Hybrid does not change spin, it regains balance and speeds up.

No, it makes it back to balance and makes it go faster depending in the way and how hard you launch it

I am fairly sure that hybrid just make your bey more of an attack type when it is on.

Hybrid you have to manually turn on and off. When it's on and your in battle, it will only activate when your losing balance. Sometimes for me It activates at random.
