Well in our school weird rules are there
1.Not allowed in any other dress even on birthday's
2.No sticking chart's on wall's
3.Improper uniform 10 rs fine
4.Not allowed to play football in games period's
5.Not going out without an out pass (well i guess most of the school's will be having it)
6.Not allowed to bring beyblade's or other playing stuff's

There are endless weird rules in our school

Here's the an effective way to hide you cellphone:
IF you have an extra, BUT hidden pocket in your bag, hide it there. And make sure you turn it off.

We have this class called 'Elective', which requires us to speak in english, AND NOT MUTTER EVEN A SINGLE FILIPINO WORD. Dare to, minus 1 in your academic grade.

My high school is pretty linent but my little Bro MAN dude they cant even play tag

My school now that I have moved to the other campus has completely fair rules. (No sarcasm, seriously!)

1. All electronic devices besides laptops and tablet PCs have to be turned off during school hours unless said otherwise by a teacher. I do get to school early, so I can play on my iPad if I wanted.

2. Most (not all) teachers have a no gum rule. Understandable.

3. We can un-tuck our shirts at our 10-minute break because if you want to play a sport like football or tetherball, having a tucked shirt limits mobility,

4. If we take more than the 5 minutes given to get to class (unless let out early or late) we get a "tardy." I believe after 4 or 5 tardies, you get a work detail. Washing windows and stuff like that. Just, be on time, OK?

5. We have an honor code which tells us to not lie, cheat, or steal, and if we see someone else doing those things, it's our responsibility to tell or else we can get in trouble, too. This is what makes our school the way it is.

So all in all, I say we have some pretty fair rules.

at our school, if you wear your uniform wrong three times in a semester you get a thursday detention. another three and its a saturday. and you get a point to those if you dont wear your hat in the canteen line or towards an undercover area!

Reading these rules makes my school look superior, haha.

I've gotten out of class early for getting a test done early, all work in, and having an A. Has happened twice so far. Both times I end up going to my tech teacher's room to hang out with older kids.
I also mess with one of the security guards, and spit gum from a top hallway to a garbage can bellow on the bottom floor. Rebel aren't I?

We also watch movies with violence, blood, killing, cussing, and racism in World Studies class.

High school is pretty fun, way better then middle school :]

in elementry school there was a rule that at resese we couldn't run on concreate XD

Same, we watched some of 300 and gladiator in global history (after that I have had an urge to kick a
bully or whatever and yell "this is sparta"!!!!!!) and I got out of class
early for the same thing. One time my other English teacher had a rule. No " likes" so if u said it the wrong way. Like she would like get all like angry if u like make like this kind of like sentence.

Recently, we are having a program called "junkwarta". It requires you to bring plastic bottles and newspapers to be recycled. If successful, three basketball-trash cans will be made.

Basket- trash cans... Who the hell thought of this?

I know high schools awesome ain't it it sounds just like my school union high school in camas the prepy school of the area

In my college level English class my teacher requests that gentlemen remove their hats. It is not a school wide rule even. My teacher is really old fashioned.

Apparently the hall monitors (security guards) have some rule where if you bump into a cheerleader, there will be punishments that vary. One time I went to go to the weight room, and I thought I dropped something, so I turned and ran as fast as I could to the changeroom, and our shoulders made contact and the hall monitors were like "WOAH! Be careful next time, she's a cheerleader! Give me 10 push ups!" and he yelled it out loud and everybody, including the cheerleader heard and saw me do the push ups.

^ that my friend is b/c she is a cheerleader...

But this kinda stuff only get worse when you're in High School, our original Uniforms were: the school polo, khakis, and black shoes. my freshman year, it was changed to the same thing but they had to be specifically, BLACK OR BROWN POLISHABLE LEATHER SHOES, and to make it worse only us freshmen had to wear the winter uniform which was: a white dress shirt with a business tie(no "novelty" ties either), same khakis and the dress shoes.

Next year the entire school had to wear the winter uniform, but the adims put it into effect in early October and stopped it late March/ early April. this year also it was Prohibition. since a buncha the "geniuses" thought it be kewl to put vodka in their water bottles getting drunk at school, everybody was forbidden to have any form of beverage except in the cafeteria. Also the same "geniuses" did the same thing at the Homecoming dance and got wasted there so ALL school dances except for senior prom were cancelled and will remain so...

this year there hasn't been any ludicrous rules added to the handbook........yet.......

Yeah, every school that is described on this tread sounds so... Sorry my mommy said I cant say those words. :-)

When I was in sixth and seventh grade, we couldn't have coughdrops because they were described as 'Prescription Medicine' WTF!? THEY ARE JUST FREAKING COUGH DROPS! Also, no gum. If the teacher caught you with gum, he would walk over to your desk, make you spit it out, and put it on your damn forehead.

So what if she is a cheerleader? That's called unfairness, biased, etc. So that means girls who are on a team that wears a t-shirt and short shorts who boost their school's confidence means that they have a special right to make other guys do push ups? Plus it was an accident and I was in a rush and I would've technically saved the hall monitor's time because if I didn't find it, we would have to go into the office and look at the video clips.

I got wisks banned from my school because the teacher beleved i was using them as weapons...

Thats horrible, my school can do all those things, except hug.

At my school we can use beyblades in our 25 min break but we always do it and now their bored of it Now we can only play soccer on special days cause some other come and just annoy start battles and so on But i think my school does not have many rules u can hug and play beyblades but u can get in trouble if u do something not good like not do all homework recently 2 classmates got into a fight and ripped each others t shirts off thats one way to get in trouble

Ok so my school isn't the only one that has stupid rules..i'm relieved.So here are my school's most stupid rules:
-Don't run in class or hallway(i mean what the heck if someone stole my money i just need to stay and walk nicely and calm to get my money back?!)
-Don't play with any kinds of consoles(like PSP and Nintendo DS)
-Wear only dresses or skirts that cover your knee(u want me to dress like my grandma or what?)
Oh and i agree with Janstarblast:some rules really are meant to be broken...

Those are pretty normal school rules. Actually I never heard of a school that doesn't have them rules.
