I'm guessing that there are 2 formats now. Normal ones (The standard. Only the prize caomes with all the rare parts.) And the Version ones (All beyblades have the iconic rare part in the name but only one has the correct combo and all the rare parts)

Currently the beyblades that are exclusive to the Japanese app are: CobaltDrake 3-60 Flat, and the golden variation of HellsSchythe 4-60 Taper. LeonClaw 5-60 Point and ViperTail 5-80 Orb are regular releases coming out on Oct 7.

The app exists in general for a couple of things; 1) it acts like a catalogue, so you can keep track of what parts you own, 2) it has a mini game where it syncs with your Bey Battle Pass and simulates a launch based on recorded launch power this is how, 3) works, you first get lucky enough to match against the rare bey (this is rng), and then if you beat it, you get a voucher that allows you to redeem it from TT's online shop.

Every new release will most likely be documented in this app, but you do not need the app to get access to every new release. I can only assume there will only be a few exclusive releases tied to the app. If I remember correctly Burst had something similar in the beginning.

Well, don't count on it. Since you need tons of points to have a fair chance, JP boxes(not the ones with the blue sticker and red/white warning label on the back, that's HK) for scanable codes, and a middle man who lives in Japan to ship it to you. Plus Cobalt is more of a "Put it in a case and feel good about yourself" bey than a regular bey that you can use casually.
