n0.oNe: I recommend getting a Death Quetzalcoatl because it offers the RDF performance tip which is excellent for defense.

BD145RDF is the best defense set-up utilizing BD145.

Dragooon and Gryph balance out perfectly, so you could make the Equalizing combo (MSF) Gryph Dragooon BGrin, or the Anti-Attack Combo MSF Dragooon Gryph GB145/R145/BD145RF/R2F. Saramanda would be better than Gryph in either setup, though.

Flame is heavily outclassed for stamina and I don't think it can do much on 230.
Basalt Kerbeks 230SD is a much better stamina combo, try getting a D tip as its great on 230 tracks

your defence combo isint really a defense vombo as all defense series tips are used for staina and moreover WD scrapes on BD145 in normal mode so it wont last long oce it starts taking hits as it will scrape a lot (beleive me I have tried)
& EWD would be bettaer for the stamina combo as it definitely has more stamina than EWF

Defstamina- Hey, why not AD145 for Stamina? Did it get outclassed or something(I've been away for a while so I don't know)?!
I do know that W145 outperformed it, however, it still remains the second best Stamina track, no?
Or, are you just looking to give him an LTSC (which are known to outspin HTSCs)?
Also, recently Carly R. Jepsen had corrected me saying that Basalt is better than Scythe for Stamina. Smile

Hey guys, I need a better competitive set, my friend came over and beat me, and I used to beat his best bey.
Burn Wolf AD145 DS, Earth Herculio 100 EWD, and Burn Striker WA130 WD.
How can I improve them, and keep at least Burn Wolf a balance?

Well, Balance types suck unless they are built to perfection, to be honest...
The ones you have made are not "good" Balance types. Sooo, list your parts, and also tell us what "best bey" does your friend use, and we will help you with a better set.
When you say "set" I believe you are playing in some Hasbro tourney? Or if not in a tourney, you are simply inspired by their procedure? So I believe you use a Hasbro stadium...
So yeah, list your parts and also name the bey your friend uses. Joyful_3

While BobMcDoogal already gave you some awesome combos there, a word of advice-
If possible, try not to use Attack too much. Even the best of Attackers tend to suck is a Hasbro Stadium.
Luckily, your friend uses a relatively BAD combo, so you can very well beat him! Joyful_3
Use the Stamina combo given to you above, and you'll be able to beat him easily.
