-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Here are my main predictions

- The next Phoenix bey could kick off the #-90 ratchets (The reason I'm doing this one is because from earlier releases, the ratchets were in this order: 9-60, 9-70, 9-80)

- CX-17 might be a left spin CX bey (The reason here is that the two current left spinning beys have product codes with multiples of 17 (Cobalt Dragoon is BX-34, and 34 ÷ 2 = 17 | Meteor Dragoon is UX-17))

- The next X-Over bey for Beyblade Burst could be the one and only Lost Longinus (Reason: The X-Overs of Beyblade Burst are currently all part of the dual layer system)

What are your predictions? Let me know! 🙂

Format: This is an experimental format where bladers will use Beyblades from the colours of the flags of their motherland and battle 3v3, no repeating parts.

For example, I am from Mali, so the possibility of wizard rod (yellow), 1-60 (red), and Rush (green) is viable because all 3 colours of the flag are present.

Another example would be for Honduras, Aero Pegasus (white and blue), 1-60 (blue and smoke), and Kick (white)

For colour-matching ratchets, the outer part must match one of the colours of your flag. The inner part of the ratchet can be swapped to match your flag, but if you aren't a fan of ratchet swapping, the inside colour of your ratchet can be neutral, meaning black, white, clear, or smoke

For flags with more than 3 colours, such as South Africa, each bey must be limited to 3 colours, but the whole flag must be represented across your deck.

Assist blade colours do not matter when forming a Beyblade. Many CX Beyblades also all have stickers on them, which do not count as a colour.

For those from multiple ethnic backgrounds, you will only be allowed to pick one flag to represent.

Because of that, I was wondering if any of you guys would be able to possibly meet up and have a mini tournament on my birthday (April 29) or the week of it? If so, I would need some people to bring their stadiums because I only own the HASBRO one from the starter set. The format would be X, just to clarify. I know that there is a New England Discord, but I do not have discord so I am posting my message here. Please let me know if anyone would be able to or be willing to attend my birthday meetup. Also, this would take place outdoors in my town common.

Recently I was informed that we are no longer requiring Challonge accounts for X Tournaments in Season 0 which is all well and good but my personal issue is that now I'm on the rankings list twice. Once with my Challonge account and once without it, meaning my wins and loses are split up between them, and at a recent tournament I was put back at a Elo of 1,000 since they weren't using my actual account which had an Elo of 1,034 This isn't the end of the world but it is a tad bit annoying. Will anything be done about this or will there be an announcement about this change in the future?

A fun place to talk about your favorite Wizard Arrow combo

The Wizard Arrow (5-80 Needle) combo stands out as a versatile and strategic choice. Here's a breakdown:

Layer: Wizard Arrow
This layer excels in counter-attacks and agility. It allows the Beyblade to move swiftly and respond to the opponent's moves with precision.

Disk: 5-80
The 5-80 disk offers decent weight distribution, giving the combo some stability. However, it's not the heaviest, so it might struggle in direct power clashes.

Driver: Needle
The Needle driver helps balance out the combo's agility with stability. It's good at preventing destabilization during intense battles and provides decent stamina.

Strengths:
Agility: It moves quickly, making it hard for opponents to land solid hits.
Counter-attacks: The layer’s design is perfect for bouncing back and delivering counter-attacks.
Weaknesses:
Weight: Lighter than some other combos, which could lead to less defense against heavy-hitting attacks.
Stability: Though quick, it might get knocked off balance in extended clashes.
It's a solid, agile combo, great for fast, strategic play!

Hi all,

I'd like to start a conversation here regarding custom launcher grips.

I've recently come back into the hobby after many, many years and so far I'm really enjoying Beyblade X! One thing I find lacking in the official TT/Habsro product, however, are the launcher grips. In past gens grips were more ergonomically shaped and, in my opinion, aesthetically pleasing. The current X grips I find to be too blocky and don't appear to be as ergonomic. Fortunately, in this modern day and age, many talented designers and artists have created launcher grips for the X system that I believe are better than what are officially available.

However, under official WBO rules, it is currently illegal to use unofficial launcher grips at tournaments. To be frank, I do not agree with this. Custom launcher grips do not confer any advantage to the player using them that an official one wouldn't. They do not themselves increase the power of a launch, do not interfere with an opponent's launch and do not, in any way, affect the performance of a Beyblade themselves.

I ask the WBO to reconsider the ruling, or to add another clause to the equipment rules that would allow the use of custom launcher grips at official WBO tournaments so long as they meet the following criteria:

The Launcher Grip must not mechanically affect the performance of a Beyblade

The Launcher Grip must not interfere with the opponent's launch

As previously stated, this post is meant to be an invitation to discuss and debate the merits and drawbacks of custom launcher grips on the Beyblade scene. Ultimately, it is my hope that after a period of reflection, the WBO rules can be amended to allow the use of these grips at official events.

Thanks,
