Weight disks and Gekiryu-oh - Caron - Apr. 22, 2008 I saw the weight disk that sparks, has anyone tried them out? I'm kind of intrigued as to what they do. Anyone got pics? Saw it here: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/BEYBLADE-gold-color-metal-ring-with-spark-effect-B_W0QQitemZ110245773767QQcmdZViewItem Also, is this a Hasbro or Takara Gekiryu-oh? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=230245355771&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT&ih=013 RE: Weight disks and Gekiryu-oh - Bey Brad - Apr. 22, 2008 That first WD is fake. That Gekiryu-oh is Hasbro. Please use the Ask a question thread for posts like this in the future. RE: Weight disks and Gekiryu-oh - Caron - Apr. 22, 2008 Bey Brad Wrote:That first WD is fake. Ah ok, sorry. I know it's fake, but has anyone had exprience in using them? RE: Weight disks and Gekiryu-oh - Bey Brad - Apr. 22, 2008 Yes. They spark sometimes, but not often. Takara made official spark disks but they're hard to find and very expensive. RE: Weight disks and Gekiryu-oh - Cye Kinomiya - Apr. 23, 2008 Also, I think Takara released a special sticker that goes around Wide Survivor that has a spark effect RE: Weight disks and Gekiryu-oh - Nic - Apr. 23, 2008 Cye Kinomiya Wrote:Also, I think Takara released a special sticker that goes around Wide Survivor that has a spark effect No. Two flints; sticker is sandpaper. It helps with spinstealing. [Image: PC170425.jpg] You can see it here; the sticker is rough. There's a small hole where the flint used to be, but as it wears over time it will eventually drop out. The idea is when two of this collide, the sandpaper sticker will scrap the flint and spark. Takara removed this product due to "parental concern over sparks", but it's also suspicious since this part happens to be very useful for tournements of that era.
