Hasbro beyblades can be competitive?
Literally everything before Hypersphere, yes.
Depends on the format. Hasbro only yeah cause it’s only hasbro allowed. In standard no. Classic yeah. Limited not really, but hypersphere has uses in limited sometimes

I can list a good many Hasbro parts/combinations that work quite well in BSL, so I wouldn't say Hasbro combinations are limited to just Hypersphere in BSL. As for Standard, you're mostly correct, aside from a few niche tS4 combinations that can be used exclusively in deck format.

To answer the question directly? Yes, they can be, but it depends almost entirely on the format you intend to play in.

I would like to say that this post upsets me.

Rise had a handful of good layers, but the drivers are where things get spicy. I suggest checking out HyperSphere format DJ - Yeah!
Nah bro we got them switchstrike sand some hypersphere drivers too.

They can be, but as of recently most parts they release are sub-par.

Except Turbo Spryzen S4.....?
And 00. And Expand. And literally hypersphere drivers like Bullet-H. Oh, and Dimension-S, which works well on Over.

Even Turbo Valtryek and Turbo Achilles are good enough, imo. Monster adds in a neat anti-attack base. Myth is solid for Attack.

Lot of things to consider honestly.

Well, the Monster base from it at least. The chip can be swapped out, and it also came in a stadium set as Monster Devolos.

Yeah, but those are outliers and only one (turbo spryzen) can even go the distance. Dread hades and dread Phoenix are kinda bad. And saying "everything" kinda implies a majority of stuff, as there are the outliers in turbo, but there are also the outliers in HS and speed storm

Those are outliers in a severely mediocre series, we have outliers in every series, even speed storm.

There are definitely things from every series that is viable in limited imo, but some have fewer than others

The fact that outliers exist at all still shows that "only before this" is simply dismissive and false. Heck, I'm pretty sure you're underrating quite a few if those outliers to begin with.

I never said "only before this" I said "everything before this", which is actually the opposite. I really don't have faith in Dh3 as it's never ever worked well for me as it's unbalanced and has bad longevity for attack.

"Everything before this" and "only before this" mean the same thing here, both are blanket statements that anything after that point isn't worth considering. Don't try to claim that's the opposite meaning when they're synonymous with each other.

And great, you don't think Hades H3 has enough to float your boat? There's still plenty more to look at. Knockout has solid Attack. Union isn't half bad. Tempest is an amazing Stamina base. Mirage can work as an equalizer if you don't have a Drain Fafnir, and has more of an offense kick with it. Monster is meta-worthy as an anti-attack base. Morrigna has terrible Stamina but insane levels of Defense. All if these are viable in the Limited environment, even the Hades H3 you personally don't like.

Don't be so closed minded to Hasbro users, they're by no means weak in the slightest in the Limited environment even with newer parts.

I'm literally not closed minded about Hasbro stuff. I am literally the Hasbro user and am pretty much the only person doing well with exclusively Hasbro. I'm aware that some stuff after evolution is good, don't worry. I don't personally use "only before this" and "everything before
this" in the same context, and I'm sorry if I made it seem that way. And heck, I have either discovered or meantioned pretty much everything you have meantioned, so I know these things.

Both phrases look to me like you're hammering in a timeframe and pointing in front of it while refusing to look behind it, hence how it looks so closed minded. What exactly makes them different then?

The difference between only and everything is that only means that *only* things before said timeframe are good. Saying everything means that pretty much *everything* before said timeframe is good, which is mostly true for it's time.

I know people aren't going to be doing much work with Valtryek V1, but it's a moot point by now.
