Raichu Lv.X
Mewtwo Lv.X
Infernape Lv.X

What about Trainers and stuff? :\
I don't use them really, I don't have that many good ones.

... you kind of need them!
And that explains why I've been losing.
So get trainers and build a focused deck?
Yeah, aren't all these Pokemon like different types? I don't know how much has changed but when I used to play, using more than two primary types was asking for trouble.
Yeah, my cards hit like 150 Damage, at one time I hit over 1200 Damage with luck!
My Steelix has a move that does 100X until you get tails.
Lol actually also I have my "Backup Deck" which everybody I battle with get's owned by it.
It's simple, with pokemon like venomoth, Sharpedo and has some trainers.
well we had a neghbor hood toreny and soon will be the master of psi and grass
me vs the heated grass user paul

we play the game diffrent in our toreny we onley have 30 cards
must have 6 pokemon
recovery and energy card for the rest

let me know if you want results

the game has changed to where pokemon attacks mainleiy cost one type enegy
and then random energy
so 3 or 4 type isent going to hurt but still can b frustrating

this deck is not usable renember you may onley have 3 level x pluse you still have to evolve them
psi is my deck base because psi intrest me and it may be about the time i read my freinds mind 18 times in a row no lie
my best pokemon from my different decks
gallade sp 80hp
gardivor 120hp
this pokemon i used to have can do 100x the cards in my discard pile
and i think 200hp garadose
My deck's bad right? Haha I know, but over the the past few months i've analyzed every single Pokemon on the Pokedex and formed 2 decks with decent types, which include quite some trainers and supporters.

Fire,Electric Deck
Water, Dragon Deck.
In each I add about 1 or two strong pokemon of different types, just for fun.
Nowadays trainers and supporters should tend to make up around half of your deck. Through their use you can do a LOT more in your turn than was ordinarily possible. Still, I've stopped playing this recently due to the speed that cards become outdated. I don't have the money to continually buy all these new cards every time half my deck is made redundant.

I think that's one of the reasons people like yugioh. Apart from the very well known list of banned cards pretty much everything can be used and you're not constantly trying to trade them away quickly before they become unusable. Uncertain

Before I quit I ran a Raichu/Blastoise based deck.
recently i have been thinking about what cards i should use for my deck im probably going to use a fire type deck hopefully with a typhlosion prime card if i can get one i was looking at it online and it looks pretty good but i have noticed that you should usually have 20-25 energies in your deck and probably about 3-5 trainer cards 3-5 support cards 3-5 stadium cards and the rest should be your pokemon but if you use pokemon like salamance or charizard basicly any final evoulution DO NOT FORGET TO ADD THE 1ST AND 2ND EVOLUTION TO YOUR DECK!!! otherwise you will lose from the very start of the battle
and just wondering but do you guys do the pokemon TCG leagues i might enter one but im not sure still thinking about it but i like how for every 6 battles you compete in they give you free POP packs (Pokemon Organized Play packs)
Ah the Pokemon TCG....

It was great when I got back into it. Badges for prizes, special promo packs. Dear god it was fun entering Pokemon League because of the soul purpose that I could mix new and old cards and not abide by the stupid rotation. Everyone had a unique deck, minus the few rare occasion there was a tourney kid who no one really cared for playing because face it. Tourney Kids should never be allowed to play a game they don't know how to play.

Then over the years it turned sour when I went to league. Last time I went there it was filled with so little people. All of which teens near my age who have gotten many tournament prizes. Then it hit me, all of them were tourney kids. Within 1 year such a great game has become tainted with kids who spend so much time reading up about a deck 80000000000000 other kids who don't know how to play a card game use. I swear, the game is no longer fun because of these guys practically killing it for others. The only fun I get from organized play is Sneak Previews.

It may be a bit of a rant, but it's a true fact. Playing the Pokemon TCG is no fun, it's become worse than Yu-Gi-Oh in terms of tournament play. Other than that, it's fun to play with friends who don't try to aim for a world championship.

Oh man can see where you can get that im one of the tourney kids but never like to size up. I even go easy just to have fun not to overkill every noob that goes through a league door.

yes i do go to league even tournaments. But only gotten 2nd or 3rd. Dang fire decks (ill get them one day)
Meh, once got to 12th place in the Illinois regional tournament. Got pwned in epic fashion by a guy with a Sceptile/Torterra Deck. I got revenge after the tounament with my Cloudy Sky Torterra deck. I wasn't too great, I just got good matchups, 'cause I lost rounds one and two. My 3rd match I beat in 1 turn, because he only had a Magikarp. Milotic C+ 30HP Magikarp= 1 Turn KO.
I made a few friends there. The people are usually nice. One girl helped out my Grass deck, and gave me a crapload of cards for a few Flygons that really weren't so rare.

2nd and 3rd is still pretty good. I never do well at tournaments. Once I got first at a pre-realise, and my final round was against someone that went to worlds. But pre-realises don't mean much sadly.

thats the jist of it no one knows the new cards and all noobs when it come to prereleses since its new cards new minds (or something) its a tournament but not one to actually be all UP about it
Whenever I played (Last School Year) I made an Ampharos/Meganium/Nidoking based deck.

Grass and Electric.

I owned the only guy who I played against, and he changed his deck every time we played, and he only used Rocket Cards.
