~it had been several days since Athena and Valts battle and Athena was doing some running through Japan, a huge announcement was about to be made at the GT Arena~

Athena: Im gonna be late!!!!

~she arrives just barely, Hyuga, Hikaru, Rantaro, Ranjiro and Valt were there~

Athena: *exhausted* alright... Wha- What did I miss?!

Valt: You're just in time, it's about to start.

~they walk in the Arena and Hanami steps on stage~

Hanami: Ok all you bladers!!! The WBBA is announcing a brand new event starting in a few weeks, we have the honor of having the lovely host of the event and WBBA Director: Kristina Kuroda!!

~Kris steps up on stage and stands next to Hanami as the crowd cheers excitedly~

Kris: Thank you Hanami for the warm welcome. Alright, hello everyone! Im happy to announce The Legend League! A tournament which will decide who the next Legendary Blader will be added to the Legend Ranks.

Athena: This is awesome!!!

Kris: However if a Legend is to win, their rank will simply just increase. And now, lets meet our Legends! Our great legends are Valt Aoi, Shu Kurenai, Aiga Akaba, Drum Koryu, Free De La Hoya, Lui Shirosagijo, Sisco Karlisle, Rantaro Kiyama, Delta Akane, Gwyn Ronny, Xhakuenji Kaiza (calling him Xhaka in the future) and Wakiya Komurasaki!!

*the 12 Legends appear behind Kristina, waving at the excited and cheering crowd*

Kris: And now, let the Legend League Qualifiers begin!!

~the Qualifiers were intense, Athena battled Joshua, Kurtz and Laban, Hikaru battled Ghasem, Kitt and Kyle, Hyuga battled Boa, Rewui and Cuza and Lane battled Suoh and Xhan. All the legends qualified. it was time for the last match: Lane Vs Ranjiro~

Hanami: Ok boys and girls! It is time for the final battle of the Qualifiers!! It is Ranjiro Kiyama versus Lane Valhalla!!

Ranjiro: So we finally battle.

~Lane said nothing, his bey glowed in his hand~

Lane: I won't even need to go full force on you...

Ranjiro: Heh.. I wouldn't be so sure about that!

Referee: First Battle!! Ready Set!

3 2 1 GO SHOOT!!!

~Ragnaruk and Lucifer land in the stadium and they clash in the center~

Ranjiro: That center is mine!!

*Ragnaruk successfully knocks Lucifer away, reclaiming the center*

Ranjiro: How's that?!

*Lucifer had lost its balance*

Lane: Tch...

~Lanes flare activates as his facial markings glow~

Lane: I'll destroy you!!!

*Lucifer comes in for an attack*

Ranjiro: This is it! Glide Tornado!

*Ragnaruks tornado picks Lucifer up and flings it across the stadium*

Lane: W-what the-?!

*Lucifer hits the ground with a clang*

Referee: Glide Ragnaruk! Over Finish!! 1 Point Goes To Ranjiro Kiyama!!

~the crowd goes wild, Lane grabs his bey and turns toward Ranjiro with a frightening expression~

Ranjiro: *in his mind* the hell is this guys problem? Athena said he is a bit unhinged but i don't think that does him justice now...

Lane: I'll end you...

Referee: Second Battle! Ready Set!

3 2 1 GO SHOOT!!!

~Lucifers barrier didn't come out~

Ranjiro: What?! Wheres the barrier?!?

*Ragnaruk took the center and Lucifer comes right for it*

Ranjiro: Hang on!!

*Lucifers attacks were ruthless, each attack being stronger than the last*

Ranjiro: keep it steady Ragnaruk!!

*one of Lucifers attacks knocks Ragnaruk off balance*

Lane: LUCIFER!!!!

*Lucifers avatar comes out*

Ranjiro: I'll knock you out of the ring! Ragnaruk!!!

Ranjiro: Go! Glide Counter!!

Lane: Variant Disaster!!

*a massive explosion bursts out as the 2 beys clashed*

~Athena watches with a worried expression*

*Ragnaruk was blown straight into the air and it falls right towards Lucifer*

Lane: Now destroy it with Variant Armageddon!!!

*Lucifer uses its ring and chassis to attack, another massive explosion erupts*

~Lucifer sends a crack straight through Ragnaruk, splitting it in half~

Ranjiro: *gasp* no... I-it can't be.... Theres no way!! R-ragnaruk...

Referee: Variant Lucifer! Burst Finish! Lane Valhalla wins with a score 2-1!!

Lane: What was that you were saying about "knocking me out of the ring"?

~Athena was in shock, she had never seen her brother destroy a bey before. All she could do was watch~

~Ranjiro picks up the fragments of his bey and walks away without saying anything~

Lane: *looking down at Lucifer* our flare is almost at our peak, once its there.... No one will ever stand in our way!!

~a few days had passed since Ranjiro and Lanes battle. Ranjiro did get his bey repaired, Athena was training hard and Lane sat in his factory, tending to Harry, Valt was leaning against a wall and stared off into the distance~

Valt: The Legend League.. Im getting so excited!!!

~someone appeared next to him, it was Xhaka! In his hand was a new Xcalibur!~

Valt: So its finally done huh?

Xhaka: Yep! This is Zone Xcalibur!

Valt: Its so cool looking!!!

Xhaka: Heh. Alright lets have a battle for old times sake.

Valt: Yes, lets do it Xhaka!!

~they walk to a stadium~

3 2 1 GO SHOOT!!

*Xcalibur and Valkyrie land in the stadium and head in for an attack*

Valt: Brave Sword!

Xander: Double Impact!

*Xcalibur knocks Valkyrie out with no effort at all*

Valt: Heh, you've gotten stronger Xhaka.

Xhaka: Same to you.

~they continue on for hours and hours, meanwhile Athena looks down at Adeona as sweat dropped from her~

Athena: *thinks to herself* is there no limit to his flare... Will he burn himself out before I can save him?...

No the contest ended a month ago but there might be one more contest next season of DeltaZakuros story.

with the Legend League starting in a matter of weeks, Athena trains hard. as she is training, she meets Legend Blader Free De La Hoya, another blader who seems to have a grudge against Lane.

It is stated he gets it repaired. i use Xhaka because im using japanese naming for beys so i figured to use the japanese naming too
