Judging from the last ToysRUs tournament, you're only allowed to use a standard Ripcord Launcher which comes with the stock Bey you're allowed to choose from. No BeyLaunchers as it is discontinued in Hasbro's toyline (Isn't it?).

EDIT: Oh no... Started a new page -__-

if they limit you to beyblades that are in the store and havn't been custmized, i'm saying no.

if thats the case its first come first serve i guess(Phantom orion for the win Joyful_3
i guess we all should just call instead of asking here.

RE: Toys R Us Tournaments - Rush - Oct. 03, 2012

So when they let you use a stock bey, I'm guessing that you get to keep it, right?

Nope. Not at all. I believe they give the beys to the winners.
Example: First place gets to choose 4 Beyblades + Stadium + Handbook, second place gets to choose 3 Beyblades + Stadium, and lastly third place gets 2 Beyblades.

At least that is what happened at the ToysRUs tourney I went to.

RE: Toys R Us Tournaments - Dual - Oct. 03, 2012

What?! That many prizes for one place? Thats a lot! Man oh man hasbro, how dare you not let me enter that tournament Angry

Okay, thanks for clearing that up for me! Because I looked up the last TRU Beyblade Tournament on the internet, and some bladers said that they gave beyblades out just for participating.

What do you mean? Did you do something at the last tournament that upset the store? Or is it because you only have TT Beyblades?

The one that I went to wasn't even a tournament, I was the only one who knew what beyblade was, other than my brother, they just let me play in the carp stadiums and I didn't get anything.

RE: Toys R Us Tournaments - TwiSteD' EAGLE - Oct. 03, 2012

Man I wish I was 13 so I could participate

RE: Toys R Us Tournaments - Rush - Oct. 03, 2012

Oh, so that answers my question. You have to be 13 or younger to participate. Well then, good for me!

14 if in the US though. (Yay! i'm eligible!)
I hope this "Battle Day" is better than, or equal to the fun of the previous one.
Last time, I was surprised someone knew of my L Drago Destroy. Interesting...

The one I went to, they let you use your own beyblades.

Not in this one, if it is like the one in Canada happening exactly on the same date ...

Oh so I guess I wont go to that one

RE: Toys R Us Tournaments - Blaziken - Oct. 03, 2012

FIRETRUCK! I'm going to be in a sailing regatta. However if I win ( which I will because I'm awsome like that.) the prize money is going towards beyblades anyway, it still shames me that my five year old brother is going and I'm not. I'm not sure why they're letting him do it, but they are. Hope he does well though... Uncertain

RE: Toys R Us Tournaments - Judas - Oct. 03, 2012

ugh, i wish i could participate. i've been waiting for a tournament in my area for quite a while!
but i'm 20.
and that's not 14 or younger.
ah well. my nephew will be able to do it, which will be rad. i have a feeling he'll be pretty bummed that he can't use his own beys though. ha. i'll tell him to bring his own stuff anyway, just on the off chance that this whole event is as disorganized as it currently seems.

RE: Toys R Us Tournaments - bladeshredder02 - Oct. 04, 2012

Im 10 but i look 13 so looking at me wont work

Huh? Im over the age limit. And i dont have only tt beys, i mostly have hasbro.
Edit: i messed up the quotes. My bad.

RE: Toys R Us Tournaments - Dark_Mousy - Oct. 04, 2012

Even tho I can't play in this weekend's TRU tournaments. I will be helping run one of the events.

RE: Toys R Us Tournaments - Eternal Blader - Oct. 04, 2012

In my city at the last tournament we were free to use anything we want, the only prizes were coupons and stickers.( great prizes, huh?) I met a person that actually knew about beyblade customizing and TT beys, and the same person had grips, beylaunchers, and he actually knew what he was doing. There is a glimmer of hope in me that there are SOME good bladers in my city. I'm gonna spread word of the WBO and teach everyone good combos, launching skills, and other things.

RE: Toys R Us Tournaments - T. L-Drago 9207 - Oct. 04, 2012

If I can talk my dad into taking me to the tournament, the least I can do is either watch the kids and/or give them customization advice and show off my collection.

RE: Toys R Us Tournaments - Kai-V - Oct. 04, 2012

Finally, only two days before the event now, an official announcement has been made that Toys "R" Us everywhere in the United States will also hold an event on October 6th ...

RE: Toys R Us Tournaments - Yuko Ray14 - Oct. 04, 2012

is it a tournament do u know kai-v or is it just an event

It really depends on each store ... Sometimes, you can be the only person to show up, so there is no tournament. Sometimes, there will be enough people, but no competent organiser among Toys "R" Us' employees, so no actual tournament, just a few random battles. You really go at your own risk, hah.

RE: Toys R Us Tournaments - Jay Harkins - Oct. 04, 2012

I won't be 15 for two more weeks, so I'm barely young enough to participate. Why does Hasbro have to be so naive when it comes to the ages of their consumers?

RE: Toys R Us Tournaments - Ninjaman60 - Oct. 05, 2012

Kai-V, the tournament that is coming up in Toy's R Us, Is that a real tournament or is it just one of those random battles that you talked about. I heard someone say you get a thousand dollars if you win. If it is a real tournament that is.
