Not a lot happened in the episode, it was just about Souu..
The episode starts with us seeing Souu in his house.. Wandering around, wondering something..
Fubuki vs Souu, was a piece of cake for Fubuki and he won!
The next day at school it's Aiga vs Souu!
Souu lost the first round because of a KO.
But when the Alter Ego of Souu entered the game, Aiga was dead! In no time Achilles Burst and Souu won!
Souu is a more complex person than he looks!
And I feel he changes his personality during the battles for only one's who he thinks are worth It..
He does nothing, just flips his bangs from his right eye to the left eye..
But this small thing Brings in massive changes..
There is something written o nSouu's face as well, like how it is written on Aiga's and Valt's face! I wasn't able to recognise it..  But I guess someone will tell us about this..
Another thing I noticed in this episode was that Aiga trusts Lui's string puller machine a lot. He keeps practicing with it..

Anyways, overall a pretty good episode..

Preview of episode 9!
It's Toku vs Souu..
The only Thing I could notice in the preview is, Fubuki was pushing Toku a little too far.. Yes Practice makes a man perfect but what he was doing to Toku could have left Toku too tired for the match...
It's already there that Souu's other personality is going to come again..
So I have a hunch about who is going to win this battle.. Ok and it is definitely not that tough to guess. But Its Beyblade, anything could happen..
So we can't do much but just wait and watch!

 
It Kinda looks like this:

Yeah, it's not too bad actually. I like the idea of Suou changing personalities as his beyblade changes, and having his more stern face be the other side of his face is cool. Oh yeah he has a stern serious side to him, as opposed to his eye closed welcoming face and personality. This is also the first time we get to see any quake type function in action with the Operate driver, as Quake never got an anime appearance and Spriggan Requiem simply never did a quake move in the anime.

Oh right, I should do my usual "play by play" plot summary and review. Well it begins with Suou cutting some plants, while thinking about his battle against Fubuki when he first had his Super Z beyblade. Suou at the time used that generic Beat Kulkulcan combo and predictably lost very easily, it should be noted that Suou has used three beyblades from what we know, the first being that generic light blue Yeager Yggdrasil combo, then the mentioned Beat Kulkukan generic, now he has Hell Salamander. After the flashback, he gets... whatever that thing on the shelf is and uses it to make his Hell Salamander, from what I see that thing on the shelf he uses looks like bones but someone could fill me in on what that actually is.

Alright so this leads me to a reoccurring problem I have had with the Burst anime in general, whenever they show the process of making the beyblade, it never seems to logically make sense to me, but the thing he uses to make his beyblade doesn't even look like metal, and how Aiga and his dad, and now Suou and that old man he was with can make super complicated detailed beyblades, along with the coloured plastic, I can understand the metal parts but how the coloured plastic bits? And how did Suou get his driver? Why use a display piece, whether it be that statue Aigas dad make or Suous display of... that bone like thing, when they could get high quality strong metal elsewhere, it just seems like some lame attempt at adding some mystical elements to it.

Alright enough of that rant, now Suou battles Ranjirou, and uses defense mode... against a stamina type. However it does end up making sense as the rounder shape is used to have as much surrounding the layer as possible which made it possible to push Ragnaruks wings inside and deactivate it's special move. Ranjirou of course loses, 2-0 in fact making me believe the Rantaro losing curse is finally being passed on to him, and I am guessing Aiga will beat him soon too, considering he hasn't yet.

Oh and Aiga battles Suou and wins round one, forcing Suou to change modes and also his personality, being more aggressive. He feels like a totally different character no doubt, now that I think about it, Suou is almost a tiny bit like Kensuke, except his two personalities aren't using puppets and aren't both at the same time. Alright maybe they aren't that similar. Anyway, Suou uses the quake move from Operates attack mode like I mentioned, and beats Achilles by diving onto it, ending the battle. The battle was pretty fun to watch and Achilles did seem like it could've won, but it didn't.

Ranjirou and Aiga train against each other, and I swear the people behind the show must really miss the super repetitive Rantaro and Valt training and bickering, so they brought it back! Only this time it's Ranjirou and Aiga, who are virtually identical to the aforementioned characters, especially Ranjirou who now feels just like Rantaro with hardly any differences.
