NEW ANIME DETAILS! Bakuten Shoot Beyblade Beyrider - Bey Brad - Apr. 15, 2008
I just heard details about the new anime from my friends in Japan! It is called BAKUTEN SHOOT BEYBLADE BEYRIDER. In this new series, Beyblade are large motorized vehicles that the Beybladers climb into and battle each other in a half-pipe shaped race arena. It sounds really cool!

At first when I read "Rider", I instantly thought Kamen Rider.
Instead of beetles I pictured the characters dressed up in armor similar to their bit beasts and rode around in motorcycles and shooting lasers.

Well, let's just hope to God that it's better than this concept, although it's pretty safe to say it'll be the same old series with a new team (most probably related to the Bladebreakers in some way, shape or form) but we'll see how it goes.
