also, i wanst thinking of the 8 null thing, and i wouldn't risk such a thing with my deck. it's more of the fact that i only own 1 null guard, and that would be my royal one. this means that nulls will be esier to obtain to complete my deck.

RP's break ride is definitely lacking compared to the others though.

Also, The Liberator/Eradicator versions of Mark/Guld are completely awful. Bushi is just getting greedy now. I'm going to run Eradicators, but since I pulled 2 Guld reprints, I'm going to use those instead of the Eradicator version.

Descendant/Round Table are also a nightmare. Descendant is just a monster and Alfred is a live Chrome Jailer/Lop Ear. Break Rides are pretty cool, but not too fun for the opponent when you Ride Descendant over Vowing sword, CB 5, Descendant becomes 31k +1 crit, boosted by Hisen going for 41k +1 crit. Yeah, one omni guard just isn't going to cut it buddy boy.

Needless to say, I'm going to have lots of fun when Set: 10 rolls around. I hope Bushi hurries up and starts to break everything so >BT6/7 isn't irrelevant anymore. Not putting a drop of $ until
1. Moar Aqua Force stuff is released
2. I can play Descendant
3. I learn _____ broken clan is released in Set: ___

Tl;Dr: I'm a dirty bandwagoner and shouldn't be allowed to crit. But at least I'm not a scrub, netdecker, or stacker.

Can someone help me out? What would be a good thing to purchase for someone wanting to start this game?

No problem and Tier Zero/GT sell all of the English ones when fully in stock. Where to buy the Japanese cards are Otacute and AmiAmi. Ebay is good too.

edit: i mean my royal garmore deck. it has been with me through most of my vanguard "career".

Garmore GP is best GP. All day, e'er day.

Garmore in general is a beast, though. I've been thinking of switching to a Garmore RP deck, but I dont' want to have to get those Flash Shield, Iseults...

Jewel Knight, Iseult isn't gonna be any better, either.

Also, Halo Shield, Mark and Wyvern Guard, Guld got rereleased in BT09? Guess what! They get rereleased again in BT10 as Halo Liberator, Mark, and Eradicator Wyvern Guard, Guld.

They just shouldn't have even reprinted them in 09 if they were going to do this. These are superior to the originals and reprints. I thought it was cool that they were reprinting them in 09 because I needed Gulds but didn't want to waste money on a set that I only needed one card from (06), but now they're just a waste of slots.

That's the thing, though. Each set USUALLY had PGs to offer in every release.

For BT01, it was RPs, KGs, and OTTs. (my first box, I got all three <3)
For BT02, it was NGs, GBs, and SBs.
For BT03, it was DIs, PMs, and TKs.
For BT04, it was DPs, SPs, and MCs.
For BT05, it was NNs and MKs.
For BT06, it was GPs, NKs, and AFs.
For BT07, it was GNs.
For BT08, it was AQFs.

So I guess for BT09, after introducing a new clan in BT08, they really don't have any room to add that kind of support to other clans that have already gotten what they needed. The only reason why BT10 are "remaking" PGs is to fit with the new archtype scheme they've been working with.

We've had archtypes before, most notably with Death Army and Battle Sisters, where it was mostly the effects requiring cards of the archtype, but BT10 now started something that involved EVERYTHING with the running archtype, creating something like "Special Counterblasts". I wouldn't be surprised if PGs for other clans were remade BT10 and onward to conform to this Archtype scheme, but...I don't like it.

They should reprint Flash shield and Barri. I mean, RPs and KGs are coming back. Bushi, please don't make any more Storm Riders.

there is going to be no reprint for flash sheild. instead we have a new null for royals, jewel knight isult. however we have nothing on kagero, absolutely nothing.

We won't get Kagero until BT11, where Narukami and Kagero, and possible Tachikaze, are getting the spotlight.

Also Pendragon is somewhat playable now since there is a vasuki clone for RP. This will be very fun.

IMO, bushiroad's indirect "meta refresh" seems even more harsh after right now.... Prices of the cards are now so whacky that I dont really know what is what anymore. My locals are in a mess.

looking forward to ride breaks, hopefully swapping my non-eradicator perfect guards for eradicator versions will not be too hard, if it isnt, meh its only a couple cards

anyone else want the cardfight vanguard video game? if it has multiplayer and is ever localized, im buying it on release. if it has multiplayer but is never made local, i might have to emulate it or get a chip, though i proberbly wont.

I knew I liked Blockade for a reason. He'll likely be a retrained Break Ride version, but all this talk about a Crossride being in the set..... intrigues me.

I'm so hoping for a retrained version of Aleph in the set, as he's my favorite card. Can anyone tell?

who is going to a BT05 pre-release this weekend. i just found out i 100% can. drafting in vanguard will be interesting.

i also really want those rubber vanguard mats.
