But we still do seperated HMS and Plastic tournaments, so where's the whole fight based off of?
(Nov. 09, 2008  11:38 AM)ZeroX Wrote: [ -> ]Rofl, arguing about tops? Seriously, I play HMS against plastic and plastic usually wins, and vice-versa, I'm with Brad on this, HMS VS Plastic is fine.

HMS should be winning. If Plastic is usually winning you're doing something wrong.

Also, this is an entire board for discussing "tops", so I don't see how "arguing about tops" is "rofl".

These are house-rules. The official ruling is that they battle together.
Well, in some occasions its not that much fair to use an HMS against a plastic using newbie and as I have believed in this I have never used my HMS against anyone since they had none(Driger MS vs. Dragoon V XD), however, anyone who chooses to use a crappy plastic customization over an HMS is a fool and deserves their carp to be kicked by an HMS type and besides, there still are plastic customizations that can outclass most of the HMS types and customizations.

Overall, if there is new model is released it has to be superior to most of the models released before it and that does justify that the superior ones should not be used against less-superior one, thus, Plastic vs. HMS vs. MFB is totally fair.
We still do discuss about plastic combos, but in most cases there will be better HMS combos. Why then still care about the plastics?

Because the original beyblades are awesome!
Just makes me wanna shout "ドラグーン!!!!"...not really.
I read this thread again (to an extent), and just can't put my finger on the word to describe it...
The HMS blades that I have are;

-Gaia Dragoon MS
-Driger MS
-Draciel MS
-Wolborg MS
-Death Gargoyle MS

When I meant usually wins, I sort of meant, they 'sometimes' win, and the only HMS blades which lose are usually Gaia Dragoon MS and Draciel, since Gaia Dragoon is a crazy sonofa...and Draciel is just meh. I'm using the Tornado Balance and Dranzer Flame Field Stadiums.
Wow, I wish I had been around to know Keyblader, I feel like I missed out.

EDIT: nm I figured out the answer
Bruce Lee cosplayer from Beyblade episode 8!

There's a few combos that would defeat any plastic pretty much all the time, zombies included. Round Shell MS and pretty much ANY of the various bearing core combos that exist. Not to mention how Circle Upper+GFC annihilates them, usually in just one hit.

Quality not quantity.

Also, you only own two good HMS beyblades right now.

First of all, I said "most" not "all" I thought everyone here would know the difference between two ...

Second, aside from Wolborg MS and DEMS(Both molds) I have DGMS/UV and both the normal and the secret orange version of DG MF and not to mention all other HMS except RSMS, MAMS, Wybern, Jiraiya, AKMS, SCMS, BDMS, SGMS, SRMS and as far as I know in order to make such a generalization as I have done I have enough knowledge where I stated that some plastic generation customizations can outclass "most" of the HMS types and customization where this "most" does not contain the Titans of HMS for gods sake!

Only Zombies come close to outclassing any HMS, and they are easily taken out by Wolborg MS and many other HMS. Your conclusions are incorrect.

Because many of us still play with plastics. That was not the discussion here.

Did you mean to say "hms aren't stupid"?

And they're not just good to use, they're preferred for competitive gameplay.

Not if you know how read the damn sentencesAngry
Okay if you still don't want to try to understand any more implications,
Some: Zombies, Hardly any compacts(I'll see so many posts against it again though)
Most: First three released, Dranzer MS, DZMF(Not the Secret Black One), Guardian, Avarazer, Phantom Fox

Test them and you'll see

Yes, but HMS are not some divine weapon sent from heaven. They are still Beyblades. The argument was never made that HMS are invincible against plastics. The argument is that in a scenario with two high-level players, one using plastic and one using HMS, the HMS player will consistently win.

You really should know what the topic is about before responding to it. Wink
Against plastics, Driger MS is still sex. Against other HMS, it's sex to a point i.e. Wolborg MS, Death Gargoyle MS.

Driger MS is not that great against plastics and fails against almost every other HMS. It is in the lowest tier for a reason. Why would anyone use Driger MS?
