Winning Valkyrie's combo: opinions? - bblader/90 - Aug. 07, 2018

So, here it is:
wV (gold layer version with clear teeth)
5g
Jolt

I don't feel like i want to add more weight, since i'd love to keep a high burst resistance...

RE: Winning Valkyrie's combo: opinions? - brandbrick - Aug. 07, 2018

If you have 10, might wanna swap it with 5? Not sure if 10 has much Burst resistance. You don’t need Burst resistance that much on wV considering it’s amazing teeth. Combo you have now is pretty good, but if you really wanna keep the 5, then just replace the frame with Bump.

RE: Winning Valkyrie's combo: opinions? - Dragunix - Aug. 07, 2018

Yeah, I'd recommend 10, 7, or 0 for the combo. Bump or Meteor would be better options for frames.

(if you're using the aforementioned discs on other combos, 5 or 4 can still work as a substitute and isn't bad at all, just decent bc of heavy discs like 7, 10 and 0)

I think somebody else used wV._L.Fr as a stationary combo, but I don't have a lift frame or friction yet, so I'll need to see that for myself when I can get my hands on them.

RE: Winning Valkyrie's combo: opinions? - bblader/90 - Aug. 07, 2018

Ok, i asked because they say clear teeth have less friction with the drivers = skip easier. Have you ever tried? I watched a video on YouTube, a japanese guy completed the combo who was released with corocoro for three issues in a row. Gold wV, Red 7 and a black xtend. Well, that combo bursted twice in two battles against a stock eF! I couldn't believe it...

PS xtend sucks, that's the reason. Just watched another video of the same combo...

Where from? I've never even come across any posts you uploaded to this site before, so I'd appreciate it if you didn't make accusations regarding the information in my own post. I just took a look at your total posts on the WBO (which, as of this moment, is only 3). Not only did you not make a post similar to mine in any way, but you don't have any evidence to even prove this statement of yours, as mentioned above.

If you would like to know where I got the information from (regarding Lift on wV at least), a user by the name of @[RedPanda2] pointed out that use for the frame, and personally, I found it interesting, so I mentioned it here. The rest of the information is solely based off of the parts drafts the WBO has kindly put together for public use.

I really just want to know why you suddenly accused me of stealing your post though. All I really intended to do was agree with previous posts and current WBO drafts to provide some (albeit repeated) information.

I would appreciate if you would say sorry to
Dragunix for accusing him for doing something he did not do.

So you have every wV recolor? Otherwise, you can't be a reliable source...

i haven’t done hardcore scientific testing, but i have them all. and i think the original release is slightly but noticeably better.

and generally recolors of any layer are less desirable for this reason (red dF, red mG, clear tN, etc.)

He may also have friends... Or some reviews given by someone from the WBO and YouTube... I actually remember reading a post regarding the recolor wVs having weaker teeth due to the fact that all of them are clear...(And so they are less reliable...) But the weird thing is, my friend's wV is the original but it still has it's teeth worn... My Sr who was bought before that still is in good condition with such thin teeth...

Hey Panda! Iyho which version is the worst of all?
Ps could you explain what you mean with "slightly but noticeably better"? It sounds like a contradiction to me, if there's a slight difference it shouldn't be noticed that much.

Hi pheonix! Sure, he could have seen from a friend/random bladers out there but the teeth question hasn't come out today. Some say there's a little difference, now you say that the wV you talk about has teeth in worse conditions than the ones on your requiem. It's strange, it would take a comparison to define the degree of teeth wear before & after a determined amount of time...

I wasn't joking, i really asked in a serious way. Sorry if it came up to you wrong. Do you think there's a way to fill the small gap between the original and recolors (maybe not overcharging the combo with excessive heavy parts)? After having tried all wV versions, which one is the worst around iyo?
