Do not permit Elf surveillance! - DeceasedCrab - Dec. 12, 2019

Santa is real and his elves are real. We will start from that blanket assumption. Do not question this.

Elf on a shelf is bad. Do not permit any elves to sit on any shelves and monitor your activities!

Santa is already aware of your activities. He does not require additional on-site elves to monitor your behavior. He has a thorough intelligence network, that includes your caregivers, your peers, everyone. Everyone is already snitching on the bad things you did this year, but these elves on shelves? You don't need the additional snitches in your life. Also, maybe stop doing bad things. They can't snitch on you if you only did good things, because then there's no reason to snitch.

Who these additional elves on shelves are reporting your activities to is unknown. They certainly don't report to your parents. It's probably the corporations. They already have enough data on you, don't give them more.

Santa probably finds the elves' redundant reporting tiresome, if he receives reports from them at all. Do not permit them to watch you.

You should not grow up in an environment where you have a creepy doll spying on you. That's rude. If your caregiver sets one up, your caregiver is being rude.

Elves on shelves are not legally permitted to conduct surveillance activities on you. Your local and state and federal governments do not authorize them to spy on your activities. These elves are breaking the law. Your caregivers might claim they have authorized this, but the laws vary per state or municipality on whether or not non-consenting recording and surveillance is permissible. Check your local laws.

Bladers, if your house contains an Elf on a shelf, cover its face and eyes with duct tape. Don't worry, they won't suffocate, elves are magic. They'll just have to expend that magic on sustaining their physical forms rather than spying on you. And then tape a note to the elf reading "I do not consent to elf-based surveillance. If you want to know if I've been naughty or nice, just ask."

Is this a joke or something? I’m so confused.

I’m just going with it since I was scared of elf on the shelf when I was younger

You see, I have one of those in my house, and I have for a few years. I never thought about the fact that they were breaking the law.

Well instead of taping his face and eyes why don’t we touch him and lock them in the closet? That sounds more effective than taping their eyes and face. Without the magic since you touch them they can’t get out.

Umm... if that’s what needs to happen for our protection then go for it

It’s futile...
If you buy than then u automatically consent to their terms & conditions! It’s all deep state sauce! Simply don’t buy them,
They are a Ponzi scheme!

My sisters love theirs... and I don’t feel like breaking their hearts, but I agree
