King Karken, 3D Printable Layer - XanderM - Jun. 15, 2018

Hello!!!! So, I recently made this post on the General Forum, showing off my design for a burst layer called Million Megalados. The layer had some issues concerning how it would be colored, as any printing of the layer would be in just one single color, and would be hard to paint. So I am redesigning it, but in the meanwhile, I designed a new layer called King Karken. Karken is a left spin attack type layer with an irregular shape and weight distribution. In addition to that, it is made of multiple parts which connect together, to allow for separate printing and painting. I haven't added a way to connect they yet (screws or a clip), but putty could be used in the prototype. I also fixed an issue that Megalados had where the contact points appear to be to thin, and were likely to break easily. I am hoping that this new design proves to be better than Megalados in terms of practicality. My main goals in all of this are to practice my design skills, and aid in the growth of 3D printed layers as a trend in the blader community. So, without further ado, I present you with King Karken!

I actually just took the original model, then mirrored it. Both the teeth and the ledges for the launcher prongs were flipped as if for a left spinning bey.
