Depends how many you're mixing. Generally, I just chuck some epic normal type pokemon in there, just cuz i can, along with fire types and maybe a couple of beastly pokemon.

worse to have a lot of different types, cuz then the chance of getting the energy that you want is slimmer. But I don't see anything wrong with adding random normal types along with them.
All the types of energy's are the Phsycic and the Dark.
I have a carpy deck.
I got that new Dragon Exaled deck.
I got beat in 10 mins.
I have a deck, mainly composed of Grass, Rock/Ground, and Normal/Flying types.

Just finished one with my friend using my water deck , I lost for the first time. by 1 prize card. (Usually I use my fire and own)

i recomend the new ex decks but you cant use the cards with out the real thing
Me and my friend bought 5 Dragons Exalted(Not each just all together) and we got 2 EXs
Terrakion and Ho-Oh EX(Not Full Art)

The other day I won my first match at GAMERS WORLD. Using my carpy deck but I had an Giratina EX and totaly sucker punched my aponent.
I lost my Regigigas!!!!!!! The worst part is, the one I lost did not have the Poke-Body Slow Start. My extra one does.
Me and my friend just opened our Boundaries Crossed Booster Box and he got 1 EX and it was Black Kyurem(Not FA) and 2 Ace Specs which were Computer Search(Which he is trading me) and Crystal Wall. Out of my half I got 2 EXs and they were Landorus(Not FA) and Celebi(FA) and I traded Celebi for Terrakion and Groudon EX and Computer Search. And now I'm going to make a Ground Deck.
Sorry to bump this thread, but I'd appreciate some help. I used to collect Pokemon cards and have a binder full of them. Can anyone tell me if I have any rare cards if I list them? Most of them are from the 2000s.

The only rare card I know about is the rare first edition Charizard. It also depends on the condition of your cards. If you have a bunch of bent up cards then the value will go down. Most websites that buy cards are very picky with this. I don't really know about any other rare cards.

Oh Ok. To be honest, I don't know. Another rare card I can think of besides 1st edition Charizard is Ancient Mew. Ancient Mew is one of those cards that many people think is fake but is very sought out. It looks like this:
