You’re quite wrong. There are combos Arc excels at that makes Fafnir worse. I’ll do some testing so we can test this out to show you.

While true, you’d be surprised what it’s able to do with that burst resistance. I’ll do some testing but I’ve heard good things about Arc on Bearing against right spin beys.

Arc is already hard to get because its in the customize set. Im not getting many of them.

Arc Bahamut (MGC) 5Wall Bearing (Weak Launched) Vs Twin Nemesis (Upper Mode and MGC) 7Expand Dimension’ (Low Attack Mode). I did ten rounds.

Results:

Arc Bahamut: 70% (4 OS’ 3 KO’s)

Twin Nemesis: 30% (2 Burst’s 1 KO)

Actually, because the teeth are so weak, it can actually re-lock it’s teeth and prevent bursting. Now, against left spins, is would for sure die.

Results:

Arc Bahamut: 100%  (8 OS’ 2 KO’s)

Bloody Longinus: 0%
Comparing this with a Drain Fafnir (MGC) test on the exact same combo goin up against the same Bloody Longinus combo.

Drain Fafnir: 90% (5 OS’ 3 KO’s)

Bloody Longinus: 10% (1 KO)

I also noticed Drain Fafnir had less same spin stamina than Arc Bahamut. I consider Arc Bahamut better for same spin matches from my testing.
