[London, UK] Birth of a New Era [Postponed] - LeeDraciel - Jun. 22, 2012

Whats up UK bladers, here comes another tournament to test your skills and have a great time. Lets see some more Zero G combo's and switch things up a bit shall we?

When: 30th June 11.30am until it finishes.
If you turn up after 12.00 you won't be able to take part!

Where: Regents Park Bandstand

Map of the Park -
http://www.royalparks.gov.uk/The-Regents-Park.aspx

Tournament Format: Block Round Robin/Double Elimination -
(Event Guide - http://worldbeyblade.org/eventguide.pdf )
(Format will depend on the number of participants as there is no limit for this tournament!)

This is the WBO Standard format rule book (READ IT)- http://worldbeyblade.org/standardrules.pdf

Prices:
The regular price is £3
Or free If you have purchased a Blader Passport.
Which is available to buy on the day for £6 and will allow free entry to WBO tourneys for one year.

Remember if a parent is bringing you to the tournament, please let them know that finishing times may vary! Please remember that this is England and weather is completely unpredictable so make sure you are prepared.

If you are only able to stay till a certain time DON'T confirm that you can come as it can cause problems when people leave in the middle of a tournament!

RE: [London, UK] Birth of a New Era [30/06/12] - xSTxPhoeniXx - Jun. 22, 2012

Why did it have to be next weekend. Charming! lol. I work every other weekends and have this weekend off so..

Aww wanted it to be the first tournament i attend to as well. Oh well maybe next time?

Can i ask though for all you London'ers on this thread. For future as alot of London events seem to be at Regents Park Bandstand. Is that place anywhere near Charring Cross train station at all? As that is the closest and easiest part of London im from by train.

I really dont know London that well at all. I mean i could try and use google but coming from someone on here is alot better, easyer and i definitely know its the right place..

By the way are there ever age limits for these ones? As i know if there is i would definitely not qualify..

RE: [London, UK] Birth of a New Era [30/06/12] - BeyHyperK!LLeR - Jun. 22, 2012

Regents Park Underground Station is actually incredibly close to Charing Cross Underground station, only 3 stops away. But Baker Street is closer to the Bandstand itself, only 4 stops away.

Also, there are no age limits on WBO Tournaments.

Just because he posted on a thread doesn't mean you can randomly start talking to him about something totally different. Please use the PM system for talking about things like that.

Ok guys due to lack of interest for this event I am going to postpone this untill further notice, to be fair was a bit short notice anyway so keep checking back and I will get back to you as soon as myself and Blitz have a date avalable. In the mean time could this thread be closed please.

Sorry for any inconvenience.
