Here's my theory. What if they clashed so hard the stadium broke. it'll be a "no contest" match. Just like Valt vs Lui in season 3. It was Lui's debut and Valt was champion so they had no other choice. Plus i don't think TT would go as far as to make Shu lose so early.

No. They only did that because Valt is only like 0.5% stronger than Lui. So it'd make no sence if he'd beat him.

There is no other choice then. Either Lucifer loses his debut or Shu loses so early in the season.

Drum lost in his 2nd battle in the anime.

That's different. Shu has a more important role in the season. not that i'm saying drum is useless

How? Shu is literally the same as the others. Someone who gets disrespected and trashed by Lane.

No. He actually means something this season. He is the mentor of Lean. He is trying to fix the problem he caused. Drum, Silas, Free, Lui etc they barely have any reason like Shu does. It's Shu's fault Lean is like this so he is trying to solve it.

Since when its his fault? The only reason Shu invited Lane to the bulls is because he was already gonna become a problem.

Well thats what Shu thinks. He puts a lot of guilt in him for this happening. He thinks it's his fault for not getting through Lean and making him get out of Flare.

I think his speaking on a viewer perspective probably thought that's how you view it . but it's not his fault in a person perspective cause lane would've most likeky end up being worse if shu didn't help him by training him to be discipline,  learning to have a good launch shoot . but it make a sense that in shu's perspective he feels guilty cause his trying to save a person to not ended up like how he was are how phi and aiga was . shu was like we don't need one of those again but lane is well kind of dodo to not realize that his bound to failed the way his going instead his so called destructive way .

Shu is a deeper character than most people think. He’s not like Valt because he has trauma from being subjected to illegal experiments, getting taken over by a personality created by his very own mind, and even having the one thing he worked so hard to make take over him in the end. Shu acts like everything will be fine when really he knows it won’t, he tries to guide the future but what he doesn’t realize is that the future don’t want his guidance, and so he is more susceptible to getting emotionally hurt by those he trained.

agreed you can see hiro really had a passion to write him to be a bit complex,  and valt with the his written that makes theses 2 work so well together.  this is why valt,  shu,  aiga (he wasn't on my list at all but after rewatching cho z he grew on) delta, and free tied with lui as my top character when it comes to development their well written.

Shu is being handled better than Valt imo

RE: Beyblade Burst Sparking Episode #35 (November 20, 2020) - Valtryek Aoi - Nov. 14, 2020

Shu is going to get thrashed by the own NRPA that allowed him to win in the first place.

Now everything will be where it should be.
Oh wait, I'm wrong. Lean is still on top for just getting an evolution. Very good.
B AD.

I think the anime staff and writer should've make the anime like the manga without showing the rest of the 15 legends because rn sparking anime just feels "Eh" I really hope they could improve on the writing onwards maybe like give us new settings that is unique and fitting AND LEAN BACKSTORYabout his progression

Huh strange cause supposedly Spriggan uses 3 modes: Attack, Defense, Stamina

RE: Beyblade Burst Sparking Episode #35 (November 20, 2020) - ValtKurenai2020 - Nov. 14, 2020

If Shu loses in this episode ( which I'm pretty sure he will) then Valt will be the only legend to have remain undefeated for a more no of episodes or have won more matches before his first loss. Thus Valt is the best legend ( not strongest).

RE: Beyblade Burst Sparking Episode #35 (November 20, 2020) - EarthHelios - Nov. 14, 2020

Loses of top 5:
Valt: 3 loses
Shu: 1 or 2 loses
Aiga: 2 loses
Free: 4 loses
Lui: 3 loses
