What type is Ωcta? - Chickenbot1000 - Sep. 23, 2020 I always assumed octa was a defense driver, and have used it in defense combos to good affect. So, if it works as a defense driver and is listed as a defense driver, why is it often used as a attack type on the WBO? To summarize, is it a defense or attack type, and whats it good for? It's a stamina type driver. It's just heavy. RE: What type is Ωcta? - TrainiacJ - Sep. 23, 2020 Octa is meant to be a Stamina-type Driver, but some players like to use Octa for Stationary Attackers because of its weight. Takara Tomy's listed types for parts aren't necessarily hard rules, since some parts can be used well in multiple kinds of combos and some parts just straight up horrible for their listed type but are far more useful for another type of combo. The official type designations are basically just a social construct, and real life performance is more important than what's written on a box. Hope this helps! RE: What type is Ωcta? - TheRogueBlader - Sep. 23, 2020 True, but because octa has metal around the outside of it, it can be used to ride around the stadium edge at speeds even faster than volcanic and the Xceed driver. I’ve seen it with my own eyes with my octa. |
