Energy Layer - Shadow/Shining Amaterios - MonoDragon - Nov. 21, 2018 Quote:==Description==I'm putting this as Shadow/Shining Amaterios since they're pretty much the same Layer with the same performance (abysmal). When I'm putting this up on the wiki I'll edit the Shadow/Shining parts to match the page RE: Energy Layer - Shadow/Shining Amaterios - CitrusNinja3 - Nov. 21, 2018 (Nov. 21, 2018 5:57 AM)MonoDragon Wrote:don't forget the moving pieces on Shining αmaterios, which make it worse and break easilyQuote:==Description==I'm putting this as Shadow/Shining Amaterios since they're pretty much the same Layer with the same performance (abysmal). I remember seeing some difference in the spikes (not that they would make a huge difference of course) (Nov. 20, 2018 5:31 PM)Jinbee Wrote:(Nov. 20, 2018 5:23 PM)Grey Bey Wrote: so...what exactly is it's gimmick? Kimboslice said in his Shining Amaterios vs Archer Hercules video that a blade started moving only because it broke RE: Energy Layer - Shadow/Shining Amaterios - CitrusNinja3 - Nov. 21, 2018 (Nov. 21, 2018 3:39 PM)MonoDragon Wrote:(Nov. 21, 2018 12:36 PM)CitrusNinja3 Wrote: The little red spikes on the RBG version which sre blue spikes on the Battle Zero Version. That's what happened to some Shadow Amaterios layers, but Shining Amaterios is supposed to have them move, as pointed out in Takara Tomy's own videos. RE: Energy Layer - Shadow/Shining Amaterios - Adarsh Abhinav - Nov. 22, 2018 this should be enough [Image: a1l1j9.png] RE: Energy Layer - Shadow/Shining Amaterios - MonoDragon - Nov. 22, 2018 You can see the third grey blade underneath the blue blade RE: Energy Layer - Shadow/Shining Amaterios - Adarsh Abhinav - Nov. 22, 2018 (Nov. 22, 2018 1:09 AM)MonoDragon Wrote: You can see the third grey blade underneath the blue blade at the same time, the moving blades are different RE: Energy Layer - Shadow/Shining Amaterios - MonoDragon - Nov. 22, 2018 (Nov. 22, 2018 1:21 AM)Adarsh Abhinav Wrote:(Nov. 22, 2018 1:09 AM)MonoDragon Wrote: You can see the third grey blade underneath the blue blade Which is why I said the only difference between the two is less intricate molding on Shining RE: Energy Layer - Shadow/Shining Amaterios - Adarsh Abhinav - Nov. 22, 2018 (Nov. 22, 2018 2:15 AM)MonoDragon Wrote:(Nov. 22, 2018 1:21 AM)Adarsh Abhinav Wrote: at the same time, the moving blades are different The blades in Shining are more easily movable and thus Shining is 1 gram RE: Energy Layer - Shadow/Shining Amaterios - Hipsty - Dec. 06, 2018 Does it still have some competitive use though? All you said bout that is that it lags behind wV RE: Energy Layer - Shadow/Shining Amaterios - TheBladingCow - May. 29, 2019 Is this still good for Defense though? It kind of looks defensive to me but idk. RE: Energy Layer - Shadow/Shining Amaterios - Armor - Aug. 04, 2019 (May. 29, 2019 5:28 AM)TheBladingCow Wrote: Is this still good for Defense though? It kind of looks defensive to me but idk. I agree with you here. Due to the strong teeth and relatively round shape, this layer should be good for defense combos, despite being outclassed at this point. Also, I think this layer is highly vulnerable to upper attack because of it's shape. RE: Energy Layer - Shadow/Shining Amaterios - Amaterios - Aug. 03, 2020 I have the Hasbro version, and the blades move. The five different color blades extend outward when it spins. And when it's launched at an angle, the silver blades give it a really good upper attack without destabilizing itself. If you use it right, it can beat revive pheonix.
