My brief thoughts on all of them.

Hell Scythe - Still probably my favourite one thus far, I really like the design and colour of it, and the motif too. The FS styled tip is to be expected (wish we had Metal Change design again...), but this tip shape seems to be a blessing as it can use the gear gimmick a bit and has better balance than some other tips, which we'll get to. (Disclaimer, I don't think I got the tip shape correct, it might be semi flat like)

Dran Sword - The design looks pretty neat, it of course reminds me of Valkyrie and there's not much more to it. The flat tip is huge and I didn't expect the hole. It's the one that takes advantage of the new stadium gimmick so I'm surprised it isn't the main character bey.

Wizard Arrow - I like this more than I thought I would design wise, it's not too bad overall, it kinda reminds me of Phantom, but with a gap. The tip is probably the best looking one of the four as it's a ball shaped tip, which I must admit is weird for stamina beys but I suppose Zero G did this as well, but it just makes it the most viable one thus far.

Knight Shield - That green is lighter than expected but otherwise not too bad, I like the round, armoured design, almost like Gravity Perseus. However, that sharp tip is awful. I understand the thought process behind it but gahhhhhh that's terrible. Couldn't it at least have a Survive shape, heck, why not even the MFB Sharp tip design? This one's comparable to MS in MFB in shape. At least the blade is rounder.

As for the stadium gimmick, it is quite interesting I must say, I kinda like the idea that it keeps contact as much as possible, and the rev up action's hard hits might be why it's made of metal, to reduce breakage. I feel like this is a tad gimmicky to become a generation long gimmick, even compared to Burst, but that's just me. Maybe it'll catch on (no pun intended), but only time will tell.
Now the « X » section on the wikia can be updated.

You sad this was going to be another burst-based system and you got mad when I shared that the Japanese community was talking about the high sales of MFB which was shared in CoroCoro. Now the new system is officially announced and it's a rehash of MFB and there's no burst gimmick.

You didn't tell me anything.

Dobuted saying it was all speculation and the "source" had any real info, months later all this got confirmed and was right Smile)) Just wanted to make sure since a lot of doubts on a source that got that info right.

Since a lot of people claim I am making it up but lo and behold dates, all the high speed that stuff gets confirmed.

And what do you get out of coming back and quoting me months later? Did me only accepting information through official channels bother you so much that you thought about it for months and felt the need to come back to it? Do you get off on the attention that you get by posting "muh leeks" and you felt personally attacked when someone stated that they weren't going to believe anything unless it came through official channels? Does it bother you that someone doesn't see you as a legitimate source for information or a mouthpiece for the Beyblade brand? I didn't like your channel due to your behavior in the past, and I can certainly say that this behavior puts me off listening to anything you ever have to say. I will continue to only get my info through official channels. If that bothers you then I'm glad it does.

Wizard is for sure the coolest one they are for sure leaning pretty cool on some of the fantasy stuff, I think Knight to me is the least exciting maybe the other colors can look better.
I noticed something… Where is the wbba. logo ?

Understandable considering Wizard's more vibrant and shiny colours, and seems to be the most promising competitively, especially the tip. That's also understandable considering that tip, I'm just biased for green rounded beys, but at least the owner looks interesting, then again the Wizard owner looks interesting if that cat girl is it.

I really do like the more fantasy based motifs here too, and I swear this was what I expected when I first heard of DB.
Well, I'll go into the things I do like about X:

The centers of gravity are very high and the tips are very narrow.

For the general idea of high speed action-packed battles, this is a very good thing.
The designers of the X tops must've realized the issue that very wide, "Defense"-Style tips often came with very high LAD and balance, and very often all but absolutely dominated certain metas. Not seeing them (for now) hopefully brings the prospect that the upcoming meta will revolve around strategies that don't involve LAD or balance.

Furthermore, assuming the Layers/Blades/Fusion Wheels/Attack Rings are the main source of weight, the weight distribution will be very high up, not unlike High Mode in DB/BU or Chrome-Up mode in Zero G. I'm very pleased with the fact that the center of gravity isn't going to be low this time around. This will also lead to my final point...

which is the contract points. They are incredibly aggressive for metal contacts, and remind me of a couple mfb beys, such as Balro and Phoenic, which both had very very fierce contact points. These beys are definitely going flying Xtreme Dash gimmick or not.

Clearly, TT is prioritizing the explosive, recoily, and, pun half-intended, extreme elements of beyblade, which I like. There's less attention paid to the actual endurance and stamina of the tops. TT is definitely looking for beys that will have quick battles that are dynamic and fun to watch. I'm excited that there are LAD and Defense/Stamina aspects that the past two generations fell into by the end, which got so minute that it went down to the quality of particular parts and the specific balance tuning of a beyblade.

