Yes V1 remakes are legal in this format. As of now all plastic remakes are legal in this format. This includes Driger V2 and it's attachment unless that's changed before the tournament.
As another note MFB remakes are banned other than Flame Saggitario, Ray Unicorno, Earth Aquila, and Rock Leone.

Can i have my dad hold my grip for me while i launch? He is the one drivin me to the tournament (since i obviously can’t drive lol and my wrist is broken)

No, for both Hasbro and Takara parts. And the Takara parts (World, Helios1, 1B) are banned in this format.
