Questions about Hold (Awoken) - lilphilyb - Feb. 29, 2020
I have heard that the Hold driver and it's dash Driver counterpart can be awoken. This has sparked a few questions about it that it would like awnsered.
1. What does Hold look like Awakened?
2. Is it's preformance similar or better than Awakened Volcanic?
3. Which preforms better? Hold or Volcanic (Awakened)

1. It looks identical.
2. It’s a better awakened volcanic/volcanic’.
3. It really depends on the combo, though overall probably hold/hold’.

Awakened Volcanic' has better same spin performance than Hold'. Volcanic' can consistently stall and might even outspin opponents while Hold has a hard time doing something similar even when its more awakened/free-spinning.
Opposite spin is where it gets confusing. An awakened Hold' might tie with Wall Bearing although I don't think I've seen it win. Volcanic' in my experience can also tie with Wall Bearing but its less consistent than Hold'. However, I've seen some competitive videos from Japan where Volcanic' outspins Wall Bearing in opposite spin by a noticeable margin, which pretty surprises me.
