18) Earthquake at the Sacred Grounds! Battle of Beigoma Academy!!
聖地激震!米駒学園の闘い!!
Seichi gekishin! Beigoma gakuen no tatakai!!
Air Date: 2017/07/23
Note: I have no idea how to word 聖地激震 without proper context. This part hasn't shown in the anime yet. We'll revise translation for the title later. I guess Beigoma Academy is sacred grounds.
Looks like a filler episode
A battle of rooftop of Beigoma Academy, thee sacred place of a Beyblade. A Beyblade club practice arena created by Valt. On the first stop of Dynamite Battle Tour , rising bladers will battle. To prepare for his next battle,Bell sneaks into a facility for special training. That facility being.... Wakiya's virtual battle machine
So I was wrong about them saving it up for 20....YES!
It seems that in this episode Valt will use his main gimmick. Super Upper Attack with Jump
I think Valt will wreck Bell and Rashad with his ''true savior slash" and then they will do the virtual battle machine stuff.

its just the fact that we're seeing a thing come back from a previous season with the same gimmick for me, but im still excited!
The OP was great, And The Episode was good too! Well bell defeated Valt (Which was way to early in my opinion)
And I also liked the flashblack of Valt and Shu.
I'd be lying if I said I was a fan of the battle result because I'm really not. But I really like the opening and ending. Though I don't like that Bell won, I do think the animation for the battle was good. I love this though
welp and here comes everyone complaining that Valt lost.. woo boy. Can't wait for the storm-

I guess the reason is, Valt did not resonated
The beyblade of the female blader

Her Beyblade has a Wave driver and a disc that similar too Boost from Victory Valkyrie.
I honestly don't care that Bell won, Valt is gonna get him next time. As I said, July releases tend to evolve. I think Savior Valkyrie will evolve, besides with how bad the stock is in real life, and considering Perfect Belial is gonna be over 90 grams, it would be a crime for Valkyrie not to upgrade.

The Layer looks like Vanish
Edit: Nope it doesn't, ignore this post.(I checked at Wiki)
I guess the core looks like Achilles! I watched the intro (The welcome to the world of Beyblade thingy). I guess she's the new owner of Achilles, But I'm not 100% sure.

I don't think so, It can't be Achilles.
Favorite part of the episode.
I’m not even going to waste my breath on Valt loosing its honestly whatever at this point gotta promote Belial’s gear somehow but can’t wait for Rashad to possibly beat Bell with Valt’s very own bey though lol
Tbh, I wished the whole battle between Valt and Bell just ended with a survivor/spin finish by Bell (because of the V-Gear giving higher LAD). But a burst was really not necessary in my opinion. Okay, now it looks more like irl, but in this case this is in a other world, so...
Btw, I really have big hopes for the female Blader. Beyblade is more something for boys, but I really appreciate their decision to finally bring a female main Blader. I like it!
Valt being the first legend with a DB bey Bell beats, feels weird. He didn't even beat Free. Bell would literally be invincible with all the gears.
Valt lost 2-1 to bell.Nice fight.I think it's fine that Valt lost because that tends to happen and he will bounce back
I'm literally jumping in my seat- yes, yes, YES!
New opening! I love the new scenes (especially the one with every Legend who's not Valt; it gives heavy S1 vibes if you remember that the Four Spin Emperors had a similar scene) and I was right about Catgirl getting a Balance combo! Looks like the Wave' coming with the customize set wasn't a random choice of Drivers, hmm...
Onto the actual episode, there are sooooo many parts I love. Valt's small flashback when he saw the park, him visiting his mom (tho I wish we got a full scene of that; I wanted to see how much Tokonatsu and Nika have grown up), and Bell ruining Wakiya's simulator thingy for the second time in a row (Hikaru and Hyuga did it first) which was kinda funny.
Oh, I also gotta mention that Rashad decided to visit Bell's mansion for some reason (idk if he was checking it out or looking for a battle; I did say my Japanese was dogwater after all) and our friend trio found him there, where they almost got pranked by Jingemon who was apparently providing a distraction for Bell to sneak out into Beigoma Academy and try Wakiya's aforementioned simulator thingy.
After that, there was the battle. And no matter what anyone else says, Bell earned the win...and got bonus points for bursting Savior as a reference to its irl Burst Resistance. Valt's Shot Upper seemed way more powerful in the preview, and yet it could only ring out Dynamite even when coupled with the same True Savior Slash that burst Cyclone and Roar. The next round was cool (albiet a bit short too), and come on Bell, you need to stop spamming Dynamite Bomber, it's turning into the new Z Buster.
My small notes on the battle aside, it wasn't half bad, and I'm glad the F-Gear's curse has finally been broken. Hooray!
Now for next episode: Rashad awakens his own Savior (I'm starting to have a theory about this....), battles Bell and most likely wins *sad Pink noises because the kid can't catch a break*, and Catgirl makes her debut...surprisingly before Shu does. Looks pretty interesting, can't wait to be proven wrong about Bell losing see how the battle will turn out!
Overall, this episode was pretty good. I'm giving it an 8.5/10.
I've not really watched much new Burst episodes lately, but I decided to watch this one because it had the new intro, and the title sounded interesting. The new blader has a yellow Wave driver. The layer is hard to tell (sorta like a mix of Dynamite or Vanish?) and the disk looks new.
The new intro looks pretty good, the part with Free, Lui and Shu look pretty cool especially, and the clips here are a bit better than the last intro, which had good clips as well.
The beginning part doesn't have too much besides Bell using Wakiya's virtual machine and hilariously breaking it, Wakiya's reaction is pretty funny. There's also a nice flashback to Episode 14 of Burst, and it's always nice to have references of the past that isn't just Red Eye or BC Sol related.
The actual battle between Valt and Bell does showcase what the new V Gear can do, the first round showing the gear tightens the lock by letting Belial resist the special attack from Valkyrie, and the second round showing how it boosts the beyblade's speed, sorta like Destroy, in a sense that it uses a large ridge to speed around.
Oh right, the rest of the battle? Valt actually lost 2 - 1, yep. It's fine, but kinda odd considering Bell still lost to Free despite wielding the F Gear, but Valt did have to face both geared Belial anyway. The issue I have is that the battles are too short, considering this is Valt, and only lasts a couple of hits at most.
Still, it is pretty cool to see Rashad seemingly pissed that Valt lost, either because his idol Valt lost and he looked up to Valt, or because he wanted to be the one to beat Valt first, but never did. The ending with Bell flashing his grin is cool, I'm assuming this'll signify how the victory will go to his head. But yeah it's not a bad episode overall.
Good new opening. The female blader’s bey, launcher, and roller skates look neat. Battle was good, it provided Bell a win while also being realistic. There’s nothing Valkyrie can do to defend itself in the air, and Belial is coming full force at it. Overall 8/10 episode.
