1 of the school rules that i really despise is that u are not allowed to grow ur hair.......It has to be kept short at all costs..(and btw our school is a boys school :\ )...u cant bring anytype of toys(especially beyblades) and no mobile phones are allowed inside the campus......
We can't have Smarties or rubber bands at my school.
Smarties: Kids "smoking" them. But the school got on the news!
Rubber bands: People were making paper stingers and shooting people.

Same for our school...we are also not allowed to wear anything other than school uniform...and also no jewellery allowed...no chewing gums in school as well

mine..
1. No shorts(What the H with that)
2.No high fiving or hugging. ( what the heck people makeout in the hallways all the time.)
3. You have to sit in your assigned lunch section. (ok Then no socializing)

I hate middle school rules

so what ridiculous rules does your school have. please do tell

No shorts?! You have to go to school HALF NUDE?
We at our school can't
1. Play card games
And that's it. I go to primary school, so it's easy. XDXDTongue_out_winkTongue_out_wink
Wow, your schools are strict! We don't have strict rules, only acceptable rules?

Same here, we can't even grow our hair in our school though we are able to play with Beys but only on special events, I hate these ridiculous school rules Speechless.
School rules? My school has them, we just don't follow them. Hair must be above the collar? Puh-leez. Have you seen my hair. No gum? Gum everywhere. That's all I remember though. My school isn't ridiculous after all.... hehehe
The usual Private rules. Hair rule. Not allowed to be over your ears....(IKR!?) I usually say that I cant get Booked in with the Hairdresser (Whatta Rebel. Tongue_out)

No gum but I swear our school is like the Black market for Gum. Its intense.

Parallel Education which Practically means. NO BOY WITH GIRL CLASS. But yeah at my school we only see the Girls at Lunch. No classes nothing. Apparently its Less Distraction which I think is True Wink

Our School is pretty cool though. Not Majourly Strict like everyone expects Private schools to be.
My School has the same hair rule thing as dragoonrocks and Unlucky XII ,Which is a pain because my hair is long and my teacher is always forcing me to cut it.

Hornets and smoking smarties. 2 more things we can't do at Ligon.
Hah! Our school forces us to become almost half bald..... Though a great school, it feels like its a military regiment..... Also, the worst part is...................sometimes, we don't get recess too.... It becomes like a homework completion period.... We are forced to do our homework.... If we have to do it in school, then why call it homework?
WOW! I can not compare to any of your guys schools but i do have an insane rule that nobody has you can't sing at any time, Exsept at the talent show (Which i am in) And just a little hint i am a singer!
Hey, even we have that rule!
Hahaha, I started growing my hair out in 5th grade. By 12th, it was around hip length. Only place my school had any sort of problem with it was in PE, but as long as I tied it back with an elastic band, I was fine.
Also with my school you can fail a class if you have a "F" for the last six weeks in that class, even if you have all "A's" and "B's" before that like me. Damn, first "F"(57%) I ever got. Now I have to pass the final exam...dang...just dang. Well when the time comes next week to take my final exam, I'll attempt to bite it to death.
Piercings and "flamboyant" hair. As well as the stupid uniform rules, like making sure your top button is always done up, or your tie has to be perfect. Some teachers issue out suspensions even, over the slightest things.

I don't understand how any of those can affect our learning. And isn't that why we come to school, to learn ?

EDIT: I can understand having over the top amount of piercings, or fluorescent hairstyles, but things like having a cartilage piercing, or a stud that's over 3mm big, that's just stupid.
We also wear uniforms.but boy,the are SOOOO thick that if the weathers hot, then we will be hoy as boiling water

also,i dont get why make rules like dont bring toys if almost half of the dtudents bring one.AKWARD :l
we have to write news every morning from the news paper and also have to give pubic speaking of every chapter and also we have to submit our homework on the given date too Uncertain
the boys are not aloud hair longer than 2 inches... what am i meant to do with my afro.......
mine wasnt half bad hearing all yours.
my first school was just cool when it came to rules. i would pin some one agenst the wall because they tried my suspender to the desk, yet the lady just looked at us ruled her eyes and kept walking. didnt help he was a freind of mine i only got busted for wearing a bullet belt.

my second school, was OK...... needless to say it was abit worse we didnt have names we had numbers. it was fenced in as well once you enter school grounds you here not aloud out unless some one (on the papers) came to pick you up and or you digged your way under the fence.........(not admitting it outloud LOL) no earings, no red or blues, no music. and no white groups aloud......yet we had black, asian, ect.

we had to do a few weeks of comunity service, write three essays and have a presentation infront of the school board with what we plan to do after we graduated......if you pass. hehee all this had to be done for you to graduate. IT SUCKED, yet i cant believe i passed LOL

I gotta try that XD
Now we cannot have pinhole tears which are hardly visible now. Like smaller than eraser, absolutely 19th century BS right there.
No sharpies allowed. I guess some random kid decided to draw on someones homework and he got suspended.
You can only use blue and black pens during a test. I have no idea why you can't use a red pen.
Last, you can't bring any packs of cards to school. My friend had a big racket going with his card tricks and the teachers thought he was gambling.

At least you can bring beyblades to school.

Sharpies: People write and draw on themselves.
No red Pen on a test: Teachers correct with red pen.
Cards: It's illegal to gamble if you are under 21 (at least in the US)
