Apparantly, Alice tested something with Tri-Stinger and strangely said it worked with Dragonic Overlord.

Tri-Stinger's LB states that when it attacks a VG, you can costlessly unflip two CB. You don't have to hit, you don't have to SB or anything. You just need to attack. At 4 Damage. Dragonic Overlord's 3CB skills can be used in either VG or RG circles, and because our VG is Tri-Stinger, we would rather DO be in the RC, where it can still go off and doesn't have to lose Twin Drive. If you attack with Tri-Stinger last, you can make DO's 3CB into 1. Now, how bad can this be?

Well, you have a mixer. DO loses 2k if there's not another Kagero. So Alice uses Nehalem instead of the AQ 10k to keep DO happy and at 11k. There's also Bahr, the Kagero 8k, along side Theo the AQ 8k. So that solve's DO's "Lord" problem. The deck also include two types of Storm Riders and Algos. Also Stands, lots and lots of Stands.

If you happen to get a Stand with Tri-Stinger, you can make DO attack again for fun times.

This is just an idea, I haven't exactly tried it. I'd like to, but /Emerald Shield, Paschals/ are too expensive.

I have no intentions of making an aqua force deck and was wondering about that card since it was an RR. I was a little disappointed to not pull in GP's for my deck, but that's fine. I got a lot of great nature cards and one was even a starting vanguard which is pretty cool.
That card's worth about $1 (literally.)

Today I borrowed my friend's deck for a locals because I don't have any English decks. Ended up topping (he did too, it's all good) but pulled nothing good from the packs I won. Did get some good trades in though.

I heard the same thing and I tried it once. if you can pull it off, kagero becomes incredibly strong, but other than that it's like the old invincible overlord deck only in limit break form.
...What is the Invincible Overlord deck? Alice mentioned it on the AQ article, but I don't exactly know what that is.
Mr Invincible + Dragonic Overlord + Stand Triggers
Tri Stinger/Overlord was a build which existed for quite awhile. Effective, but not that popular probably cos its a mixed deck =\
I didn't expect it to be worth much anyway. So are liberators worth using? I know they won't get much support in the English format for a little while since the starter deck is in October, while a pack that includes the cards is in December. I'm just trying to figure that when they come out if I should stick with a Garmore GP build or go to Liberators.

Liberators> all other builds of Gold Paladin. But if there's no set 10 support, just wait until you get set 10. Liberators is bad without set 10 unless you're playing Spectral Duke x Gancelot
In terms of field populating, Liberators beats hand down in most if not, all existing builds...

Escrad doesnt need boosting and Alfred is just top call at CB2...
Once BT12 is out, Garmore is populates the whole field in CB3 while Bleoberis (if it ever comes out in English) works WAAY better than Gancelot in a lot of the builds (Especially SDD since he needs RG fodder).

All you need to do for Liberators is flood your field through card effects, ensure 3 attacks from the first attacking turn (easily done since you have Marron for support now to hit 10K), and get Alfred to his VG circle ASAP. You dont even need to care about RG since Escrad and Alfred handles that for you.
I have heard about this but i never understood how to play it. Can someone share the information about playing

Watch the first episode of any season of the Cardfight Vanguard Anime. Or you could go to your locals and ask your VG tournament organizer or anyone that plays VG there.
Thank you for your help
I will do that

unless you are watching the first season, then watch the first 3 or 4 to get a good idea of the game's biggest rules.
Watch part of Season 1 of the anime, then buy a Trial Deck and read the rules from there.

Personally, the anime isn't the BEST way to teach how to do advanced plays. Because plot-fueled misplays and what not. But it's a good way to get a feel on how to play the game. Much better than Yu-Gi-Oh.

Speaking of, I'm making a Yu-Gi-Oh deck for the sake of having it. The only thing thankful about that is that it's not meta (E-Heroes), so I don't have to worry about getting into the competitive scene. I'll leave my competitive scene to Vanguard.

Speaking of competitives, the locations for Qualifiers are out. This information is from their official Facebook:

8/31 – Toronto, Canada - Park Hyatt Toronto
9/7 – Atlanta, GA - Sheraton Gateway Atlanta Airport
9/15 – Chicago, IL - Chicago Marriott Oak Brook
9/21 – Mexico - TBA (hosted by Gamesmart)
9/21 – Hawaii - TBA (hosted by Toylynx)
9/22 – Redmond, WA - Redmond Marriott Town Center
9/29 – Arlington, TX - Hilton Arlington
10/13 – Hauppauge, NY - Hyatt Regency Long Island
10/26 – Pasadena, CA - Pasadena Convention Center

Unlike last year, where I did pretty okay (3-2, being eliminated in the 5th or 6th round), I won't be participating in the Qualifiers for my region. Seriously, is it just so hard to ask to put it in a place where I don't have to ask my mom to drive me because I don't have a license? Like, if it was in NYC, I'd go on my own. But having to go all the way to Edison, NJ last year, I don't wanna ask mom to take me to Hauppauge, due to
A) She'll leave me there until I'm done and then come pick me up
B) It's farther than Edison, going the opposite direction
Besides, I doubt I'll survive when come 10/13, everyone or 75% will be using Dragonic Overlord The End decks because lol so meta it wins me games.

Anyway, don't forget to register. You can do so here: https://www.facebook.com/CardfightVanguardUSA
We have to register to go? Stupid Facebook. I don't have one not want one.
What clans should I be aware of at the tournament I'm going to today? I'm gonna run AQF or OTT.

I didn't do very good, but I got a TD04(OTT) and a Goddess of the sun Amaterasu. SP, BT, and GRANBLUE were the top 3. I went against SP(lost 1-2), OTT(won 2-0), and AQF(lost 0-2)
Hunh, really? Your meta must be going against the grain. That's a good thing.
Things that topped in my locals last week
Sephirot
Murakumo (me)
Zeal
Bermuda
Major League Baseball
Narukami
Glory
Metaron

It changes every week. 2 people here played DOTE last week. I only dropped 2 games to Zeal and Narukami.

We run what we want to run here. We don't care about what's "omg broken." We play to have fun and win some packs and store credit.
God I hate MLB. I was able to win one round against the deck, but lost the other two. That thing needs to die. And fast.

ive only been able to sack MLB to death, its one of the few decks I have a problem fighting

really funny when it happens though, nobody is expecting it
My locals is over run with RFD and Eradicator Narukami at the moment...

Wow, I guess Murakumo and Zeals are really good. I only need a few more cards to complete those decks.
