think to start, try not to make it a personal experience. Be creative. Also, length is a big deal. I think it can be simply worked out.
Kyler_the_Best VS LMAO
This one was pretty interesting to see. Both of you had great stories. Kyler's was mysterious, and he backed up the feel with a great body and interesting finish. However, I think LMAO had a very smart idea with his writing. Sounded just like a diary, and I loved it. It's unique.
Don't feel too bad, Kyler. I thought yours was amazing as well. Don't change anything and I think you'll have a nice writing.

Thanks Defstamina! I appreciate it- I honestly didn't know if it should be longer, since it was a prologue. Besides that, I understand how it was more humorous, but, I tried my best for the subject I was working with, lol. Thanks for the experience though, it was fun!

The judging in the loser's bracket will be interesting. With only two, the dynamic interests me. If they disagree, I assume there will be a back-and-forth discussion, much like a jury deliberation room, until one side is convinced, right? After comparing notes, this sort of thing comes down to mechanics. If two sides are at a disagreement on the content, then whoever executed better would likely win the round, no? Meaning that it is entirely possible that grammar, spacing, spelling, and execution is more important than the actual story in some cases. If you had an amazing idea, but one judge disagrees, and your opponent had immaculate grammar as well, then... You'd lose, right? This is all my speculation, but I'd assume that this sort of dynamic would be what goes on between Kujikato and Sparta.