This also mentions they're putting Beyblade in Roblox, which could be pretty massive considering every kid I know is into that game.
Hot take:
Beyblade X is TT's take at Slingshock.
I think I got how burst works for this system: the bit defines burst resistance, a tip like Flat has a cylinder that Ball (a weaker burst resistant bit) doesn't have, and inside the ratchet part there are gaps (kinda like slopes? I don't have any Hasbro beys) with a taller, thin segment and a lower, wider one. I assume the cylinder makes it harder for the bit to slide and unlock the top part.

As long as it works i wont be mad

Honestly, although this looks pretty fun for casual play but i feel like i personally wont enjoy playing this as much competitively (like less than burst and mfb) idk i hope im wrong on the comp side
Manga and ANIME trailer : https://twitter.com/beyblade_info/status...26144?s=46

MC name is Kazami Bird
I wonder if they'll make that gear part separately customizable as the blades get more complex and heavier. Just by changing the size of that gear it would be possible to increase the speed (to the cost of increasing the centrifugal force and sacrificing stability so much it shoots the beyblade out). Grin

Personally I like the general concept. There could be some interesting ways of exploiting that new gear gimmick by merging it with middle layer and making the gear partially lockable buy some centrifugal mechanism (instead of controlling driver tip height/exposition like before they could control the gear). For instance if you lock the gear it makes beyblade aggressive, if you make it free spin it become passive.

Definitely looking forward to see what future generations bring. Smile
With the rail system, Multi level stadiums or tracks with loops or connectivity to 2 or 3 other stadiums are possible.
The manga looks so good. They really pulled out the big guns with the authors. It looks a lot more mature than Burst!

In the trailer, they should grown up people playing with these beyblades. That's probably a hint at Beyblade X being targeted towards an older audience.

Kamen X uses Dransword, and you can actually see his face in the teaser. Nanairo Multi uses Wizardarrow, but apparently she has a magician(?) alter ego that uses Knightsshield.

As for my thoughts on the Beyblades, I love them. I really like the gimmick, it’s basically Switchstrike done right. Wizardarrow, having a dual motif with its icon changing depending on the angle you look at it is genius. So from a casual perspective, this seems great.
I wonder if there gonna build on the stadium in future seasons considering that this is a lot more gimmicky considering this is just the start of a new gen of beyblade

I think that the reason they went with a fully sharp tip for defense is due to the stadium having the teethed ridges. Since it's a fully sharp tip it'll act like Just and go to the center as fast as possible no matter how hard it's kicked and if it's moved too far then it will clash with the ridge creating a counter attack like D performance tips in the Zero -G stadium. And we all know from experience that fully sharp tips have awful stamina in battle so it was more close to a defense tip.

Also the Taper Bit is a Semi-Flat not an Flat Sharp

I know why it's like that, but I think it's still way too sharp in my opinion, they should've still made it like Survive from Burst, as it's arguably steeper than the D tip, or heck they should've just made it a SB type of tip if it has to be sharper.

And yes I already pointed that out at the end of my Hell Scythe paragraph, so yeah.

I like that personally, It should help curb the LAD issue burst had for sure, and could probably diversify the passive type meta with greater risks and greater rewards.

The "X Dash" gimmick is supposed to be a double edged sword where you run the risk of self koing and losing stamina, so I wouldn't say its attack heavy.
Strike Eagle: Second favorite design, love the shape, reminds me a lot of ZG Peg. It seems like it might be a pre evo of hells scythe which has me a little worried that we won’t get a physical release. We haven’t seen it irl yet, and it’s not in the first wave which is a little concerning, hopefully I’m wrong.
Dran Sword: Really like the shape of this one, seems very aggro. My guess is it will be the best attack layer for a little while, probs something like Dran Sword 4-60F.
Hells Scythe: don’t really care too much about this one, the layer will probably be the best stamina layer for a little while. A little curious on how good T will be. My guess for combos is Hells Scythe 4-60B/T
Arrow Wizard: really cool shape, reminds me of Chaos and PHW Bull. Really weird they’re giving it a ball tip. The red recolor looks sick. Unfortunately I don’t think the layer will be any good
Shield Knight: Don’t really care for this one. Reminds me a bit of Perseus from mfb. Very weird that the defense type has a sharp tip, doesn’t really make any sense to me
Cobalt Drake: Love the design of this one, easily my favorite. Shame that’s it’s rare bey get locked, gonna have to keep this one as collection only cuz I don’t want the paint to come off. Hopefully we get a recolor. Don’t expect this one to be any good comp. Kinda sucks that it’s all reused parts, but the layer makes up for it at least. Def getting this one
Stadium: absolutely not a fan, slingshock is back. Seems the opposite of skill based to me, just flat launch and your attack type will hit the center. Very weird to me considering they’re trying to advertise this gen as more comp. The ridge thing looks removable so there’s some hope there. Maybe in the future some Bits will have more or less teeth on the gears to ride the ridge slower or faster. Hopefully BB-10 and/or B-33 get legalized, I would say shin ta but I have no expectations of that ever happening.
Overall: designs are kinda bad, but battle seem really fun so I’m looking forward to this gen
